Mated To The Cruel Prince
Chapter 516: Pregnant For The Dark Lord

Chapter 516: Pregnant For The Dark Lord

Islinda slowly regained consciousness, only to find herself surrounded by utter darkness, disoriented and unsure of her surroundings. Confusion clouded her mind as she tried to piece together where she was and how she got there. As if some forces were at work, the thick darkness receded and gradually, her senses sharpened, the details of her environment emerging from the shadows.

As her vision adjusted to the dim light, Islinda’s eyes widened in realization. She wasn’t in a familiar place at all. Instead, she found herself standing outside a prison cell, the cold metal bars casting eerie shadows in the darkness. Inside the cell, a figure sat hunched over, barely visible in the dim light.

Recognition struck Islinda like a bolt of lightning as she stared at the figure within the cell. It was the same demon she had encountered in her previous vision, the one that had filled her with dread. A surge of fear and frustration washed over her as she groaned aloud, the weight of déjà vu pressing down on her.

"Not again," Islinda muttered to herself, her voice echoing faintly in the silent darkness. Despite her efforts to escape the clutches of this mysterious entity, Islinda found herself once again confronted by its menacing presence. With a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, Islinda braced herself for whatever twisted revelation awaited her this time.

In the eerie stillness of the space, Islinda’s apprehension mingled with a faint sense of reassurance that this encounter was merely a dream or vision. Yet, the nagging question lingered: why was she experiencing these vivid scenes?

As Islinda pondered the inexplicable nature of her visions, it began to dawn on her. This couldn’t be solely about her. There had to be a deeper connection, a reason why she was privy to these visions that concerned a Succubus demon and the Night Court lord that should have been dead centuries ago.

Andre said her memories were locked, could it be her mother had planted them? But why? Also, how did her mother get to know all of this? It was as if the memories were obscured by layers of mystery and uncertainty. Islinda was beginning to get dizzy.

With a sense of determination to unravel the truth, Islinda rose to her feet and approached the prison cell, her curiosity piqued by the presence of the demon within. If this was indeed a glimpse into the past, then it was no wonder that the light Faeries wanted nothing with the dark faeries, abhorring their ways. The notion that a powerful figure from the Night Court, a lord no less, would seek to mate with a demon seemed unfathomable to Islinda. The thought alone sent a shiver down her spine, the implications of such a union too disturbing to fully comprehend.

Despite the innate fear of the demon, Islinda still summoned the courage to approach the cell. Peering inside, what she saw shattered her heart. The Succubus, once a vision of beauty, now appeared as a mere shadow of herself. Her once lustrous blonde hair was now dull and lifeless, her frame gaunt and twice its normal size, burdened by heavy shackles that seemed to weigh her down despite her demonic strength.

Her complexion was pallid, drained of color, and her lips cracked and dry. Islinda couldn’t hold back the tears streaming down her cheeks. Why were they subjecting her to such cruelty? Islinda bore great resentment towards the Night Court lord and his followers.

They never should have summoned her here in the first place. She belonged in her own realm, thriving and powerful, not weakened and confined in this foreign place. Each moment spent here without a tether drained her strength and diminished her powers. They were weakening her, subjecting her to this torment for no reason. Islinda was consumed with anger, so much so that she snapped out of her thoughts with a startled gasp. What was she saying? Everything she thought so far, she was referring to the demon, not herself. what was happening to her? Confusion and unease filled Islinda.

As if that was not enough, her eyes locked with the piercing red orbs of the demon before her. A shiver ran down her spine, paralyzing her in place. It seemed as though the demon could peer into the depths of her being, into her soul, freezing her with its gaze. This no longer felt like an ordinary dream – it felt all too real, too vivid to be a mere figment of her imagination. Yet, the intensity of that moment made her question the boundaries between reality and the dream.

A sense of dread washed over her and Islinda was already thinking of a way to remove herself from this nightmare when the door to the prison opened and Islinda realized that was what the demon had been staring at all along. She must have sensed Fae’s arrival. Thank the gods, a great relief washed over Islinda.

The Night Court lord arrived and whatever relief Islinda felt was gone at that instant. The ominous air that saturated the room at that moment told Islinda that this couldn’t be good. Even without the stories of his atrocities, Islinda did not like the Fae.

The Night Court lord did not come alone, along with him was his second in command, the one who had brutally murdered the witch and he brought along a female. A dark Fae at the looks of the runes plastered across her arms. Islinda frowned at the sight of the dark Fae, having an inkling she was about to be sacrificed for the demon. Islinda’s stomach churned, she hated this senseless killing.

The second in command opened the cell door for the Night Court lord to go in and even at that the demon did not react to his presence. It pleased Islinda to know that the demon still retained her arrogance.

"You look good, Azula." The Night Court lord said to the demon.

"Huh, Azula?" Islinda muttered. Was that the demon’s name? She wondered.

That was indeed its name because the demon lifted her head at that moment and stared at the Night Court Lord with so much loathing in her eyes, that Islinda knew deep down that the fae lord was as good as dead once the demon got out of here.

"Do you miss me?" She taunted him, a glint in her eyes.

Islinda did not understand why she was rooting for the demon. However, she was proud Azula did not let the Night Court Lord break her spirit.

"You still have a lord of energy, I thought you would be starving by now." The Night Court lord retorted, subtly gesturing to his second in command who shoved the female-forward and she stumbled into the cell.

The Fae shuddered with fear, looking around the cell with wide eyes knowing deep down that her life was going to end here.

"We brought you a meal, you must feel grateful, right?" His second in command sneered, laughing at the demon mockingly.

Islinda did not know it, but she balled her hands into fists at the same time as the demon. Once she got out of here, that idiot would be the first one to die. She would pull his tongue right out of his throat.

Azula rose from the ground, her expression unreadable. She drawled, "Indeed. I’m grateful. Perhaps then, you can release me."

The second in command laughed, "My lord, the bitch...." He trailed off, abruptly cut off by the Night Court lord with a gesture of his hand.

"That’s enough." The Fae lord commanded him. His attention was solely on the demon. "Does it mean that you are ready to mate with me, Azula?" He inquired.

Azula laughed, "I told you, if you want your army of superior younglings, you would have to force yourself on me."

The Night Court lord laughed this time before his expression became cold. He said, "But that’s not the case, is it? I cannot get you pregnant if I have you against your will."

Azula let out a menacing smirk in acknowledgment. Islinda had no idea how she got the information but it suddenly came to her. Azula, with a powerful and cunning mind, was in complete control during the mating process. She possessed the ability to manipulate fertilization and the eggs within her body, giving her the authority to decide whether or not to become pregnant.

This decision was not left up to chance or the whim of her partner but was entirely within her own power and discretion. With calculated intent, Azula would choose to conceive and carry a child, knowing the potential power and advantage it could bring. This act of control exemplified every demon’s dominance and cunning nature, ensuring that their offspring would be born into a world where they held all power and authority.

Islinda wanted badly to laugh at the situation. It had crossed her mind that the Fae lord might have Azula against her will, after all, he was capable of many evil. However, fate seems to be on Azula’s side. No wonder the Night Court lord still kept her alive even though she was proving to be stubborn.

He needed to convince her to have his children.
