Married To A CEO. Omega -
Chapter 120: Extra-Final
Chapter 120: Extra-Final
ERWIN
"So, it took you two damn years to marry, John, huh?" I scoff at Ruth who is grinning like an idiot and boring a hole through John, "And stop staring at John like that, it is creepy."
"He is my husband now." Ruth tosses back, "I can do whatever I want to do with him now."
"I do not believe that, Harlock." Leon pipes in, holding a glass of whiskey, "You cannot hurt, John. Or else you know the consequences." He takes a si from his drink.
"I am not like you." Ruth rolls his eyes, "I didn’t push Joe away two years ago."
Leon’s expression darkens, "And I am not like you, who used John as a sex toy three years ago."
"Exactly." I press my lips to prevent the smile that is tugging at the corner of them.
"And I am not like you." Ruth and Leon counters sumptuously, "I didn’t kiss another girl in front of Leo."
"Gosh." I groan, "It was a damn misunderstanding, got it? I never broke my husband’s heart intentionally, like you two did." I smirk devilishly.
This shuts them off because they know this is the truth. I am the best husband Leo could ever have and it goes to my case as well. Leo is the best person I could ever have in my life.
"Is this some kind of competition?" Leo joins us. I lean and kiss his cheek like I always do.
"Not really." I grin down at him, taking in his formal attire, he is as beautiful as ever, "I was just pointing out their mistakes for them."
"Of course, this is what you are best at Mr. Professor." Leo teases.
I snort, "Can we not talk about that right now?"
"I am cringing," Ruth whispers loudly to Leon.
"Same." He replies in the same manner.
"Seriously guys?" I roll my eyes at them. Then chuckle, they join a well.
I never realized how we became strangers to friends. Guess a lot happened in these two years. Leon and Joe started dating. Which was an unimaginable thought for me. Leo knew something was up—if he was not the mastermind—but he never said anything to me about all this. Ruth threw a huge tantrum after he found out about it. He even threw punches but we don’t talk about that.
It took him a whole year to get used to the fact that his baby brother was dating. He is still kind of awkward about the fact that Joe is dating a man who is almost seven years older than him. But if this is what Joe wants then it’s fine.
Steve grew up four inches during that time. A great achievement for a brat who didn’t grow up for a year. Then, Ash and Alen grew up too fast. They are now called the cutest kids of the generation. They can even talk now. And they like Steve so much. Especially Ash. Steve likes them as well. I mean... I think a bit too much than he should. But anyway, they are just kids.
"Now, now, you guys don’t run around the venue like this!" John bellows after them, chasing the three of them down, "You guys will fall! Ash! Alen! You guys still can’t walk properly!"
"I can’t believe his." Ruth is in disbelief, "we just got married and he is already running after the kids? Seriously? Leo aren’t they yours?"
Leo shrugs, "What can I do? John is like their third father aside from me and Erwin. In fact, he handles better them than we do. And he is very attached to them."
Right, this is one of the reasons they are still staying with us. John and Steve aren’t just ready to let go of Ash and Alen. It applies to Ash and Alen just the same. They love each other way too much.
And as John is worrying, Ash trips and falls. We pause and then run to him.
"Oh no," Leo scoops Ash up and tucks him under his arm, "Are you okay? Where did you get hurt?" Worry lines Leo’s beautiful face.
"I told you not to run around like this!" John rebuk, he has the same expression as Leo.
Meanwhile, Ash flashes a wide smile and says in his childish super cute voice, "I am okay, papa."
But on the other hand, Alen starts to cry, "Ash got hurt. Because of me." he hiccups.
We all sigh. This has always been like this. Whenever Ash got hurt, Alen would be the one to cry instead of him. And then we have to spend a whole hour to calm Alen down. I just don’t get how this works. This twin is identical to each other but they both behave so differently...
Ash slides down his papa’s arm and goes to his twin brother and pats his head, "Alen, don’t cry." he smiles brightly, there is a pulled tune in every word Ash spells, it makes his words even more adorable. "I am okay. See!" Ash offers himself for his little brother to see.
Alen looks at him then slowly stops crying, "Really?" Damn, their accent is the same as well.
Ash nods enthusiastically. Ash then goes to Steve, who is trying to seek out any injured place in Ash’s body. "I am okay, Steve."
"Are you?" Steve mutters slowly.
Ash nods and smiles reassuringly.
"These three are really something else..." Joe comments.
"They are growing up together, so it is fine, I think." Ruth says, shrugging his wide shoulders, "In any case, I can’t even have a peaceful wedding ceremony, can I? Today is my wedding you know."
"With a world-famous CEO—" Leon starts.
"And a chairman of the largest group of the continent—" Leo continues.
"I don’t think it is possible." I finish for them.
Ruth gives us a disbeliefing look and rolls his eyes. John just chuckles. I join him but pause when I feel two tiny hands wrapped around my leg. I look down to find a pair of gray eyes staring at me.
"What is it, Ash?" I smile.
"I want to marry Steve, dad." He smiles brightly at me.
