"Its name is Yizi." Mu Lin introduced with a gentle smile, her demeanor radiating an air of serenity.

"Yizi." Looking at Yizi, Quan Luo curiously took a step forward, "Sister Mu Lin, did you name it Yizi because its eyes are silver?" He then turned to look at Mu Lin.

Mu Lin: "Roughly so." After all, the name Yizi is similar to that of Qiaozi.

The name Qiaozi is derived from the name of a traditional Chinese medicine, whereas Yizi, more or less, is named after its eye color. After all, compared to Hongzi, Yizi does have a better ring to it.

"Its eyes are really beautiful." They shone brightly, similar to the beautiful, silvery moonlight, "But why does it seem a bit listless?" It appeared rather languid.

Gong Yu sat down on a stone bench nearby, closely observing Yizi; she no longer seemed frightened.

This girl was quite gutsy, considering that it was a snake she was dealing with.

Mu Lin stretched out her hand and teased Yizi’s head, "It’s probably because Qiaozi’s not here, so it’s not used to it." Weren’t these two always together until recently? Now that it was left alone, there was no one to keep it company, love and fight with it. She wondered whether Qiaozi felt lonely too.

Uncle Qiaozi, however, made it clear that he did not feel lonely at all; there were plenty of people in the army willing to play with him.

"Who is Qiaozi?" Gong Yu was intrigued by Mu Lin’s words, "Is it also a snake?"

"No." Mu Lin shook her head, "Qiaozi is a sea eagle."

"Sea eagle!" Hawks were natural enemies of snakes, "Sister, are you saying that you’re keeping a snake and a sea eagle together..." Was she joking? She was genuinely impressed that the snake was still alive. It had indeed demonstrated a phenomenal will to survive.

Mu Lin: "They have an excellent relationship." So excellent, in fact, that sometimes she could only stand by and watch their antics.

However, immediately after Mu Lin finished speaking, Yizi protested.

It had absolutely no fondness for that damn dirty bird. If it could, it would poison it to death.

"It does seem very intelligent." Looking at Yizi, the love in both their eyes was palpable. It even knew how to protest.

From the interaction between Yizi and Mu Lin, they could tell that Yizi wouldn’t attack people without reason.

Gong Yu reached out to touch the red part on the top of Yizi’s head. Yizi just gave her a glance with its silver eyes without moving at all.

It remembered her - she was apparently its master’s sister. Given the circumstances, it decided to show mercy and let her touch it. Yizi wouldn’t bite those whom Mu Lin approved of.

Yizi’s fulfilling pretentiousness was on par with Qiaozi, they were cut from the same cloth.

"It feels a bit rough." The touch was a bit different from what she expected. Gong Yu referred to the middle part of Yizi’s head. She felt that Mu Lin’s snake was not like other common snakes; it was more beautiful.

Hearing this, Mu Lin just chuckled and didn’t respond. Looking at them, she said, "Right, what did you two want to tell me just now?" She recalled that they were supposed to tell her about some ’important issue’. Why were they now completely engrossed with Yizi?

"Oh yes." Remembering Mu Lin’s question, Gong Yu managed to get back on track, "Almost forgot the main topic." That was a close call.

"Sister, do you know about a game?" After a pause, Gong Yu asked.

Mu Lin: "What game?" She didn’t play games.

"This one." Gong Yu pulled out a mobile phone from somewhere and handed it to Mu Lin, who unlocked it.

Looking at the contents on the screen, Mu Lin frowned, "Midnight 24:30! You’re also playing this game?" This was not a good game.

To tell the truth, Mu Lin did have some recollection of this game, after all she had once witnessed it.

"No." Gong Yu hurriedly shook her head, "This is a phone that somebody gave me yesterday. It belonged to Gong Ning. She’s no more... As I knew the password, I opened it to look inside." She wanted to see if there were any secrets in Gong Ning’s phone.

And then... She would never have known had she not looked. "Sister, did you know that a while back this game was extremely popular in our school? A lot of people died. Most of them were girls; it practically caused a panic in the school. And the culprit behind all that was her." It turned out that it was orchestrated by Gong Ning.

That woman... to put it bluntly, deserved to die.

She took the data from Quan Luo and continued, "I also found these in her room. It seems like these are the details of everybody in this group. The ones who are marked are already dead." So, the unmarked ones were probably still playing the game.

"We know many of the people on the list." They were from their own school.

Mu Lin took the data and reviewed it carefully before handing it to Jing Chen. His forehead was furrowed.

"I did encounter it before." Mu Lin pulled out one of the files, "This girl, I once saw her on a plane." She casually placed the file on the stone table, "As I recall, her task was to die together with the captain on the plane."

"She was absurdly dedicated." Mu Lin sneered, "Or perhaps I should say, she was completely brainwashed." She actually didn’t expect Gong Ning to have such ’capabilities’.

"You’ve never told me about this." Jing Chen looked at Mu Lin. Was this his way of expressing dissatisfaction...?

Mu Lin: "It has passed, it was a minor incident."

"Actually, some people are brainwashed, but some are forced." Gong Yu said, "If you don’t follow the instructions of the leaders in this group, your family will be the ones to suffer the consequences."
