"So fast?" Feng Xue’s brows rose. From the start of his slaughter to now, including the time wasted with Chen Xiyao’s indecision, less than five minutes had passed. The Manager saw Feng Xue slowly backing away and discerned the fear in his heart. Her lips curved up slightly, and without wasting words, she wielded her long sword and charged at Feng Xue.

His damage against undying beings was stacked several hundred high; he didn’t need to take these corpse-mutated threats into consideration at all. Since the zombie girl showed no aggression for now, he could leave her be. Killing the bastard who had cost him an opportunity to "ascend" was what he wanted most.

Only, she overlooked one thing—

Her charge was too straightforward!

This meant that during her charge, she would approach the zombie girl first, then begin to "retreat" before reaching Feng Xue.

Feng Xue didn’t look at the Manager, instead, he immediately stood up and rushed toward the zombie girl, or to be precise, the cardboard box beside her!
