Chapter 120: Chapter 120

"If he’s the same Sebastian Saenz who ruined your life, then there is no point in trusting him, Madam," Arthur said. "He doesn’t deserve your love."

"I never intend to love him anymore. It’s all gone since he ruined everything in my previous life," Winter replied. Though, if she could be honest, she did have feelings for the ’innocent’ Sebastian that turned out to be fake all along. It was unfortunate, but Winter was glad that she didn’t fall too deep into Sebastian’s trap in this life. "I just want him to be useful. If he wants to repay for his mistake, then this is his chance to do so."

"But what if it’s all just his ploy?" Arthur asked.

"Then I want you to help me execute him," Winter replied. "Once I find out that he’s trying to take over Goldmine Realty again, then we will work together to kill him."

"You don’t need to do that, Madam. You might go to jail," Arthur denied. "I can do it myself."

"No, if he has to die, then he will die in my hand."

Arthur’s lips thinned. He noticed that the change in Madam’s behavior was caused by her rebirth. If the rebirth was true, it all made sense as to why she became so calculating and cold towards Sebastian Saenz.

’I will do my best to support her, no matter what,’ Arthur thought.

"Then, what should we do today, Madam?"

"Just like what we planned yesterday. Make sure to gather all the people who worked as Camilla’s mole in our company, and pay them all a good amount of money before kicking them out. Make sure that Isabella, the receptionist, is the first one to leave because I know she must’ve been under so much pressure."

"Why do we need to pay them, Madam? Isn’t it easy to just force them to leave?"

"Because we don’t know how much they know about the company. I don’t want any company’s secret to get leaked to Camilla."

"Understood, Madam."

Meanwhile, Sebastian already busied himself in the office. He had a meeting with a few of the company’s contractors as he already mapped out all the important matters regarding the company’s project with Lucien LeBlanc. Once he was done, he rushed back to the CEO’s office for another work-related matter.

Cindy had been sitting at the Secretary’s desk in boredom.

Sebastian didn’t allow her to follow him around for meetings, as Iris had done a much better job than her. Thus, Cindy’s role had been reduced to menial jobs such as printing documents or making coffee for Iris.

She wanted to demand for a job that would allow her to have more contact with Sebastian Saenz, but it didn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.

Her eyes brightened when she saw Mr. Saenz step out of the elevator, with Iris followed closely. She got up and said, "Sebastian—I-I mean, Mr. Saenz, do you need me to do anything? I—"

"Not now. I don’t have time for you," Sebastian interrupted as he continued walking into the office and slammed the door shut.

Iris went to the secretary’s desk and sneered, "Why don’t you stop bugging him and do your job as being told? It’s not like you can actually seduce him."

Cindy rolled her eyes but said nothing as she had no way to counter what Iris just said.

Cindy knew that the right thing to do was to work honestly and get a proper job. However, she was still angry at Winter for getting everything handed to her while she had to struggle so much.

Thus, she had to make a point, that she could have what Winter had.

As she busied herself watching TikTok, the elevator door was opened, and Winter stepped out of it with an air of arrogance around her.

Cindy glanced at her sister and rolled her eyes again.

She didn’t plan to talk with her sister today, because she was still pissed at Winter for not adhering to her demand about giving up Sebastian.

Meanwhile, Iris smiled at Winter before greeting her, "Morning, Winter. Mr. Saenz is inside if he’s the one you’re searching for."

"Thanks," Winter replied with a thin smile.

Iris sensed that something wasn’t right with Winter right now, but she dared not to ask because Winter seemed to be in a terrible mood.

Winter walked past the secretary’s desk, but before she pushed the CEO’s office door open, she suddenly turned around and faced Cindy, who was playing with her phone right now.

"Cindy Hazard."

"Huh?" Cindy put her phone down and lazily gave Winter a side-eye. "What?"

Winter’s lips thinned as she stared down at her sister with a cold gaze. She allowed her willful and illogical sister to stick around because she wanted Sebastian to cheat, so she had a reason to divorce him.

But now that she found out the truth of his rebirth, she had no use for this woman anymore. She had been staying for far too long.

Thus, Winter said decisively, "You are dismissed."

Cindy’s eyes widened. Then, she stood up immediately to challenge her sister.

"Dismissed? You want to fire me, your own sister?!"

Winter’s gaze was unmoved as she replied, "You are not an official employee yet, so there is no way for me to fire you. But I can dismiss you anytime I want, and I want you to leave now."

"You can’t do that to me! Do you know how sad Mom will be if she knows that you are so cruel to her own sister?!"

"I will tell Mom about it later, because I see no use of you," Winter added. "You have ten minutes to leave the building. If you don’t, Iris will have to call the security to kick you out."

Winter had no time to listen to her sister’s tantrum anymore, so she ignored her and walked into the office to see what Sebastian was up to this time.

"Hey! I’m not done talking to you!" Cindy wanted to enter the CEO’s office and fight her overbearing sister, but Iris grabbed her hand and asked with a mocking sneer.

"Didn’t you hear her just now? You are dismissed."
