Master of the Demon Emperor -
Chapter 844 - 844 War Chief
The black fist slowly lifted and then fell again, smashing down onto the already devastated continent, shattering it into pieces.
Su Yie did not take action. His goal was to find the Gate of the Great Dao, and he did not want to cause unnecessary trouble.
He turned around and quickly disappeared into the depths of the starry sky.
As soon as he left, one after another, Innate Immortal Magic entities flew out from the continent, each glaring angrily upward.
"Who is it? Get out here!"
One of them, an old man with a dual-headed lion face, roared, his voice causing the surrounding debris and meteorites to turn to dust.
As his words fell, the black fist suddenly vanished.
Soon after, a figure appeared above, commanding and arrogant.
This person was none other than the Polar Emperor!
However, there were some differences; his whole body was as black as iron, his eyes blood-red, terrifying and sinister, as if harboring endless killing intent. In his right hand, he held a staff, adorned with three skulls - one human, two beasts.
Looking at the Polar Emperor, the lion-faced old man said in a deep voice, "Who exactly are you?"
The Polar Emperor was unfathomable, his Divine Thought resting on him, making the lion-faced old man's heart skip a beat, not daring to tear apart the relationship directly.
The other Innate Immortal Magic entities were also too afraid to speak despite their anger.
The aura of the Polar Emperor was simply too terrifying. Just standing there made them feel invincible.
"I am the War Chief of Extinction Right. You should not exist."
So spoke the Polar Emperor. As soon as he finished, black gigantic fists appeared out of thin air above the heads of the lion-faced old man and others, descending with extreme speed.
Boom! Boom! Boom…
The bodies of Innate Immortal Magic entities exploded instantly, with their souls sucked onto the surface of the black fists, unable to break free no matter how they struggled.
The War Chief of Extinction Right waved his staff, causing all these souls to fly toward him.
The souls, with faces full of terror, mouths wide open as if speaking, made no sound, rendering the scene extremely horrifying.
Soon, they were absorbed into the skulls on the staff, disappearing without a trace.
The War Chief of Extinction Right frowned, muttering, "Still far from enough, these guys are too weak."
His figure gradually became phantasmal, turning into an apparition, and finally disappearing into thin air.
On the other side.
Su Yie was comforting the Divine Tear and Shen Qi on his shoulder.
The two Divine War Beasts bared their teeth and growled softly at the rear, as if facing a formidable enemy.
Su Yie communicated with them through his mind; they said an exceedingly powerful presence was locking onto them from behind.
However, due to the strength of the two Divine War Beasts, the mysterious entity did not dare to approach.
Su Yie was a bit alarmed. Could it be an Eternal Divine Command?
Otherwise, how could the Divine Tear and Shen Qi be so nervous?
It might very well be a top-tier existence within the Eternal Divine Mandate Realm.
The Eternal Divine Command is divided into ten realms; in the classification of the Great Dao Communication Device, one realm is equivalent to a Great Realm.
Lord Qin was a Fifth Realm existence of the Eternal Divine Command, so the two Divine War Beasts were of this cultivation as well.
Soon, the Divine Tear and Shen Qi calmed down, the mysterious entity gave up tracking them, seemingly fearful.
This incident made Su Yie wary. Indeed, the Sixth Origin Plane was stronger than the Eighth Source Plane.
He did not wish to suddenly encounter an extremely powerful entity, unable to teleport away and get exterminated.
He continued forward.
About a day later, he stopped and took out a Gate of the Great Dao.
The Dragon Lord's Authority stepped out of it, half-kneeling before Su Yie, clasping his fists and asking, "Ancestor, what matters require instruction?"
Su Yie asked, "If you encounter the Gate of Misfortune from other origin planes, can you control the time-space within it?"
The Realm of Misfortune had always been a mystery.
The Three Thousand Royal Powers could traverse between Hongmeng and the Eighth Source Plane, but could not transit other origin planes, which was really odd.
Could it be that the Gates of Misfortune from other origin planes have even stronger Royal Power Rules?
Rules, after all, are not unique.
Just like two different origin planes, time rules are different.
Of course, within the same kind of rule, there must be one most powerful rule that can dominate other rules.
The Dragon Lord's Authority pondered, "Not sure, I've never been to the Gate of Misfortune from other origin planes."
Su Yie wanted to send him to search for the Gate of Misfortune and the Gate of the Great Dao, but after thinking it over, he decided against it.
After all, the Dragon Lord's Authority is a major combat force; losing him would be truly regrettable.
He waved his hand, signaling the Dragon Lord's Authority to return, then retrieved the Gate of the Great Dao.
He continued onward with the Divine Tear and Shen Qi, aimlessly searching for the Gate of the Great Dao.
The Sixth Origin Plane was much larger than the Eighth Source Plane, making the search for the Gate of the Great Dao exceedingly difficult, like finding a needle in a haystack countless times over.
However, having experienced the highest timeline, Su Yie could now endure the monotony.
Moreover, he had Nan Xiaopao, Xi Qingyue, and the two Divine War Beasts to accompany him.
Every so often, he would release the two ladies to let them see the sights of the Sixth Origin Plane.
In the blink of an eye, ten years passed.
Su Yie still had not found a single Gate of the Great Dao, nor even heard any news about it.
Unlike the Eighth Source Plane and Hongmeng, there seemed to be no records of the Gates of Origin Time in the Sixth Origin Plane.
At least during his long journey, no one had mentioned it.
He couldn't help but wonder whether the Sixth Origin Plane simply didn't have a Gate of the Great Dao?
He could not resist asking Hu Dingzhu and the Azure Emperor of the Great Wilderness within Emperor Su's Sect.
He had not asked before for fear of revealing his purpose, considering how crowded and diverse Emperor Su's Sect had become; who knows if someone harbored ill intentions?
Hu Dingzhu, Sunlit Divine Sovereign: A Gate of Origin Time? Such time-space gates do exist, but they are very rare.
Azure Emperor of the Great Wilderness: The Sixth Origin Plane has no Gates of Origin Time or Gates of the Great Dao or Gates of Misfortune; if they existed, they would have already stirred up a bloodstorm.
Their answers plunged Su Yie into the depths of despair.
Su Yie released Nan Xiaopao and Xi Qingyue, explaining the situation.
Nan Xiaopao suggested, "Why don't we investigate from the direction of time-space gates?"
Xi Qingyue nodded and said, "Perhaps it's just a difference in terms; the Sixth Origin Plane should have a Gate of the Great Dao. Otherwise, origin planes would be completely isolated."
She was curious about how they arrived at the Sixth Origin Plane but had never asked.
Su Yie only said it was thanks to the power of Emperor Su's Sect.
Not being a member of Emperor Su's Sect, she refrained from asking further to avoid suspicion, no matter how curious she was.
Su Yie considered it, realizing that was indeed the only course of action.
Aside from the Sixth Origin Plane, the only place he could go was the Innate Clan.
Heading to the Innate Clan would likely only invite trouble.
He suddenly recalled the Great Primordial Realm mentioned by the Frost Formation Technique; perhaps there were numerous Gates of the Great Dao there.
Just as the three of them were lost in thought, a silver light swiftly swept over.
The Divine Tear opened its mouth wide, capturing that silver light and swallowing it.
"Hiccup—"
The Divine Tear let out a burp, looking immensely satisfied.
Su Yie glared at it and scolded, "I didn't even get to see what that was!"
Nan Xiaopao and Xi Qingyue covered their mouths and giggled; this little creature was indeed fierce.
The Divine Tear was about to nuzzle Su Yie's face when its expression suddenly changed, and it started convulsing.
"Roar!"
It transformed back into its original form, a lion-wolf visage, appearing in immense pain.
The Divine Tear meowed lazily, clearly mocking the Divine Tear.
