Madam, Please Behave -
Chapter 429: Coming for You
Liu Changqing had never been this furious before. The mere thought of that person chatting with his daughter while harboring such disgusting intentions made his anger uncontrollably surge.
It's normal for men to have lustful thoughts and make suggestive jokes.
But there was absolutely no excuse for saying those things when clearly knowing the other party was just an eleven-year-old child.
After they stepped out, Liu Changqing strode rapidly toward the elevator, repeatedly jabbing the down button with his finger.
Chen Dafu was equally enraged.
He'd grown quite fond of Liu Xiazhi - every time he visited, the girl would sweetly call him "Uncle Dafu." Without realizing it, he'd developed an affection for this adorable child.
Reading those chat messages had infuriated him too.
Joining Liu Changqing, Chen Dafu cursed angrily.
"That bastard isn't human! Did you see what he wrote? Damn it, just let me get my hands on him—I'll show him why flowers are so red!"
"You'll get your chance."Liu Changqing stared fixedly at the descending elevator numbers, speaking without turning his head.
"Some people mistakenly think the internet grants them impunity. But in reality... cyberspace isn't lawless territory."
"Huh? You mean... call the police?"
"We could. But not now."
Liu Changqing responded.
In an era with robust cyber laws, reporting to authorities might be the better option. But internet regulations were still developing, full of loopholes. Even if they reported it, the case might go nowhere.
Liu Changqing understood this perfectly.
An ordinary family might just confiscate their daughter's phone and pretend nothing happened.
But Liu Changqing couldn't tolerate that approach.
As a doting father, reading those messages to his child made him want to find and beat that scum senseless.
It was paternal instinct.
And considering Liu Changqing's temperament...
He would never let this slide.
If his daughter made mistakes, she'd face consequences.
But...
Standing before the elevator, Liu Changqing's expression darkened.
He... would make sure that bastard remembered this forever.
"Ding!"
The elevator doors opened. Liu Zhiyue, returning from buying high school workbooks with his backpack, was about to step out when he froze at the sight of his father and Chen Dafu.
Spotting his son inside, Liu Changqing was momentarily surprised but entered the elevator without hesitation, pressing the button. Chen Dafu followed.
Liu Zhiyue stepped back, puzzled.
"Dad, where are you going?"
"Uh... your dad and I are going fishing!"
Chen Dafu blurted out, mistakenly assuming Liu Changqing wanted to keep this from his son. But once again, he'd misjudged.
Hearing his son's question, Liu Changqing directly handed over his daughter's phone.
"See for yourself."
"Isn't this Xiazhi's phone...?"
Taking the device, Liu Zhiyue unlocked it (knowing his sister didn't set a password) and immediately saw the chat logs.
The very first message made his blood run cold.
[Do you want to see the big goldfish?]
Liu Zhiyue stood frozen, fingers mechanically scrolling through increasingly disturbing messages.
With each line, his anger grew.
Finishing the logs, he finally understood his father's rage. Even he was livid after seeing these exchanges with his little sister.
Looking up from the phone, Liu Zhiyue was aghast.
"Who... who is this person?"
"Don't know."
As the elevator doors reopened, Liu Changqing stepped out, followed hastily by the other two.
They got into the car, Liu Changqing taking the driver's seat.
His face grew colder as he stared ahead.
"But... we'll have his address soon."
"Very soon..."
————————————————————
Night fell.
Inside a hotel room.
A thin man with pronounced dark circles lay on the bed, typing furiously on his laptop.
Sent here on business, he'd been in town nearly a week.
His exhaustion showed - clearly he hadn't slept properly, all thanks to QQ Chat.
In early April, QQ had introduced a new feature showing nearby users when adding friends. Curious, he'd experimented.
The feature worked wonderfully.
Local users populated his list, and he began randomly chatting. Online messaging was still novel for most people, and soon he'd struck up a conversation with a young girl.
Initially proper, the chats turned exciting after he checked her QQ profile.
Eleven years old.
Unlike real life where people knew him, the anonymity of the internet unleashed his darkest impulses.
Despite knowing her age, he'd bombarded her with sexual innuendos.
Perhaps too young to understand, she'd missed his hints—until today, when she'd promised to send a photo proving she wasn't "ugly."
He'd been thrilled.
Kids were so gullible. Once he got that first photo, more explicit ones would inevitably follow.
But after expecting imminent success, she'd stopped responding.
By nightfall, he'd deleted her contact.
Time to find a new target.
The room was silent except for his typing.
Then—
Knocking at his door.
His fingers froze mid-keystroke. After a pause, he turned toward the sound.
"Who is it?"
"Hello, we've received complaints about a water leak from your bathroom to the room below. May we inspect the plumbing?"
