Mated To The Cruel Prince
Chapter 533: Perverse Enjoyment

Chapter 533: Perverse Enjoyment

It was Aldric. The one and only dark Fae Prince. Her captor and master. And he was looming over her.

Islinda’s heart pounded in her chest as she let out a choked whimper, her body tensing with fear. What in the Fae was going on? Her mind raced with questions, confusion clouding her thoughts. What was Aldric doing here? How did he even find her? Didn’t Maxi assure her that she had three more days of rest? What has happened?

Islinda’s mind was a whirlwind of questions, each one intensifying the fear that washed over her like a tidal wave. As she gazed into Aldric’s fiendish face, her heart seemed to stop beating for a moment. His smile, deadly and predatory, sent shivers down her spine, leaving her feeling trapped and vulnerable. In that moment, it was as if she were prey, cornered by a relentless predator, and the realization of her peril sent a chill coursing through her veins.

As Islinda’s senses returned, her survival instincts kicked in, and she

mustered the strength to scream. However, before the sound could escape her lips, Aldric swiftly cupped his hand over her mouth, stifling her attempt.

Panic surged through her as she struggled against his grip, her eyes wide with terror as she realized the direness of her situation. Unable to call for help, she felt a sense of helplessness engulfing her as Aldric’s presence loomed over her, his grip firm and unyielding.

Aldric’s sinister grin deepened as he delivered his ominous message, his words dripping with malice. "Valerie is asleep in the next room," he taunted, his voice a cold whisper that sent a chill down Islinda’s spine. "You wouldn’t want to wake him, would you?"

Islinda’s heart sank as she realized the gravity of her situation. Only Valerie could potentially save her now, but would his strength and compassion be enough to overcome Aldric’s ruthlessness?

With a sense of hopelessness washing over her, Islinda’s glare bore into Aldric, defiance shining in her eyes despite the futility of her situation. Determined to fight back, she attempted to scream, but Aldric’s palm smothered any sound before it could escape her lips. Frustration boiled within her, fueling her persistence to resist.

In a desperate act of defiance, she sank her teeth into Aldric’s hand, hoping to elicit some reaction, some sign of vulnerability. Yet, to her dismay, instead of flinching from the pain, Aldric laughed, his expression twisted into one of perverse enjoyment, reveling in her defiance and the sensation of pain she inflicted upon him.

With a twisted amusement, Aldric taunted Islinda, his voice laced with mockery. "Bite me deeper and you would wound me," he remarked, a smirk playing on his lips. "You should have just told me you thirst for my blood, little human."

As the thought of taking Aldric’s blood crossed her mind, Islinda was surprised by the dark thrill that rushed through her veins. However, it was the shock of the situation that ultimately made her release her bite. Despite the dark allure, she couldn’t bring herself to succumb to such a sinister temptation. She would not taste the blood of that monster.

Aldric’s victorious grin widened as he sensed the fight draining from Islinda’s body, his eyes gleaming with triumph. Despite the intensity of her glare, he remained unfazed, relishing in his perceived victory over her.

With a chilling command, he asserted his authority over her, "I would let go and you would not scream."

He added, his words laden with both veiled threats and false civility. "Not that I wouldn’t mind some company in the name of my brother..." His voice took on a grave and slightly ominous tone, hinting at the potential consequences of defiance. "But I’m sure you wouldn’t want a bloodshed, and we can settle this amicably."

Islinda’s resolve wavered at the ominous threat, her complexion paling as she considered the implications. She couldn’t bear the thought of endangering Valerie or anyone else in the household. Islinda had contemplated the possibility of this very scenario—Aldric breaking free from his cell and coming for her. And now, faced with the choice between potential bloodshed and ensuring Valerie’s safety, she knew what she had to do. With a heavy heart and a sense of resignation, Islinda conceded.

Aldric’s eyes glinted with satisfaction as he observed the defeat in Islinda’s demeanor, his lips curling into a satisfied smile at her compliance. With cautious deliberation, he released his grip, and Islinda remained silent, her acquiescence evident. "Good girl," he remarked with a smirk, his hand reaching out to run through her hair in a gesture that felt both patronizing and possessive.

Islinda fought to suppress the shiver that coursed through her at Aldric’s touch, the conflicting sensations of pleasure and revulsion warring within her. How could a monster be capable of such ruthlessness yet exhibit moments of unexpected tenderness? Aldric’s demeanor was a labyrinth of contradictions, each face he wore more bewildering than the last. Islinda found herself questioning which version of Aldric was the truest reflection of his nature —a question that left her feeling even more unsettled and uncertain in his presence.

Despite the intensity of her anger towards Aldric, Islinda couldn’t deny the luxuriant sensation of his hand threading through her hair. It was as if Aldric could sense her enjoyment, his concentration unwavering as he continued the motion. Part of her longed to surrender to the comforting feeling, to let herself be engulfed by the momentary respite from the turmoil around her. Yet, Islinda resisted, refusing to betray the depth of her animosity towards him with a display of pleasure. No amount of soothing gestures could absolve Aldric of the wrongs he had committed, and Islinda remained steadfast in her resolve to confront him, even as his touch threatened to weaken her resolve.

"What do you want, Aldric? Have you come to take me back to your prison?" Islinda’s voice rang out with force, a growl underlying her words as she confronted him head-on
