Chapter 620: Chapter 393 This Is the Sassiest (2nd Update)
Under the gaze of three mechas, the Extreme Special Soldier gently pulled out the long spear that had been stabbed into the giant tree.
The alternating breath of ice and fire flowed in the crystal-like spear body as if it had life.
“Match weapon power locked at 20%, activate FI phase force field.”
As Mu Fan lightly touched the control console, a voice reminder echoed in the cockpit.
Mu Fan took a deep breath, his right hand sliding into the limb coordination device and gently pushed it forward.
The Extreme Special Soldier raised the spear with one hand, pointing the tip directly at the opposing orange-red Heavy Mecha, and a tangible ball of flame began to ignite at the tip of the spear.
But no matter how you looked at it, this scene was somewhat eerie.
The black mecha was less than one third the size of the Molten Rock Heavy Strike, yet its presence completely suppressed the opponent.
Seeing this, the pilot inside the Thunderfire Storm mecha couldn’t hold back any longer and angrily said, “You piece of junk, get moving! If you don’t have your hammer, ram him flat, don’t just stand there like an idiot! Damn it, how did we get stuck with a brainless fool like you?”
The cursing voice didn’t spare the teammate’s feelings in the slightest.
At this point, the pilot named Noggo seemed to finally realize what was happening.
The huge mecha gripped the half iron rod in its hand and charged towards Mu Fan with clumsy steps.
“I… really, without your hammer, you can’t pilot a mecha anymore?” The voice of frustration echoed, lamenting the choice of this brainless but strong and loyal subordinate who had no other redeeming qualities.
“Damn it, if you don’t crush him to death, you might as well die!”
With a final harsh curse, the Thunder Fire War God returned their focus to the Original Crystal Warrior in front of them.
The orange-red Molten Rock Heavy Strike mecha rushed forward without a word, and with the hammer gone, it moved a fraction faster, its terrifying momentum truly astonishing.
Mu Fan squinted at the mecha rushing madly towards him and operated with his left hand.
“Match weapon power locked at 10%.”
The Meteor 3 engine’s energy output to Flame Rain Frost Blue was instantaneously reduced to a tenth.
Under the current conditions, this mecha body definitely couldn’t activate the Time Tide in its full state again, but Mu Fan had his reasons for reducing the power from 20% to 10%.
He didn’t want to kill the pilot inside the mecha he faced, so he halved the already restricted weapon’s energy output again.
The audience aboard the Sky Mother Ship only saw the aura around Flame Rain Frost Blue intensify in an instant, the long spear turning exceptionally brilliant!
The aura around it, like flames and frostfire, almost materialized, completely covering the spear from the tip to the handle.
The mixed flames entirely concealed the original appearance of the long spear and then began to spread to the arm.
The right hand gripped the spear handle tightly, twisted it inwards, and then thrust it forward as the engine at the back fiercely pressurized and ejected.
The black Extreme Special Soldier, maintaining a thrusting stance, surged forward with a fading afterimage.
Weapon Skill—Time Tide!
This time, there was no metallic cutting sound like the last attack, only a faint sizzling.
The frost blue aura at the base of the spear came to life, surging forward, while the flame red color was all pushed into the tip of the spear, and then the frost blue completely overtook the long spear.
Both mechas’ movements froze simultaneously, the Molten Rock Heavy Strike mecha raising its half-metal rod as if to smash down, but the smaller Extreme Special Soldier was to the right side of the orange-red mecha.
The long spear, now completely transformed into frost blue, entered halfway into the Heavy Mecha.
Crack, crack, crack.
Ice blossoms began to spread from Flame Rain Frost Blue onto the Molten Rock Heavy Strike, and the area near the penetration quickly turned frost blue.
But upon closer inspection, the spear seemed to intentionally avoid the cockpit, instead piercing directly beneath it and through the engine at the rear.
The Extreme Special Soldier gently twisted its right hand, transferring the phase force field!
A sudden spark of flame red appeared at the tip of the spear, then swiftly spread back across the entire spear as Flame Rain Frost Blue was lightning-fast pulled out by the Extreme Special Soldier.
The freshly turned frost blue wound encountered an instant burst of heat, and the Molten Rock Armor seemed to have completely lost its vitality under this pure temperature.
Amidst the cracking sounds, the waist of the Molten Rock Heavy Strike mecha shattered into a cloud of icy mist.
The upper half of the giant mecha crashed to the ground with a thud, just like the previous Heavy Hammer, less than thirty meters apart; only the two sturdy legs remained standing in place.
With a hum, the phase force field on Flame Rain Frost Blue shut off, and the intense aura returned to normal.
Flame Rain Frost Blue once again transformed into the appearance of a beautiful piece of art, but the sight of the mecha split into two by a single shot could only provoke a chilling feeling.
The great commotion of the upper half of Molten Rock Heavy Strike hitting the ground likewise drew the attention of two Mechas engaged in fierce combat.
A dark Extreme Special Soldier held a long spear upside down as it stood silently amid the colossal wreckage, emanating an indescribable eeriness.
“Noggo? Noggo!… As expected, total garbage.”
After roaring twice and detecting no response, Thunderfire Storm cursed under his breath before firing again.
Holding up an Original Crystal Force Field with both hands to block the onslaught of electromagnetic wave bombs, Macka swallowed nervously within the cockpit, his eyes unable to believe what he saw—the dismembered Molten Rock Heavy Strike.
Was it that easy to take down the Heavy Hammer Mecha?
Macka hadn’t noticed how the Extreme Special Soldier dodged the “Earthshaking” attack, but he had clearly seen the scene of a single shot ending the Mecha.
The opponent’s Molten Rock Armor, which seemed incredibly resistant to Macka, was utterly ineffective. That guy’s long spear…
All of a sudden, Macka’s eyes gleamed green, the irresistible expression of a scientist beholding a piece of cutting-edge technology from an era beyond.
This Extreme Special Soldier was all high technology—this was serendipity at its finest.
Thinking this, the silver Original Crystal Warrior, propping himself with one hand on a force field, raised his right hand and gave a thumbs up.
“Experiencing this in person is far more shocking than seeing it from afar. Impressive! Thanks, brother, I owe you a big favor!”
Mu Fan first checked the half-destroyed Mecha Body at his feet, ensuring that the miniature version of Time Tide hadn’t reached the cockpit, before he looked towards the Original Crystal Warrior, who stood alone holding up a force field against the opponent’s cannon fire.
Seeing that casually confident posture, Mu Fan couldn’t help but furrow his brow; the toughness of that Mecha was ridiculously exaggerated—it’s no wonder it was called a turtle shell.
Hearing Macka’s words of praise, the Extreme Special Soldier didn’t make any extra movement, merely shifting its arm slightly so that Flame Rain Frost Blue pointed towards the Thunderfire Storm, eyes resting on the Original Crystal Warrior.
A calm voice asked, “Do you need help with that Mecha?”
“Thanks, brother, no need, I’ll handle this Mecha myself! Qi Fire Military Industry is my sworn enemy; it’s more satisfying to handle it personally,” Macka replied with a hearty laugh.
MD!
The face of the Mechanical Master of the Thunder Fire War God turned as red as if it had been scorched by fire, almost exploding in anger.
The sound of the slap to their pride echoed loudly. What exactly did they take themselves for in the eyes of the other?
Merely a piece of ore to be picked and chosen at whim?
“Alright. Then I have my own tasks to attend to. If you don’t need help, I’ll be off,” said the Extreme Special Soldier coolly.
“Yeah, take care. We can talk details after the match is over. Stay safe!”
The Extreme Special Soldier nodded and then, holding the long spear…
left the lakeside area directly.
Only two Mechas remained locked in a standstill.
“Macka, you’re truly courting death!” The sound from inside the Thunder Fire War God was noticeably distorted with agitation.
“Hmph, without that Heavy Hammer Mecha as a distraction, did you think I would be afraid of you?”
The semi-transparent discs in both hands expanded rapidly, and with a crossing of his arms, he threw them forward, plunging back into the fierce combat between the two Mechas.
Seeing the Extreme Special Soldier knock out a super-heavy Mecha and then drift away, spectators were left with their mouths agape.
Next to Harry, a black-clothed fat man wearing little sunglasses excitedly shouted, “This is the sauciest! This damn sharpshooting is just like the snake vendor at the door of my house!”
The chubby Harry silently glanced at the black-clothed fat man, whose linguistic prowess had reached Max level, then exchanged a look with White Hair.
A mysterious smile appeared on White Hair’s face; he casually flipped his proud hairstyle and gave the fat man a confirming gaze!
Encouraged, the fat man’s cheeks turned a flushed red with excitement, and he stood up to yell loudly, “Extreme Special Soldier—invincible! Our slogan is—”
White Hair stood up excitedly, waving a large flag he’d pulled from somewhere, then took out a megaphone from somewhere else and put it to his mouth.
The earth-shattering words instantly quieted a whole section of the crowd, leaving half the stadium—including Harry and the black-clothed fat man—in a stunned silence:
“Damn, that’s awesome!”
