When Gao Yang opened his eyes, he found himself lying on a hospital bed, the lights in the room were soft, and in front of him were several blurred faces.

Gao Yang breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a sharp pain at the incision, which made him furrow his brows before he softly said, “Is everyone okay?”

Glolov pointed backward with a smile and said, “All good, all returned, not missing a single one, everyone’s here. Krulney has left, he left on his own, didn’t act with us, it’s a pity. If nothing major happens, he won’t die.”

Gao Yang exhaled in relief and spoke softly, “That’s good!”

A group of people gathered with smiles, Cui Bo chuckled and said, “Brother Yang, you’ve got a tough life, all of you have tough lives, but for you to survive this time, Albert deserves a lot of credit, so we’ve decided to officially accept him!”

Gao Yang tilted his head slightly, seeing Albert standing in front of him on crutches.

She walked straight over to Gao Yang’s hospital bed and held Gao Yang’s hand, speaking softly, “Boss, thank goodness you’re alright.”

Gao Yang smiled and looked at Lucica’s long-unseen face and then directed his gaze to Lucica’s belly, then said somewhat weakly, “What brought you here? Did Big Bird tell you? Why would I be in trouble? I was just a bit unlucky this time, Lucica, you should be resting at home, not traveling so far to New York. Are you alright? Is the baby inside okay too?”

Lucica’s belly had visibly grown, she placed Gao Yang’s hand on her belly with a look of happiness and softly said, “We’re all fine. As the child’s godfather, you’d surely want to know something, I’ve already had a hospital checkup, it’s a very healthy boy, so his name has already been decided, he’ll be called Bruce Yang William.”

Albert raised his hand slightly, speaking softly, “That’s me.”
