Guo Kui nodded, glanced at Yue Ming, "Follow us."

Yue Ming obediently followed behind Guo Kui, walking out of the alley with Qin Qin’s group.

Qin Qin asked Guo Kui to go back and not to escort her, as she would return on her own.

After Guo Kui and the other men in black left, Yue Ming took a long, deep look at Qin Qin and then followed Guo Kui away.

A female police officer approached Qin Qin, extending a hand, "Miss Qin, I’m Deng Zhi. There wasn’t a chance to introduce myself last time because things were urgent."

Qin Qin extended her hand to shake Deng Zhi’s, "If there’s nothing else, I’ll be taking my leave."

"Hold on, actually, there’s something I would like to ask for Miss Qin’s help with. I know it’s sudden, but it’s an issue that’s been troubling us for a long time, and I believe with Miss Qin’s abilities, you could surely resolve it."

Deng Zhi seemed to hesitate for a while before speaking, and Qin Qin’s brows rose, "What is it that you need me for?"

Deng Zhi took a deep breath, "Actually, the captain didn’t want us to seek you out. Here’s the thing: in the past half month, we’ve received two calls reporting crimes. One was half a month ago when someone was dismembered and dumped into a sewer, reported by a sanitation worker, and now we’ve just received another report, saying a family of three was dismembered following a burglary in their apartment. The captain is at the scene right now; we got the call and came here."

"We’ve been unable to find any leads on this case for half a month, and it’s causing a lot of panic among the citizens. I hope Miss Qin can help us," Deng Zhi continued after a moment of hesitation.
