Chapter 527: Chapter 429: Igula’s Daughter

"Happiness List Rank #9: The Happiest Child"

Seeing this ranking, those at the Funeral Ceremony collectively sighed with relief—surely they wouldn’t have to appear this time, right?

Although they couldn’t rule out the possibility of appearing as "relatives from the parent generation," with Ash and his two companions’ futures—one a career scam leader, one a vagabond uninterested in the living, and one just crawled out of Hell—when would they have the time to have children? Was Ash going to have them with Meiwa from Hell?

"Introduction: Reya Bokin, daughter of Anfeier Belladett and Igula Bokin, was born destined to be the inheritor of Belladett, master of Mongfera, and the sole inheritor of the Dominion Faction. After Archibald put all the Belladett clan members to rest, Reya will be completely free from the curse of her bloodline. Since childhood, she had been doted on by her parents and whenever she traveled outside, the believers of the Four Pillars God Sect covertly protected her, allowing her to live a carefree life... liv... ing..."

Like the previous list, the text of the introduction suddenly became distorted, and then the entire page was blackened. Bloody ink formed a name that everyone was already tired of seeing: "Ash Heath."

But by this point, no one cared about the anomaly in the Gospel List, instead casting strange glances at the Swindler.

However, Igula’s face showed no surprise, just a thoughtful expression.

Just then, his left side burst into grey flames. Although they didn’t ignite any of his clothes or skin, they swiftly spread in an attempt to engulf his entire body!

"What’s going on?" This sudden attack put everyone immediately on high alert, with Banjee and Hanna conducting reconnaissance of the surroundings. Meanwhile, the Swindler, whose face was half-burned, didn’t seem perturbed at all: "Don’t panic, Ash, give me a hand."

Watching Igula reach out with his right hand, which was nearly a grey fiery torch, Ash didn’t hesitate and immediately grasped it. The grey flames rushed along his arm and transferred to Ash, eliciting a gasp from the others. But Ash only felt a slight chill before the flames returned to Igula. This time, however, the grey flames quickly extinguished as if nothing had happened.

"Yvalin just launched a manipulation of Miracle, attempting to warp my cognizance directly while I was in shock, making me return to Belladett manor as a son-in-law," Igula explained. "I must say, this Miracle is quite innovative, ’manipulating cognizance,’ such an abstract action, actually materialized as flames to speed up the process... Good, I’ve learned it."

"So, was your asking for my help a necessary part of solving this?" Ash inquired. "Do I also have the effect of lifting mind control?"

"No, I just wanted to scare you a little," Igula said.

"Wait a second, Yvalin just urged Auntie Bokin to go back, and then Auntie Bokin’s daughter appears in the list..." Liss said. "Could it be that Sister Anfeier already has the little baby Reya!?"

"Igula, you scum who hit it and quit it!" Ash gasped, "You managed to do it in just a few days... You must have used hypnotism, right!? Teach me!"

"Who was it that kidnaped me into the car in the first place!?" Igula’s mouth twitched. "And I think I’ve figured out what this list is all about... Presumably the young miss has too. If after we finish looking through the list, you ungulates are still in a state of cycling away with your brains, then I’ll explain to you."

"Yep," Hanna also nodded. "This Gospel List will be beyond everyone’s expectations."

With both persons responsible for raising the team’s intelligence confirming this, the group continued to watch the list.

By now, the video footage had shifted, displaying little Reya’s happy life from birth. She had been closely nurtured by her mother from a young age, freely growing up in Belladett Manor. Occasionally, her father would take her outside to witness the magnificent scenery and experience the hardships of earth, thereby developing kind and compassionate characteristics. Born to wealth, yet she instinctively fostered a restrained personality, perceptive to human nature yet adept at empathy. Aside from being a bit whimsical and mischievous, Reya nearly embodied the best qualities of both her parents.

It was the kind of life that made one enviously long for it—do Igula and his partner still have plans for offspring? If I reincarnate now, can I reserve a spot?

"Eight-year-old Reya was playing in the garden when the screen suddenly flickered, and abruptly, Ash appeared behind her."

"Reya, nice to meet you," Ash said. "I’m Ash Heath..."

"I know, Uncle Ash!" Little Reya lifted her head. "Aunt Yvalin and mom often talk about you! Are you here to see Dad?"

"Nope, Reya, I’m here for you," Ash crouched in front of her. "I’m here to kidnap you."

Reya tilted her head and extended her hands to Ash: "Here, let’s go. Where will you take me to play?"

"Why do you look so nonchalant, you’re making me lose face," Ash said with a laugh.

"Because Uncle Harvey and Aunt Hanna often suddenly take me out to play too," Reya wrinkled her nose, pouted, and said: "Aunt Hanna takes me around to the Gospel to play, and Uncle Harvey likes to show me the latest Necromancy species he’s invented..."

"How do you feel about it?" Ash laughed. "I heard Igula also takes you out to play often, who do you find the most fun?"
