Chapter 448: Chapter 315: Sister-in-Law, Valiant and Fierce (First Update)_1
The light of the silver needle glimmered. With just a spin, Mu Lin moved her fingertips slightly. The next moment, the dozen people who were once approaching gradually all fell at once, motionless.
The corner of Mu Lin’s mouth raised slightly, the curve of her lips carried a hint of strangeness as she looked at Jiang Tiantian with a seeming smile. Her eyes, however, showed no change.
"What did you do to them?" Jiang Tiantian looked at Mu Lin in fear; what happened? Why would they fall over all of a sudden? What did Mu Lin do to them?
Jiang Tiantian could not accept that her people could be brought down so easily by Mu Lin. She hadn’t even noticed exactly what happened.
"They’re dead." A cold voice sounded from behind Jiang Tiantian. A man with a pair of terrifying and strange eyes came forward, watching Mu Lin without blinking, his gaze full of deep thought and intense interest.
From this vantage point, he had seen everything. The woman’s speed was shockingly fast; even he couldn’t be certain that he could escape those silver needles.
Mu Lin looked at him indifferently, her face expressionless. She seemed unconcerned about his intrusive gaze, but she didn’t like it. The corners of her mouth rose slightly, her silver needle casting a chilling gleam as if threatening him, causing the lunatic’s lips to curl into a smile as well.
"Dead!" Jiang Tiantian squat down in fear, checking their pulse, and quickly withdrew her hand.
They were really dead! How could this be possible? She simply couldn’t believe it.
They were just alive a moment ago. They were still following her orders, forcing Mu Lin to hand over the antidote. What happened?
"What did you do to them?" The same question was asked again. Jiang Tiantian fixated on Mu Lin, filled with rage.
Mu Lin spread her hands innocently, pouring oil on the fire, "Guess!" If she had eyes, couldn’t she just look to see what had happened? She didn’t feel like explaining.
Jiang Tiantian felt as if a string in her mind had snapped without hesitation. Right now, all she could think about was killing the woman in front of her, not caring about anything else.
The man didn’t speak, just stepped forward and extracted one of the silver needles from a man’s neck. He quietly observed the silver needle in his hand, then looked at the man’s neck. Finally, he gave a slight smile, stood up, and looked at Mu Lin, "Instant death upon contact with blood, how poisonous!"
This was a compliment.
The lunatic had not expected that there would be no sign left on the man after removing the silver needle; this was unbelievable.
Hearing the lunatic’s words, Mu Lin smirked, "Clever but insignificant tricks, thanks for the compliments."
Originally, he assumed she would say it’s not worth mentioning, but she didn’t.
Well, she was indeed an interesting woman; and dangerously so.
Never before had the lunatic seen a woman who dared to stare him down like so; she showed no mercy!
She was more ruthless than he was.
The lunatic inexplicably concluded, the blood on this woman’s hands must be more than his own.
If Mu Lin knew what he was thinking, she would probably appear very innocent because when she killed, she never spilt blood.
Except for the man who had harmed the white rabbit just now. That was indeed a rare exception.
"I was wondering what kind of person would be worth such a high bounty, but turns out you’re quite interesting." The corner of the Lunatic’s mouth curled up maliciously, but his gaze at Mu Lin was full of caution.
Mu Lin’s swift throw of silver needles was incredibly fast and deadly accurate. The needle was highly toxic, lethal once it entered the bloodstream; he believed that the woman in front of him was not someone to be underestimated.
Who exactly was this woman?
The lunatic never imagined that such a person existed in the Jianghu.
Her heart was clearly cold, ever since the woman he had kidnapped left, he had felt that the once laid-back and indifferent woman before him had completely changed.
Hearing the lunatic’s words, Mu Lin only smirked, "I wonder if I’ve met your expectations?" Not that it mattered if she hadn’t, there was no other choice now. She would not give him any options.
"Satisfied, very satisfied." The lunatic gave a mischievous laugh, leisurely watching Mu Lin, "I was worried I would be bored. But it looks like it won’t be so bad." Though his words were light, but it was easy to detect the deep wariness he held for Mu Lin in his eyes.
