Two of the wolves quickly ran away as the rest of their pack was burnt down by the red-haired girl who had a smile on her face as flames covered the entire area she was in, Isabella had to create water to stop the fire from escalating.

"I told you not to do this but you always do, this is a forest, what good would any of us be in if you burn down the entire forest" Isabella shouted.

"Sorry, you can have the crystals," Freya said hoping to cheer Isabella up.

"You think I can’t kill wolves on my own, next time Ethan will take care of Martha, I need to cut something," Isabella said.

"You can try cutting the wolves and taking out the crystal," Ethan said while facing away.

"You...Ethan, since you are the male, all menial work and labor are your job" Freya said.

"Help..." A voice screamed running towards the ground, and before long they saw a female figure running towards them with a big black wolf behind.

"An evolved dire wolf, an advance level beast...this is our chance to defeat one and take the crystal" Freya shouted.

"Aren’t you seeing how big that thing is, it’s not something we can defeat and someone is running away from the wolf, where is the rest of her team" Isabella spoke.

"We should run" Martha shouted.

"Martha hide, we won’t be able to protect you and fight it off, I’m sure you can find us later on" Ethan spoke as he pushed her and she started running away from them.

"Let’s stop it first" Isabella muttered as they moved away from the wolf’s path and hid behind trees waiting for the wolf.

The girl the wolf was chasing was really fast, it was likely she had wind element but she wasn’t skilled enough to fly away, she could only outrun the wolf.

She continued shouting till she ran past the three of them waiting to ambush the wolf and as soon as the wolf was in range, Isabella created spikes of ice on the ground and the wolf stepped on them and immediately stopped.

Freya and Ethan joined their spells, Freya created her large fireball while Ethan increased its range and heat with his wind spells causing the wolf to cry out in agony.

The wolf quickly retreated creating space between itself and the three of them, the girl who was running quickly increased her pace running far away from the beast because she knew the three of them were dead.

"So what’s the plan, this is really big, I don’t think it’s an advance level beast, is it?" Isabella spoke.

(Shit... it’s bigger than the last one you ran away from, when the battle starts make sure you cast a little spell then run away, this is a king tier beast)

"King tier!!" Ethan shouted out loud causing the other two girls to look at him before turning their attention towards the large wolf in front of them who was still looking at the three of them trying to pick its first meal.

’I can’t run away and leave them behind, they would definitely be killed, and Isabella is a princess and Freya is from a noble family who is also friends with the royal family’

’If Isabella and Freya are killed, then me and Martha who are on the same team with them would be held responsible and also killed, maybe they won’t kill me but I’ll be a slave for the rest of my life’

(Spells would only damage the wolf a little and shave a little from his HP, if you guys had unlimited Mana then you could make it a battle of endurance but you are just students so the weak point of the wolf is its neck or its stomach, but you have no way of reaching there because of its size)

The wolf finally picked a target and before they could react the wolf was already inches away from Isabella.

The wolf swung its claws towards Isabella, Freya shot her fireball towards the wolf but it wasn’t going to do anything, Ethan could only shout her name as the wolf crushed the princess.

The wolf claw collided with an ice figure of the princess and shattered it to pieces while Isabella appeared a few meters away from the ice.

The three of them quickly moved backward towards themselves as the wolf stared at the ice it just crushed.

"I can only do that three times in a day, it consumes a lot of Mana and stamina" Isabella muttered.

"I don’t think we can defeat this, my flame have no effect on the beast, should we use our stone and teleport out of here, failing the test is better than dying" Freya muttered.

"Not a chance, this is the only chance my mother gave me, if I fail the test, I won’t be able to retake it again, I’ll have to live in the palace as a princess like my sister" Isabella spoke.

"If we are to face this we have to come up with a good plan, first it’s agility and destructive power are top class, one hit would definitely be game over for us, the only weak spot the wolf has is its neck and stomach, so we have to aim there, I’ll act as bait while the two of you strike" Ethan spoke.
