Madam Wants To Divorce Her Second Husband -
Chapter 102
Chapter 102: Chapter 102
Sebastian held his tie clumsily, like a kid on his first day at school. She wondered if he was just acting so they could spend more time together, but she didn’t mind at all.
"Fine. But you should learn how to do it yourself, alright?" Winter said though she was sure that Sebastian would never learn how to tie a tie.
Back in their previous life, Sebastian would always stand in front of the mirror in the living room, trying his best to tie his tie. For some reason, the smart and capable Mr. Sebastian Saenz was actually really clumsy with his hands.
"I-I will try," Sebastian said. He gulped when Winter approached him and stood right in front of him. She snatched the navy-gray striped tie from his hand and began helping him with it.
"Remember, Sebastian Saenz, I expect a good outcome from this meeting with Lucien LeBlanc. You shouldn’t get agitated by his taunt, or we might lose a huge deal," Winter said. It was also a future warning for him, because he was still young, and he might not be able to control himself when some people were trying to taunt him, to make a reaction that would put him in shame and demoralize him.
"I promise everything will run smoothly," Sebastian said solemnly as if it was a life-and-death situation. "I will make you proud, wife."
Winter paused when Sebastian addressed her as a wife instead of her name. She hadn’t said yes to it yet, and she thought it was still too early before they could call each other husband and wife naturally.
However, she didn’t try to correct him either. She thought it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t want to make a fuss about it.
Besides, she didn’t want to discourage Sebastian when he was about to go and have an important business meeting with Lucien LeBlanc that would determine the fate of Goldmine Realty.
Meanwhile, Sebastian took her silence as compliance. She didn’t correct him when he called her wife, and in his head, he was finally allowed to call her that permanently from now on.
"Done," Winter said as she fixed his tie. "Now go. You could be late for the meeting."
"Okay," Sebastian grabbed Winter’s hand and pulled her. But Winter stood her ground, frowning back at him. Sebastian turned his head and said, "Wife, we will be late. Let’s go."
"Why are you pulling my hand? I’m not going to come with you," Winter sighed. "I have my schedule. So, I’ll be with Arthur instead."
Sebastian’s mood soured in a split second the moment Winter mentioned that bastard again. He was so fed up that no-brain bastard was still lingering around Winter.
Yet, he also could not do anything to eliminate Arthur. Winter would be sad if something happened to him.
As long as Winter didn’t request him to remove Arthur from her life, then all he could do was watch over them carefully and try to limit their contacts.
’And for now, time to use my skill...’ Sebastian prepared himself before he acted like an abandoned puppy in front of Winter. "But you told me that you will accompany me to the meeting. Is that just a lie?"
"W-well, it’s not a lie. I’m going to join later."
"I see. Alright then..." Sebastian slowly released his grip around her wrist, still making that sad puppy face as he ambled his way through the foyer. As if he had been utterly abandoned by Winter.
Winter sighed.
Of course, she knew this was just a trick that Sebastian did so they could go to the office together, and she shouldn’t have agreed to it.
But seeing him looking so depressed finally roused that guilt in her heart. Thus, she followed him from behind and said, "Fine, let’s go and meet with Lucien LeBlanc together."
Sebastian’s sad puppy act disappeared out of his face in a second. He had a big smile as he nodded, "Let’s go then. We’re going to be late."

Winter and Sebastian walked out of the elevator together, and they bumped into Arthur who stood in front of Winter’s car as usual.
Arthur frowned when he saw them being so loving together. He didn’t know what that bastard did to bewitch his Madam, but he had to always be on guard in case Winter wanted to leave Sebastian.
"Good morning, Madam," Arthur said as he ignored Sebastian again. "The car is ready. Do you want to go somewhere today?"
"Ah, well... you are free of work today, Arthur. I’m going with Sebastian to the office," Winter said.
That sentence angered him to the point it almost suffocated him. He clenched his fists, but kept his obedient expression, "Madam, I’m not only your driver, but also your bodyguard. I cannot just leave you in the hands of an incompetent man."
"Who do you call incompetent, huh?" Sebastian raised his chin arrogantly. "She doesn’t need a bodyguard with me around, especially someone who is obsessed with her."
"I’m not obsessed over her, Sir. I’ve been paid to protect Madam Winter from any harm," Arthur said while staring at Sebastian, implying who the harm was.
Sebastian still couldn’t keep his temper against this bodyguard who had become Winter’s shadow for too long.
"Then, I’ll arrange for you not to get paid anymore, so you can get the hell out of my wife’s life."
"Sebastian!"
Sebastian’s heart jumped when Winter suddenly reprimanded him. He turned his head, staring at Winter with a look of disbelief.
He didn’t expect Winter to suddenly take Arthur’s side rather than him.
Meanwhile, Winter thought their arguments had gone too far. She had been trying to ignore these petty arguments between two immature men, but Sebastian’s threat made her react.
"Arthur is my bodyguard. You might not think much of it, but his role is crucial for my safety. I will only come to the office with you today because we have a crucial meeting that we cannot miss, got it?"
Arthur felt that his heart had been showered with the gentle glow of his Madam. Just when he thought he would finally lose his beautiful Madam to this bastard, she still defended him.
’Then, I’m not completely helpless,’ Arthur thought. ’She still doesn’t see Sebastian as her real husband, so I can convince her to leave him... eventually.’
Winter turned her head towards Arthur and said, "Arthur, I can give you a free day off. But since you don’t seem to want it, then follow Sebastian’s car from behind. You might not drive me around today, but you can protect me still."
"Understood, Madam," Arthur nodded without hesitation, much to Sebastian’s annoyance.
"Let’s go, Sebastian. We wasted too much time arguing, Lucien might try to exploit our tardiness for the meeting," Winter said as she dragged Sebastian to his car.
Sebastian said nothing as he unlocked the car with his key. He wanted to open the door for Winter, but Winter had already done it herself. He begrudgingly sat in the driver’s seat and drove out of the basement parking lot.
The atmosphere inside the car was far from harmonious. It was obvious that Sebastian wasn’t happy with how Winter reprimanded him for Arthur.
"Don’t act childish, Sebastian," Winter chastised him again. "You’re an adult, a married man, and a CEO. It’s not cute when you are trying to pout like that."
"Do you think a married man cannot throw a little tantrum when his wife chooses to defend another man instead of him?" Sebastian asked. He was sulking, and he wanted Winter to know.
"And what makes you think you have the right to dictate whether I should fire Arthur or not?" Winter’s voice turned cold, and Sebastian stopped sulking when he sensed it. "Sebastian Saenz, I’m not a decoration you can put in the corner of the living room. That penthouse, company, and even Arthur... all of them are mine. You are still an outsider, so it’s best to stay in your line."
Sebastian didn’t say anything after that. He stopped acting sulky to fish his wife’s pity as he knew that Winter was at her limit.
Winter sighed. She leaned on the seat and looked away, so Sebastian wouldn’t notice her complicated gaze.
Honestly, Winter already felt pity for the sulky Sebastian. But she knew she had to reprimand him immediately before he started making stupid demands.
She wanted him to understand his position as a mere replacement for Aiden because there was no way she would allow him to have more authority than just being a CEO.
’I stupidly allowed Sebastian to control everything in my previous life, and that Sebastian turned into a monster with no heart,’ Winter thought as she remembered the painful life she had before. ’I cannot mess this up. This Sebastian is still innocent and dedicated to me. As long as I keep him in check, then he will never cheat, lie, or betray me, right?’
