Qi Cheng sighed helplessly. He had always considered Lin Xiang as a little girl. "Lin Xiang, I have no feelings for you. Forcing a marriage would be unfair to you. I’ve always seen you as a younger sister. That’s why I don’t want you to waste time and energy on someone like me."

"You’re good at saying nice things." Lin Xiang turned her face away coldly.

Last night, she had already discussed this issue with Qi Cheng, but he insisted on sending her away.

She couldn’t resist him, so she had to leave.

Ji Yunhuan said, "When I got up just now, I saw Qi Cheng and Lin Xiang leaving. Have they returned?"

Bai Liyan paused, curiously looking at her. "Do you miss Qi Cheng?"

Ji Yunhuan shook her head. "No, I was just asking. If they left, we could stay here a bit longer."

She lied, feeling guilty.

It wasn’t to deceive Bai Liyan but to deceive herself.

Bai Liyan smiled. "You might be disappointed. Lin Xiang is leaving. Qi Cheng is sending her off, but he will come back."

Hearing Bai Liyan’s words, Ji Yunhuan frowned, "Is he really that good? Personally seeing Lin Xiang off. If he couldn’t bear to part, he might as well go with her."

"Are you jealous?" Bai Liyan laughed.

Ji Yunhuan shook her head. "Of course not."
