Chapter 77: Chapter Sixty-Seven

The media is now filled with my good name. Just how much I love my omega and other bullshit that I don’t even care about. They are now headed over the hills for me as if I am the prince charming every girl out there dreams about. Just thinking about makes me scowl in distaste.

How can people be so naive?

Do they really think that something like Prince Charming actually exists? And even if he did why would he choose some lowlifes like them? Is every one of them his Cinderella? What a joke. However, this is not my concern. My concern is that I have successfully managed to control the damage my past made. Now I am on my way to remove it from its root.

Leo told me that he was introduced to Lucy once at that party and that I was supposed to go with him but couldn’t since I had gotten into that ’accident.’ I was quite surprised when I heard him saying that Lucy was possibly Liu Feng’s cousin. But I am not surprised anymore as it is quite clear that they share similar genetics.

I pull out my phone and dial Liu Feng’s number which I got from Leo’s phone while he was in the shower this morning. I need to talk to him.

"Hello?" Liu Feng’s thin Chinese accent comes from the other side of the line.

"Mr. Liu!" Say enthusiastically, "I hope you are having a good day. It’s me, Warner."

I can clearly see how Liu Feng is wincing from here. "Why are you calling me, Warner?" His grim voice is telling me that I have successfully ruined his day and a satisfied smile spreads across my face.

"Oh dear, you tried to ruin my life and now when I am trying to ruin your day, Mr. Liu you are being mean," I say cheekily. Now the only thing I want is to ruin his day officially. "I just wanted to meet Lucy. I read what she wrote about me in the article. I have something to talk about with her."

Lucy wrote...many things. Things that happened and things that I never imagined. I slept with Lucy for I assume, two weeks. And she claims to be my girlfriend for two months. She even claims that I have some inappropriate pictures and videos of her. What bullshit.

Her body is nothing out of the ordinary. Her breasts aren’t that big either. Two A cups. Leo’s body is far more tempting and alluring than her and any other woman I have slept with. And he knows his job well. On the other hand, Lucy just wants to be fucked and nothing else. Rolling back her eyes to the back of her head when I hit it, she looked like a possessed patient. Good thing I didn’t drag out things with her any further than that. Nor, she would have said that she was pregnant with my child. That female omega is utterly shameless and ruthless.

I just don’t get what I ever did to her. Why is hooked in fucking my life?

"I can’t let you meet her." Liu Feng says stonily from the other side.

"And why not?" I ask. I will meet her even if you like it or not.

"I just can’t let you meet her." Liu Feng reasons. His words do not hold any ground whatsoever. "She is scared that you might harm her."

"Do I look like you?" I snicker, "I mean like when you can’t win in an argument you will go for backhanded methods? No, thank you. I am not like you. I have morals." ’don’t’ is missing here.

"What are you trying to imply, Warner?" Liu Feng’s voice is sharp now. He is starting to get pissed finally.

"Is it that hard to understand, Mr. Liu?" I say, my tone is a bit sarcastic, "I know you are the one who started those articles and other stuff and Lucy is your accomplice in this task. Am wrong, Mr. Liu."

Liu Feng pauses a little then composes himself hurriedly, "Indeed, you are right Mr. Warner. I am the one who started all the articles and other things because I thought it would be necessary to make Leo divorce you but it turned out quite a bit different than what I had in my mind. But why do you want to meet Lucy now?"

"Oh, did I forget to tell you that I had some inappropriate pictures of Lucy? No?" I lie through my teeth and I don’t even blink while doing so. "And I was planning to leak it on some porn sites. It will help me make some money you see. So, I thought I should have the permission of the owner first, what do you say, Liu Feng?"

I can see Liu Feng’s face draining color as my every word spills out of my mouth and hits his eardrums, "What are you talking about?" He asks, his voice alarmed and grim.

I am so proud of myself for bringing out these kinds of reactions out of him. Now let’s keep it in flow. "I do not have any reason to lie Liu Feng. But it’s alright if you still don’t want me to meet Lucy. I will just simply leak the photos. I am broke right now, you see."

"You are not doing anything like this, Warner." Liu seethes, "Come to my company and I will give you whatever you want."

"Okay, then I want to see Lucy there too. Did I make myself clear? Mr. Liu?" I grin but I keep my voice from touching the laugh in my throat.

"Understood. But it will be bad if you break the deal." Liu Feng threatens.

I shrug my shoulders and snort, "Okay."

I don’t actually have anything of Lucy. I just lied because I wanted to see her. And other than that she is repeating a year in college because of her attendance, I will have a fun year with her at college. I am starting to go there in a week. I will have her know that scare the shit out of her. That dirty little omega knows nothing but ruining people’s lives. She should at least have the taste of her own medicine for once. I am just returning the favor she has done me tenfold, simple.

I enter the polished company building like a high schooler who is just a little big or his age, that’s all. I ask the receptionist about Liu Feng and that guy stares at me for a good ten seconds before giving me the information I need.

I don’t bother knocking at the door or asking for permission as I directly push through the door. "Lucy!" I call her name enthusiastically as if I am the happiest person on this earth to see her face again. And it’s actually entirely the opposite.

Lucy pales a shade but manages to flicker a strained smile. "Erwin. It’s been a while."

"It is but I couldn’t imagine that you would make us meet each other like this again." I walk over to the couch and get myself seated. I cross my legs as I make myself comfortable on the couch.

Liu Feng’s eyes fall over my crossed leg before they dart back to my face again. I love that disdainful expression on his face. It suits him well. "Please behave yourself, Warner." Liu Feng’s eyes are narrow as his lips press themselves to two thin lines.

"I am behaving myself." I retort laughingly.

"What do you have of me, Erwin?" Lucy asks tensely. She is clenching her fists so tightly that her knuckles have turned white. "You never told me that you have my pics and some videos."

"I never told you because I don’t have any." I say nonchalantly, "I lied when I said that I have some of your inappropriate stuff."

Liu Feng looks seriously dismayed and this proves that I have officially ruined his day. I bit my lip to keep a smug smile forming on my face. "You lied? Why?" Liu Feng interrogates.

"Because I wanted to meet Lucy and you wouldn’t let me meet her." I say, waving my index finger in the air as if I am testing the air. "I had some job with both of you."

"You wanted to see me? Why?" Lucy asks, lines forming on her forehead.

"To tell you that I will be your new lecturer in a few days." I smile as I see her ace is turning white, "I just wanted to tell you that, you made a huge mistake lying to the media like that. You are in trouble, Lucy. And Liu Feng." I switch my attention to Liu Feng, "I believe you know, Leo’s company is far more bigger than yours. And I know if the contract that you both agreed to sign gets terminated there is a seventy percent chance that you won’t be able to keep your company standing for very long."

Liu Feng is caught off guard at this, "What are you trying to say, Warner?"

"I am just trying to say that losing this one contact will mean nothing to Leo meanwhile your career will be destroyed. But if you maintain your boundaries from now on then something might happen. What do you say? Which one do you prefer? Losing your company or losing a battle that means technically nothing to you? Hmm?" I smirk, "Now I believe you have understood what I am saying. So both of you be in your lines and we all be fine." I smile cockily and walk out of the office without another backward glance.

I have solved the problem from the root and now I am only waiting for Halloween. It’s going to be fun.
