Chapter 1253: Chapter One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Six: Double-pronged Approach

Gao Yang became interested and said, “Very good, this is indeed a critical piece of information. So, do you know specific details about the woman?”

“Of course I know. When Krulney used his card, he left behind a lot of crucial information. I can tell you both the woman’s name and the location of the window display. You can investigate along this lead.”

Gao Yang exhaled and smiled, saying, “One last question: the key to this lead lies in Krulney’s credit card. So, how can we ensure that the user of this credit card is Krulney himself? I find it hard to believe that Krulney would use his real name to apply for a credit card, and under the assumption that someone would be tracking him, still use that card to buy plane tickets, stay at hotels, and the like.”

Justin paused for a moment and then said softly, “Inside informant. Krulney was betrayed by someone he trusted—nothing more. Also, the alias Krulney used was Michael Shaw. If he used that credit card, he would definitely use this name.”

Though talking on the phone, Gao Yang couldn’t help but nod, saying softly, “Another inside informant. Alright, we’ll go to Amsterdam to take a look.”

Justin chuckled and said softly, “Buddy, don’t say I didn’t warn you. The person providing the intel trusts me because of my solid reputation, and I trust you deeply. What we’re conducting here is a business fully built on personal credibility. I hope you understand that establishing someone’s reputation is never easy. So, if this piece of information proves useful, don’t forget to pay up.”

Gao Yang also laughed and said, “No need for reminders. We will verify the authenticity of this intel. If it’s true and it helps us locate Krulney, I’ll pay. One million US dollars.”

After ending the call and hanging up, Gao Yang grabbed a pen and paper, wrote down the name “Michael Shaw,” and said softly, “We’ve tracked down some clues, but there’s still a lot of follow-up work to be done. Jansen, are there any hotels near that restaurant? Specifically, luxury hotels.”

Jansen turned his laptop toward Gao Yang and said sheepishly, “Plenty. Within a 20-minute walking radius, there are seven hotels, three of which are luxury ones. Expanding the distance to accessible by car or public transport within twenty minutes, there are over forty hotels. If we extend the time frame to thirty minutes, then there’s exactly one hundred hotels.”

Gao Yang shook his head and replied, “Forget about it for now. Going to Amsterdam and locating that window girl may yield faster answers.”

After finishing his statement, Gao Yang said gravely, “Wait a moment. I’ll make another call. Now that we know where Krulney departed from in America, perhaps that place is also where he settled his family.”

The real gain from the conversation with Justin was discovering where Krulney’s hometown was and identifying his exact point of departure. It’s highly likely that Atlanta is where Krulney arranged for his family to stay.

Gao Yang called Morgan. Once Morgan answered, Gao Yang said gravely, “Any progress on that matter?”

“Tomler’s family has already been brought under control, but it hasn’t produced any notable effects. The people I sent to handle this didn’t receive much feedback, meaning Tomler’s family might not be highly valued. As for Krulney’s side, we still haven’t found where he hid his family.”

“The latest intel I received indicates that Krulney’s hometown is a satellite city of Atlanta called Douglasville. When he left, he flew from Atlanta under the alias Michael Shaw.”

Morgan said softly, “Hold on, let me write this down. With these details, we might be able to locate Krulney’s family. That said, in recent days, the people I sent have largely grasped the situation. Outside of Little Donnie’s house, there are about twelve people who are likely Krulney’s men. Even if we forcibly escort Little Donnie’s family away, their safety can still be secured.”

Morgan was indeed reliable. Gao Yang enthusiastically raised his hand and exclaimed, “Thank you! I knew entrusting you with this would be fine. But do you think it’s better to wait a bit longer? Here’s the thing: I’ve uncovered some clues that Krulney might be in Amsterdam. I plan to visit Amsterdam first. If we can locate Krulney there, we can act simultaneously on both ends and resolve everything in one fell swoop.”

Morgan said thoughtfully, “In our previous plan, the idea was to control Krulney’s family in order to ensure Little Donnie’s family could safely leave. However, doing so would inevitably alarm Krulney, forcing him to leave his hiding spot, thereby giving you the chance to locate him. If you intend to revise the plan, then we better coordinate the timing carefully and act in unison. You handle Krulney in Europe, while I assist you in uprooting his power here.”

Gao Yang exhaled and said, “That’s the best option. However, we need to confirm that Krulney is indeed in Amsterdam. If we don’t find him, then you all should act first over there. Currently, Little Donnie is like bait, but I don’t want him to remain in danger. Let’s all act as quickly as possible.”

Morgan chuckled, “What we’re discussing hinges on one crucial foundation: that Krulney truly hid his family in Atlanta. Without that, everything we’ve talked about is meaningless. Alright, I’ll immediately assign people to get to work—you do the same on your end.”

Gao Yang hung up the phone and said to Eileen, “Go bring everyone in; we need to take action.”

Eileen called out, and the team gathered again in Gao Yang’s room. He pointed at the computer and said softly, “We need to go to Amsterdam. Krulney has appeared there before, and there’s a chance he’s still there. We need to conduct an investigation in person.”

Finally, there was news, and everyone was excited. Glolov pumped his fist and shouted, “End this as quickly as possible so the days of living in fear can be over. What’s the plan? Do we need a full-on assault?”

Gao Yang smiled wryly and replied, “We’ll decide the specific action plan later. Right now, the main task is to pinpoint exactly where Krulney is. The intel we’ve got isn’t detailed enough, so we need to scout for ourselves. Here’s my plan: most of us have met Krulney before. If we all show up unannounced, it’s highly likely we’ll be spotted by him. Therefore, we need people who haven’t met Krulney yet to handle the scouting.”

The individuals who hadn’t met Krulney in person were Taylor and Albert. Gao Yang pointed at Taylor and Albert and said softly, “The two of you will go to Amsterdam. Additionally, Tyrannosaurus is going.”

Krulney had seen Eileen before, but with a change of outfit even Satan’s insiders couldn’t recognize her, let alone Krulney. So, Eileen had to go as well. After all, while Taylor and Albert hadn’t met Krulney, only Eileen could identify him.

After arranging the personnel, Gao Yang waved his hand and said, “I’ll go too, but when it comes to situations requiring direct involvement, such as close reconnaissance, it’s up to you three to step in. Alright, let’s set out for Amsterdam immediately.” (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, feel free to visit Qidian (qidian.com) to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets.
