Chapter 530 - 430: Ash’s Harem_2
Chapter 530: Chapter 430: Ash’s Harem_2
Hanna looked over at the sound.
"No way!" Ash quickly shook his head. "I’m scared! Qinna almost captured our Holy Sanctuary Mage; isn’t it normal for me to feel fear upon seeing her?"
Liss and Hanna gave Ash a suspicious glance, then lowered their heads to continue viewing the video footage.
The initial scenes were quite ordinary, just the story of how Qinna, after becoming the Clan Leader, fortified Senheiser with Nona’s support. But after a familiar scene flitted by, ’Ash’ appeared abruptly in the video.
"You!" Qinna immediately stood up, looking nervous. "Why are you here!?"
"Isn’t it normal for me to be here?" Ash walked up to Qinna. "Haven’t you always wanted me to become a part of Senheiser? Now that I’m home, aren’t you happy?"
As he spoke, he reached out to touch Qinna, only to have his hand slapped away: "Ash, Senheiser does not welcome you, you better—"
Smack! Ash pushed Qinna back into the chair, their faces so close their noses nearly touched.
"How rude," Ash said, staring at her. "Your heartbeat is very fast. Are you nervous?"
"I’m scared, I am scared of you!" Qinna said through gritted teeth. "Ash, how dare you—"
"You got it wrong again." Ash gently caressed Qinna’s cheek. "What should you call me? Hmm?"
Qinna’s face flushed red in an instant, the mighty Holy Sanctuary Red Hat unable to resist. Instead, she stiffened against the chair, her chest heaving, her gaze averted, and biting her lower lip, she whispered, "Master, Master..."
"Good girl." Ash leaned in, his tongue lightly licking Qinna’s face. Qinna’s body immediately softened, melting into the chair like a puddle of water. Ash easily picked up Qinna and turned to look at the blushing Nona beside him: "Nona, come here too."
The next scene was the big bed.
"Banjee, help me out here."
"Sure."
Ash and Banjee, one covering their eyes, the other their ears, instantly blocked Liss from the world channel. Liss was not having any of it, struggling and fussing nonstop: "Why can’t I watch daddy and Aunt Qinna!? Let me see, let me see! Did they kiss?"
That did not happen.
After all, the video was meant for the whole Gospel, so the content was very restrained. The scene only showed Ash lying on the bed under the covers, which greatly relieved him...
But when he saw the covers suddenly bulging in two places, he felt like the stone he had just put down had mercilessly smashed onto his foot.
Qinna and Nona came out from beneath the covers on either side, nestling next to Ash. The blush and sweet smile on the faces of the elf sisters indicated their considerable satisfaction with Ash.

Inside the Senheiser building, a maid saw this scene and gasped in shock.
"So it’s true!"
"They told me exactly this and I thought it was just a lie... that man actually is indeed the Clan Leader’s sisters’..."
"The Clan Leader, the Clan Leader can actually act coquettishly! She even pleaded with him, begged him not to... I wouldn’t even dare to dream of such a scene!"
"Why has Captain Nona been so silent... Huh?" The maid zoomed in on the footage as much as possible. "The corner of Captain Nona’s mouth, it looks like... it’s pulled with a thread...?"

’Happiness List’ Second Place: The Happiest Clan Leader
Description: Qinna Senheiser could have become the happiest Clan Leader with the assistance of Nona Senheiser, but unfortunately, she met Ash Heath, becoming the latter’s forbidden delicacy, thus this ranking is invalid.
"Reward: Cancelled"
"Principal Culprit: Ash Heath"
As soon as the Happiness List’s second-ranked entry concluded, the room suddenly fell silent.
The atmosphere became so heavy that even the Spirit Mage didn’t know what to say to break the ice.
Liss gave Ash a reproachful glance before turning her head towards Hanna and saying, "Sister Hanna..."
Though it was still a plain greeting, at that moment, the term ’Sister Hanna’ seemed to take on a new meaning.
Hanna glanced at them expressionlessly and, looking down, said, "The first place has been updated."
"Happiness List’s 1st Place: The Happiest Empress"
"Introduction: ..."
The first entry shockingly had no introduction, jumping directly to the video footage, and this time the Gospel Book seemed too lazy to even pretend to transition, instantly featuring Ash from the start.
"In the grand palace, Ash lay lazily on the highest throne, with the young Empress seated on his lap, her back to the camera and her face unseen, affectionately hugging Ash’s neck, looking like the favored concubine of a disaster-bringing evil lord."
The video ended.
"Happiness List’s 1st Place: The Happiest Empress"
"Introduction: With Ash Heath, ranking invalid."
"Reward: Cancelled"
"Principal Culprit: Ash Heath"
Ash closed the Gospel Book, feeling a weight lift from his shoulders.
This was his most uncomfortable list to date because he had appeared as the villain throughout.
Unlike the Family List, where at most he could be considered a sycophant, with the main schemer being the Necromancer Harvey, this time in the Happiness List he hogged almost everything for himself, wreaking havoc from the last to the first place, nearly clearing all the grass at the edge of his own nest.
If evil had a color, it surely wouldn’t be as deep as Ash’s.
Ash saw Liss rewind to look at the Empress’s footage and said, "Stop looking, that’s definitely not your stepmother, I don’t even know her... huh?"
Liss suddenly grew tense and hastily closed the Gospel Book, "Dad, what are you surprised about?"
"Nothing, I just noticed the Empress’s pose resembles yours quite a bit," Ash remarked.
At that moment, Liss was also sitting on his lap with one hand hugging his neck, indeed similar to the image of the Empress.
Liss stiffened momentarily but quickly acted nonchalant, laughing heartily and hands on her hips: "That’s right, I am the Empress! So you have to listen to me, Dad; we’re going to buy ice cream tomorrow!"
Ash couldn’t be bothered with her and turned his head to look at Hanna and Igula: "We’re done with the list; can you explain what exactly went wrong at the Weaving Festival now?"
Hanna closed the Gospel Book, pausing for a long while to choose her words.
"Do you know about ’Illusion Technique Descends the Deity’? In ancient dramas, when the story needed a major plot twist, allowing characters like Angels to enter, Illusionists would create special effects to make the Angels appear very abruptly on the stage."
"Later in drama and novel works, ’Illusion Technique Descends the Deity’ broadly referred to those far-fetched, forced, and completely unheralded plotlines. For example, when an author doesn’t know how to proceed with the story, they might arrange for an Angel to save everything or for a Meteor to destroy everything."
Ash murmured thoughtfully, "Are we the Angels?"
"No," Hanna replied, "You are the Meteor."
