Chapter 621: Chapter 412: Mu Lin vs Fen Xiao (Third Update)_2

"You seem to know who I am." Mu Lin was not surprised, and neither was Fen Xiao.

If a poison doctor couldn’t figure out these minor things, then she certainly wouldn’t be deserving of the title. She probably wouldn’t even be alive right now.

Mu Lin laughed, "Your identity is all too easy to guess." But, "I do have a question for you." She was somewhat curious, very curious, "Do you relentlessly seek my life for revenge, or...love?" Her almost-derisive smile made Fen Xiao inexplicably uncomfortable.

Watching the changes on Fen Xiao’s face, Mu Lin smirked, "Seems like it’s the latter." She was rather presumptuous, huh.

"Is this Mister Bi’an really worth you doing all this for?" She had her doubts. Even though they’d only met once, Mu Lin was very clear that this man was fundamentally a cold-hearted man. He could never fall in love with any woman.

It seemed that the woman in front of her was destined to be heartbroken. As a woman, should she express some sympathy?

"This has nothing to do with you." Fen Xiao snorted coldly, "As long as it’s something the Leader wants, even if it costs me my life, I will definitely help him achieve it." This was Fen Xiao’s persistence.

"But I don’t think Mr. Bi’an wants my life right now." All signs pointed to, "You wouldn’t be making these decisions on your own, would you?" Mu Lin raised her eyebrows at her.

"Enough talk." With her lies exposed, she was embarrassed, "Mu Lin, don’t be too cocky. You really think the Leader won’t bear to kill you."

Mu Lin replied, "I never thought so." She wasn’t an idiot. If the Leader wouldn’t bear to kill her, then what were all those previous waves of assassins? Mere eggs?

Although she didn’t know what the other party was thinking, and certainly was too lazy to care; she blocked each incoming attack. After all these years, she’d really grown accustomed to it.

Two hundred meters from where the two of them were standing, several people in a car were closely observing them with binoculars.

"What are they talking about?" the man who disliked Mu Lin said, furrowing his brows.

"Can’t hear them." Xiongzi shook his head, finding their interactions a bit strange.

"Did they know each other all along?" Were they not enemies? Women were truly strange creatures, able to engage so ’intensely’ even with enemies. It was perplexing.

"The Captain said that on the first day Mu Lin arrived in C Province, this woman came to find her." He said indifferently, his eyes continually watching the distant scene.

"I understand less and less as time goes on." He murmured quietly.

"They’ve started." Suddenly, Xiongzi’s voice pulled the previously distracted man back to reality. He quickly picked up the binoculars again. "Wow, they really start fighting at the drop of a hat." Were these two really women?

But, "Both of their moves are..." Too good!

In Abu’s perception, when women fight, isn’t it all about slapping, hair pulling, and verbal confrontations? Yet, when it came to these two women, each of them seemed to be a martial arts master.

He was in disbelief and feeling quite shocked.

It seemed that he’d truly mistaken Mu Lin and Fen Xiao for ordinary women.

The captain watched the two agile women in the distance, finally understanding why Mu Lin didn’t want them to get involved.

Even though he didn’t want to admit it, he had to admit that the three of them combined might not be able to defeat even one woman from the pair.

If they didn’t need her alive, they could shoot her; but if they needed her alive, they indeed couldn’t capture her.

Hit hard by Mu Lin’s kick, Fen Xiao was forced to take several steps back. Looking at Mu Lin’s eyes, which were filled with anger and unwillingness, she was surprised.

She hadn’t expected Mu Lin to act so suddenly, without warning. She’d barely finished speaking when she was attacked. It was no surprise she was upset.

If she hadn’t reacted quickly, the first strike could have caused severe injury.

With a grim impression, she steadied herself and then, without the slightest hesitation, launched another attack at Mu Lin, her eyes full of lethal intentions; since they had already started fighting, she had to take Mu Lin’s life today, no matter what.

Once Mu Lin died, everything that was happening would no longer be troublesome.

Unfortunately, all this was just wishful thinking for now. Mu Lin was not that easy to deal with.

Mu Lin dodged her attack with a slight shift, and immediately counterattacked without any hesitation, showing no mercy.

Her eyes were still calm, but the chilling aura emanating from her body seemed as though it could freeze someone.

Back on the defensive again, she had almost been pushed back to her car; unprepared for her attack, a sideways kick suddenly swept over at her. Fen Xiao was startled, her hand grabbed the car cover. The next instant, she borrowed power to evade Mu Lin’s attack.

With a ’bang,’ Mu Lin’s kick violently hit the white car and a large chunk of the car’s body dented immediately. But looking at Mu Lin, it seemed that she didn’t feel a thing.

Fen Xiao sneered and counterattacked, aiming for Mu Lin’s foot.

She didn’t believe Mu Lin could suffer such a hit and still be uninjured!

Alas, she might be disappointed. Kicking a car was nothing. Mu Lin was used to kicking thick trees, stumps, until they broke; a little nudge like this was a mere scratch for her, if you could even call it that.

Seeing Mu Lin constantly retreating, Fen Xiao felt even more convinced that she must’ve injured her foot.

An opportunity.

Just as she was about to attack Mu Lin again, she suddenly pulled something from her. In an instant, she tried to throw it at Mu Lin’s face.

The indifference in her eyes turned cold, and the dagger had mysteriously appeared in her hand. It moved with lightning speed towards Fen Xiao.

"Ah..."
