Chapter 707: Chapter 467: Mr. Jing expresses helplessness (Triple update)_1

She really couldn’t tell now; whether these people wanted to live or to die; if it was the latter, she was more than willing to assist.

That was indeed a genuine statement from her.

"Do I need to remind you again?" The man’s voice continued, icy cold, extraordinarily bloodthirsty.

With a "bang", a bullet shot straight up, breaking a railing made of glass on the roof. The shards of glass fell downwards, producing a clear sound as they hit the ground.

"Don’t try anything stupid." On the other end of the phone, the voice was slightly frantic. He believed that the lunatic on the other end was capable of committing heinous acts. After all, he had already done so once.

Even though they had brought the person being demanded, they were still at a disadvantage. It was indeed a frustrating situation.

"As long as you return my elder brother to me, I assure you I won’t do anything reckless." At some point, his gaze had returned to Mu Lin, "Don’t you agree?" He asked, his tone hinting both amusement and seriousness, as though he was seeking Mu Lin’s opinion.

Mu Lin looked at him coldly, raised an eyebrow, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

However, the coldness in Mu Lin’s eyes seemed to be an aphrodisiac to the man, making him feel like his blood was boiling.

The girl before him was like a ferocious wolf difficult to tame; and he, would become the hunter in the future taming this wild wolf. The mere thought of this sent a thrill through the man, feeding his excitement.

At this moment, the air grew silent. After a long pause, the other party finally, and could only agree, "Okay, I agree. Open the door." After saying this, he casually beckoned two people standing nearby. Then, restraining the man next to him, "When half of the people inside come out, you guys send him in." Now, they could only proceed to the next step.

Suddenly, Ying Sun’s team received another call from the person in charge, wondering if they had entered.

"Yes." Both of them nodded solemnly, promptly restraining the man. He scoffed coldly, but seemed remarkably compliant.

However, this compliance was only temporary. Once he broke free, he would make them pay a huge price; the hostages inside were part of that price.

At least for a while, more than half of the people inside would be the "gift" he returned to them.

If he could pull it off.

"Got it." Hearing the instructions, the man’s eyes grazed over Mu Lin’s face, then he signaled to the two men nearby. His warning echoed, "Later, if anyone tries to rush towards any other exit without my permission, don’t blame me for being rude."

As his last word fell, a resounding "bang" was heard, sending tremors through everyone, "This is just a warning. So, don’t make me angry, or the consequences will be something you don’t want to see." He believed they were all intelligent people, except for the girl before him.

Although, he preferred the less smart ones.

As he said this, his gaze landed on Mu Lin again, as though those words were solely meant for her.

Mu Lin raised her eyebrows but didn’t say anything.

Presumably, she had unceremoniously ignored his words. Because with their shooting skills, they really couldn’t handle her.

The next moment, the gate was slowly opened. Not the one behind Mu Lin, but one farther away from them. Although they wanted to rush out, the sight of armed men on both sides of the gate caused everyone to walk out calmly, not daring to push or shove, even though they could barely control themselves.

Not until more than half of the people had rushed out, were the rest stopped in their tracks. Of course, some recklessly attempted to run out, but the consequences were predictable.

Bullets, after all, do not have eyes.

Screams once again rang out.

"You..." Hearing the sound, the person in charge outside was filled with rage, wanting to scold them; but he was interrupted, "You can’t blame me; I did give a warning." He scoffed coldly, his voice chilling, "Okay, I’ve fulfilled my promises. Now it’s your turn. Let my brother in quickly." Otherwise, how could he proceed with his plan?
