Mated To The Cruel Prince -
Chapter 538: Blue Balls
Chapter 538: Blue Balls
Islinda jolted from her sleep, her heart pounding as she sat up abruptly, her breath coming in short gasps. Her wide eyes scanned the room, searching for any sign of Aldric, but she was met only with emptiness. She was alone.
As the fog of sleep began to dissipate, confusion and shock flooded Islinda’s mind. What in the Fae just happened? The memory of her encounter with Aldric swirled in her mind, fragmented and disjointed. His touch, his words, his intensity – it all felt like a hazy dream, yet the lingering sensation of his presence lingered in the air. She ran a trembling hand through her disheveled hair, trying to piece together the events of the night.
The haze of desire and passion that had enveloped Islinda dissipated, leaving her feeling disoriented and alone in the silence of her room. She blinked, trying to shake off the remnants of the intoxicating experience, but the memories clung to her mind like a bittersweet echo.
Had it all been real, or merely a figment of her imagination? The touch of Aldric’s lips, the intensity of his gaze, the overwhelming surge of emotions – they felt so vivid, so tangible, yet now they seemed to slip through her fingers like wisps of smoke.
Beads of sweat formed on Islinda’s forehead, glistening in the dim light of her room, as the air around her grew increasingly hot and suffocating. She sat there, still trying to process the events of the night, her heart pounding in her chest.
It finally dawned on her that her startling encounter with Aldric seemed to have been nothing more than a dream, a vivid and tantalizing illusion that had left her breathless. Yet, despite the realization that it had all been a trick of her mind, Islinda couldn’t shake the lingering effects it had left on her.
The ache of longing mixed with fear still gnawed at her heart, leaving her feeling raw and vulnerable. But there was a much more pressing problem at hand: Islinda was horny as hell.
As she shifted uncomfortably in bed, the undeniable ache of desire pulsed through her body, leaving her feeling restless and on edge. It was as if the dream had awakened something within her, igniting a fire that now burned fiercely in her veins.
With a frustrated groan, Islinda buried her face in her hands, trying to quell the rising tide of desire that threatened to consume her. Leave it to that bastard Aldric to walk into her dream and seduce her and now hung her out to dry.
Islinda had always been aware of Aldric’s formidable powers, his ability to get into her head and manipulate her reality, bending it to his will. But the idea that he could infiltrate her dreams from a distance was a sobering realization that sent shivers down her spine. It was one thing to face him in the physical realm, where she could at least attempt to defend herself, but to have him invade her most private thoughts and emotions from afar was a whole other level of violation. It left her feeling vulnerable and exposed.
Aldric mentioned something about "connection", which means something must have tethered him to her in the first place. Islinda sighed heavily. Why now of all times? If she were a male, Islinda mused, it would be safe to say that she had metaphorical "blue balls" from Aldric’s teasing and subsequent departure. The irony of the situation wasn’t lost on her, and she would be chuckling at the absurdity of it all if the situation wasn’t so serious.
Islinda’s thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sudden intrusion of Valerie bursting through her door. Startled, she turned her attention towards him, her mouth slightly agape in surprise. But any words she had intended to speak died on her lips when she saw the look of panic etched on his face and the concern in his eyes.
Before Islinda could even gather her thoughts or inquire about what had prompted his sudden entrance, Valerie was already by her side. His hands gently cupped her cheeks, his touch both comforting and urgent as he checked her for any signs of injury. For a moment, Islinda was taken aback by the unexpected tenderness in Valerie’s actions.
"Valerie...." Islinda whispered softly at first, her voice barely audible above the sound of her racing heartbeat. But when he tossed aside the covers and his movements became more frantic, Islinda’s tone shifted to one of urgency. "Valerie!" she yelped, her voice rising in alarm as she realized the extent of his distress. His hands were moving quickly, checking her body for any signs of harm or distress.
He finally seemed to snap out of it, their eyes meeting and holding in a moment of shared understanding. With a mixture of relief and concern evident in his expression, he cupped both of her cheeks gently, his touch grounding and reassuring. Pressing his forehead to hers, he let out a sigh, the tension slowly dissipating from his frame as he sought solace.
Valerie’s voice quivered as he spoke, his eyes tightly shut as if trying to block out the imagined horrors. "I heard your scream from my room and I thought.... I thought he...." His words trailed off, choked by the fear that gripped his heart. But Islinda understood the unspoken fear that lingered in the air. He thought Aldric had captured her.
"I’m fine. It was just a dream," Islinda reassured him, her voice hoarse with emotion.
Valerie finally opened his eyes and held Islinda’s gaze with such intensity that it felt almost suffocating. His hand moved tenderly to stroke her cheek, the gesture filled with affection and concern.
"I thought he harmed you," he confessed in a low tone, his voice heavy with emotion.
Oh, Aldric did harm her, just not in the way that Valerie could possibly fathom. Islinda mused and was unable to stop the blush that appeared on her cheeks. If Valerie saw the blush, he said nothing, probably assuming he had elicited it. Nonetheless, it was better he thought that way than knowing his brother walked into her unconscious and ate her out so intensely she might never recover from it.
