Chapter 690: Chapter 543 Diya’s Suspicion_2

Ash thought for a moment and briefly described the events in the Kingdom of Gospel, "... In order to solve the Bloodline Curse on me, I and the others are pursuing a felon known as ’Silver Lamp’ on the Land of Senluo. Although we’ve encountered some troubles, at least our freedom hasn’t been restricted. Besides, I don’t have to persist in the pursuit. Since there is ancient technology that created the Bloodline Curse, there naturally exist relics and treasures that can cure it. If I resolve the curse during my travels, I won’t have to stay in Senluo anymore."

Diya asked, "Who are the companions with you?"

"Necromancer, Spirit Mage, and a warrior I met in Senluo."

"Is that warrior a man or a woman?"

Ash hesitated for a moment, "A man... probably."

Diya wasn’t reassured, she dropped all pretense and asked directly, "Do you think Yooran Weiser resembles any of the women you’ve met recently?"

Both Ash and Weiser looked at each other in surprise. However, Ash was merely puzzled why the witch would ask such a question, while Weiser was shocked at how she could have exposed herself.

Because another ’me’ from a different timeline had warned her, the moment she was pulled into the Void Realm, Weiser had established her persona, completely separate from her real self, to avoid being recognized.

When Weiser spotted the Observer, she immediately recognized him as the pursuing Ash Heath—at the food factory town just two days ago, when the Holy Sanctuary team nearly caught up to her, she saw Ash wearing the same deep red coat.

According to intelligence from another timeline ’me,’ the Observer had no knowledge at all about the real-life situations of his teammates. Therefore, as long as Weiser maintained her disguise well, there was no risk of exposure.

However, this could still possibly be a trap designed by Ash and his team to capture her, and Weiser didn’t place full trust in the information from other timelines.

Merely upon seeing the Observer’s team, Weiser had made up her mind that she would stay with this team, even if it meant taking risks.

A well-coordinated Void Realm Exploration team was too tempting for Weiser. Her Technique Spirit system was in extremely poor compatibility with the Distant Realm. Until she could assemble a new system, her explorations in the Void Realm were difficult, and in reality, being a fugitive, she couldn’t gather the resources she needed without the platform of the Four Pillars God Sect.

But with this team, she could quickly get past the initial difficult period in the Distant Realm.

Moreover, Weiser was very curious about Ash himself. After all, forming a team in the Void Realm was almost a Wonder. Facing such a temptation, how could she, as a Truth Mage, not wish to delve into the secrets of this man?

But what she absolutely did not expect was that even though she had perfected every detail, she was still suspected—by a Mage she did not know!

Prophecy? Fate? Or did the witch’s Time Faction already achieve a level to glimpse into the future?

The reason for Diya’s suspicion of Weiser was very simple—because she herself was the best example!

She was both the Observer’s teammate Witch, and Ash’s daughter Liss!

Seeing Weiser, Diya suspected whether she had already been present in Ash’s real life. Especially the other women who appeared around Ash, each of them was a prime suspect!

However, Diya didn’t notice that, while she was eyeing Weiser, Sonia too had a thoughtful look on her face.

"I haven’t seen many women recently," Ash shook his head, "And how could I possibly meet you all in reality... Weiser, are you in the Kingdom of Senluo? Do you have any impression of me?"

Faced with their gazes, Weiser showed a baffled expression and after a moment of contemplation, shook her head, "I don’t think I’ve seen you, and I am not in the Kingdom of Senluo. As for which kingdom I am in... because I’m in a chaotic era with many competing forces, I also don’t know the name of my kingdom. We usually refer to the world as ’this land’."

Diya still had her suspicions, "You wouldn’t happen to be the new warrior that the Observer just met, would you?"

"Ash." Ash had to clarify, "Although the warrior is a very strong person, he isn’t even a Mage."

With that, the new member was completely cleared of any suspicion, and Diya fully relaxed, proactively going over to hug Weiser’s arm, "Welcome to the team!"

Watching them giggling and laughing, Ash also let out a sigh of relief.

He was actually quite nervous himself; after all, the new teammate was a Holy Sanctuary Mage, and all of the Holy Sanctuary Mages he knew were incredibly proud and had strong personalities: Blood Frenzy Hunter Gerard, Clan Leader Qinna of the Elf Clan, Crying Red Hat Cleos... and these were just the ordinary Holy Sanctuary Mages, whereas Yooran Weiser was from the Truth Holy Domain!

To put it another way, the ordinary Holy Domain is like scoring full marks in a regular college entrance exam subject, while the Truth Holy Domain is like scoring full marks in a competitive subject, practically guaranteeing a spot as a Legendary Mage!

If Ash had been able to score full marks in a competition subject and get a guaranteed spot during high school, he would have probably been insufferably arrogant too.

If the new operative had intended to vie for the team’s leadership or had an even more aggressive personality, Ash deeply doubted whether he could lead the team well.

It was just unexpected that this time they had drawn a super good card; not only was the new operative strong, but she also had a gentle and humble personality. To use a girlfriend as an analogy, it was like finding someone with a good family background, a high level of education, beautiful, busty, and also gentle and considerate, loving only you—for sure if you encountered this in reality, it would either be a scam or selling tea, but this was a result of drawing cards, perhaps her family’s company occasionally had a twinge of conscience, too.

"I want to know more about your experiences in the Kingdom of Gospel," Ash turned his head to see Sword Maiden standing beside him.

He replied, "Although it was only a matter of a few dozen days, it was nonetheless a very convoluted adventure, too long to be summed up in a few words."

"No worries, you take your time to tell it, I’ll take my time to listen," Sonia said, "The high school league has ended, and I’ve won first place in the Meteor Disaster, next is the school’s summer vacation, I have plenty of time."

"Then I’ll find time to tell you all about it," Ash smiled, "But you also have to tell me about your Meteor Disaster championship journey—I wish I could have been there to see your impressive performance."

"There wasn’t much to see at the scene; my win was quite precarious, and I ended up battered and bruised," Sonia tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "If you want to see, look at me now, always available for you to see."

Ash: "Even battered and bruised, I’m sure you were still the center of attention amidst the Star Cluster."

Sword Maiden tilted her head and winked at him, "So we have a deal?"

"We have a deal," Ash said, "Just not sure when we’ll have the leisure for that."

"We will have it, for instance, we could find a more peaceful dream, sit down in a bar inside, you listening to how I defeated Holy Sanctuary Mages in the Meteor Disaster arena, and me listening to your wondrous experiences in Gospel..."

"...and the story that unfolded between you and Master Hanna."

Looking at the ’Sincerity’ Technique Spirit in the Sword Maiden’s hand, Ash suddenly felt that as a Mage in the Void Realm, one should strive to explore, and not be lazy or shirk work.

He clapped his hands, "Alright, it’s time to explore the Void Realm!"

Diya looked around, "Have you prepared any mode of transportation?"

You guys have modes of transportation when exploring the Void Realm?" Weiser was really surprised, what exactly are you guys up to? Are you here to explore or to mate?

"We don’t have transportation this time," Ash said, "But, we have something even more powerful than transportation—the Dream Treasury!"

With those words, Ash activated "Aurora’s Dream Treasury," and three collection phantoms emerged before everyone’s eyes!
