Chapter 422: Chapter 296: The Mysterious and Fantastic World (Additional Update) _2

"Alright then, I won’t be repulsed by you." Hearing Jing Chen’s words, Mu Lin smiled, a warm smile that radiated from his eyes, "No matter what you turn into, even if you lose your face, I still won’t be repelled by you." Hearing such words, wouldn’t you be content?

On hearing this, Jing Chen broke out in laughter, "My dear wife, saying that makes it hard for me to know whether I should be happy, or feel..." helpless.

No face? How is he supposed to face people then? He seriously doubted that.

Mu Lin rolled his eyes, clearly finding him bothersome. "Such a bother." At this moment, the elevator doors opened. Pushing Jing Chen aside, Mu Lin turned around and walked out, with Jing Chen following behind.

Hey, what happened to not being repulsed? Had she forgotten what she just said? Jing Chen moved two steps forward and rang Mu Lin into his arms, a habit that had developed over time.

As the two arrived at the door to their room, they happened to bump into two service staff.

"Doctor Mu, Mr. Jing, you’re back." Their timing was quite coincidental. They hadn’t expected Jing Chen and Mu Lin to return so early.

"Uh-huh," Mu Lin responded lightly, nodding to them. The small, comforting smile on his lips was soothing to their eyes, as if it could heal. He opened the door, allowing the two to enter before following them in.

They had no choice but to clean the room because it was such a mess.

However, having Mu Lin back made the two of them feel emboldened. They weren’t afraid of the sea green creature, they were afraid of the black snake.

It’s common knowledge that snakes with triangular heads are extremely venomous. Moreover, the snake was more terrifying than the sea green creature. Especially since Qiaozi and the others were already familiar with the fact that it was a sentient sea green creature.

When Mu Lin and Jing Chen arrived at the living room, the room that looked as if it had been ravaged by a fierce wind caused something to snap inside Mu Lin’s mind.

"Everyone, stand up straight now!"

Hearing this familiar voice, Qiaozi, who was originally soaring handsomely in the air, fell down without any warning.

He was holding a black snake, Yinz, in his beak, deliberating whether to spit it out or to swallow it whole. Qiaozi felt like crying. He had exercised great effort in catching this little monster, was just about to swallow it, but then Little Mu Lin came back.

Yinz looked at Mu Lin, its round silver eyes full of grievance as it struggled helplessly in Qiaozi’s beak.

If it hadn’t heard its master’s voice outside, it would never have been caught so easily by this idiotic Qiaozi. Simply too humiliating.

Its pride in its speed...

Looking at the Yinz in Qiaozi’s mouth, Mu Lin helpless rub his forehead. "Let go of it." she commanded. She had been gone just one morning, yet they made such a mess. Should she confess her admiration for them? It was as messy as a pigsty.

Qiaozi looked unwillingly at Mu Lin. However, seeing the coldness in her eyes, he did not hesitate to open his mouth.

Qiaozi wanted to express his deep grief - he hadn’t even had breakfast yet, he was hungry, and yet she was scolding him.

His head down, he appeared so pitiful that Mu Lin couldn’t make herself to scold him. Eventually, she could only sigh in resignation.

As for Yinz, the moment it slipped out of Qiaozi’s mouth it insolently wriggled into Mu Lin’s arms, without considering the man beside her whose face had turned black in an instant.

The two cleaning staff could only stand there dumbfounded.

Suddenly, they felt really fantastic.

Mu Lin grabbed Yinz out of her arms and flung him onto the coffee table. Yinz immediately stood at attention. Looking at Qiaozi, she asked, "Now tell me, what exactly were you two up to?" Turning the living room into this state was quite an accomplishment.

"Aguda, Aguda..." With a feeble cry, he was able to explain the rough course of events. Mu Lin was left speechless and turned to Yinz, "And why were you urinating in Qiaozi’s breakfast?" Only he could have done something like this.

Yinz tilted his head and flicked out his forked tongue. Unfortunately, Mu Lin didn’t understand. This was probably not the best time for Qiaozi to translate either; even though she didn’t understand, she could guess. In any case, these two couldn’t live under the same roof without causing trouble, unless she was present.

Forget it.

Mu Lin took a bag from Jing Chen’s hand and placed the contents in front of the two of them. "This is your lunch. If anyone dares to cause trouble here again, don’t blame me for stewing you both and having a soup."

Hearing Mu Lin’s words, the two lowered their heads. Although they knew that Mu Lin wouldn’t really stew them, that didn’t mean she wouldn’t torture them.

They wouldn’t dare to provoke Mu Lin when she got angry; absolutely unreasonable.

They lowered their heads and obediently ate their food.

Seeing both of them behaving, Mu Lin nodded in satisfaction. She started to walk towards the loft, but she suddenly paused halfway. A clear voice rang in their ears, "Remember, go face the wall and reflect on your actions after eating." If not punished, they would never behave.

Jing Chen watched Mu Lin, the corners of his mouth lifted in a satisfied smile. It was a pity no one knew what he was thinking at this moment.

After telling the two workers that they didn’t need to come upstairs, the two went upstairs.

The staff carefully began to clean the living room. However, when they saw the two creatures obediently going to face the wall and reflect after eating, their mouths dropped open in utter amazement.

My god, what a fantastical world this is!
