"I haven’t eaten." Ji Yunhuan turned her head, starting to look for her clothes. Qi Cheng picked up the clothes that had fallen on the carpet and handed them over. The shirt’s buttons were ripped, so it couldn’t be buttoned up. She angrily glared at him.

He handed her the jacket under her angry gaze, then turned to make a call. "Bring in a set of women’s clothes."

"Yes." Ji Yunhuan reluctantly put on the torn clothes. Even if Assistant Gao brought the clothes, she couldn’t face Qi Cheng naked the whole time.

It was too embarrassing.

She hated herself a little.

The clothes came quickly. Ji Yunhuan went to the spare bathroom to change and also washed her face.

She sat down, and Qi Cheng looked at her. "Does your company treat you so harshly they don’t even give you food?"

She had gone to a social engagement, and naturally, she couldn’t eat in front of the client. Before she realized it, the night had already passed.

After being stood up by a man named Yu, she wasn’t in the mood to eat at the hotel.

She hated herself even more. After leaving the hotel, the first thing she thought of was Qi Cheng.

When they finished eating, it was very late. They walked out of the restaurant, and Qi Cheng’s car was already waiting outside. Ji Yunhuan got in and told the driver, "Send me home."

The driver glanced at Qi Cheng, waiting for his instructions.

Qi Cheng waved his hand. Ji Yunhuan felt that since he had just gotten what he wanted, he wouldn’t make things difficult for her. With his fondness for tender care, sending her home shouldn’t be a problem.

Honestly, she was very tired after working all day without a break.

So, sitting in the car next to Qi Cheng, she quickly fell asleep.

Her head lightly leaned against Qi Cheng.

The man beside her had already picked up her phone and turned off the alarm.

Ji Yunhuan stared at the ceiling, feeling the scene was familiar. Wasn’t this the same room she woke up in a week ago?

She clearly had told Qi Cheng to send her home. Yet, once again, she ended up at his place, spending the night!

She turned her head, looking at Qi Cheng beside her. Qi Cheng looked at her gently. He thought he was being quick enough, but she was still woken by the alarm. "It’s still early. You can sleep a bit longer."

"Give me the phone." Did he really think she hadn’t seen him turn off the alarm?

When it rang, how could she not know what time it was? How could she fall back asleep now?

Qi Cheng, in his pajamas, stretched out his long arm, and the phone was in front of her in an instant. Ji Yunhuan glanced at the time, complaining, "Didn’t I tell you to send me home? Why did you bring me here?"

"I thought you meant home, my home. Sorry, I didn’t understand."

"..." His innocent tone convinced Ji Yunhuan he did it on purpose!

She quickly got up. "I have to go. I still need to work."

"Being late isn’t a big deal. What’s the rush?" He lay in bed, looking at her calmly.

Ji Yunhuan paused, glaring fiercely at him. "Do you think everyone is as idle as you, with nothing to do?"

She was surprised that Qi Cheng hadn’t taken her back to his old home.

Luckily, it wasn’t. Otherwise, seeing those familiar people would have been beyond awkward.
