Chapter 344: Chapter 251: No Qualifications (One Update)_1
Meanwhile, elsewhere.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk... Assassins sure are loaded, staying in one of the top hotels in Ming City, and even booking a presidential suite." Really, it was something they could only dream of.
Of course, they didn’t actually envy it. Despite many special forces soldiers turning into mercenaries for various corporations after retirement, this would never happen to them, not to the Special Forces of Ying Sun.
For the members of Ying Sun, no honor was greater than that of the squadron.
But on second thought, most people probably couldn’t imagine it, after all, weren’t assassins supposed to live in the shadows? Was this their way of keeping up with the times?
Ever since Green Scorpion left the police station, the members of Ying Sun had been tailing him. Of course, Mu Lin had already placed a tracking device on him. This hi-tech gadget, paper-thin, was hard to detect once stuck on someone. They were surprised that the Boss would even use such a thing on a minion.
"Minda Hotel." Jing Chen frowned. He hadn’t expected those guys to have been staying right under Linlin’s nose.
"Boss, is there a problem with this hotel?" Surely the whole hotel wasn’t involved with this organization?
"No issue." Jing Chen shook his head. "It’s just the person in charge of the hotel has some slight connection with Linlin." It seemed there was still a bit of a partnership there.
Everyone nodded, not saying more, instead focusing on the conversation between the two targets.
"Who would’ve thought you’d make it back alive." Red Scorpion smirked at the man standing in front of her, his figure battered and bruised. It was indeed surprising.
"Sorry to disappoint you." Green Scorpion snorted. To be honest, no one in the group really respected this woman in front of them, and Green Scorpion was no exception. "Where’s the captain and the others?" He asked subconsciously.
"White Scorpion is dead. Blue Scorpion and Brown Scorpion are where they should be." Meaning, the base. Red Scorpion didn’t like the place and hardly ever returned. As long as they contacted her about missions, she was fine.
"What about Black Scorpion?" Green Scorpion’s eyes darkened slightly. She hadn’t mentioned Black Scorpion.
"Black Scorpion." Red Scorpion burst into laughter, her eyes shimmering with deep-seated malice. "How would I know? He’s probably dying, though." With the way Black Scorpion despised and was indifferent to women, he might die from an explosion rather than find a woman to use as an antidote.
She couldn’t be blamed for this. He had only himself to fault for not appreciating what was on offer.
"What did you do to Black Scorpion?" The chilling aura emanating from Green Scorpion intensified when he heard her words.
Red Scorpion sneered, "Nothing much, I just planted something interesting inside him. Unfortunately, he didn’t appreciate it. I think he’s close to death now." Although it stung a bit, if she couldn’t have what she wanted, destroying it wasn’t such a big deal.
His survival would only choke her.
"Give me the antidote." Green Scorpion was furious and moved to attack Red Scorpion. For the Scorpion Group, Black Scorpion was their real brother, not Red Scorpion.
"Antidote." Red Scorpion laughed, dodging his attack. "I gave it to him from the start. It’s a pity he didn’t want it. How can you blame me for that?"
"Don’t treat me like a fool." Green Scorpion didn’t believe her for a second. Black Scorpion wasn’t suicidal. Why would he not want the antidote? This vile woman must have done something unspeakable to Black Scorpion.
They were well aware of her long-standing desire for Black Scorpion.
Despite being involved with so many men and being morally corrupt, she dared to fantasize about Black Scorpion. As if he would ever be interested in her! Moreover, to them, women were disposable, unless someone had physical needs to be met. Black Scorpion certainly didn’t.
Green Scorpion found this strange.
He’d never seen Black Scorpion show any different expression towards women, nor had he ever seen him engage with a woman for release.
What on earth had this woman done to him? With this thought, he became even more relentless in his attack.
"Who would’ve thought they’d start brawling amongst themselves." Listening to the voices coming from the tracker, Xigua chuckled, a trace of mockery in his voice.
