Early the next morning, Stella sent Adrian to Seventeen’s house.

It was Adrian who insisted on being with Seventeen. He said that she didn’t need to take him to school in the future, and he said that he would be fine with Seventeen in the future.

Stella didn’t agree at first. After all, it was not good to trouble Seventeen. Besides, she didn’t know what kind of person Seventeen was. If he had any bad thoughts, she would be worried about Adrian.

Stella sent Adrian to Seventeen’s house. When she went home, she saw that Emily had not gotten up yet. Thinking that Emily would be late for work if she did not get up, she had no choice but to go to Emily’s bedroom to call her.

“Emily, get up.” Stella walked to the bedside and patted Emily gently.

Seeing that Emily still didn’t respond, she thought that Emily shouldn’t be sick, should she?

Thinking like this, she touched Emily’s forehead and found it very hot.

Stella immediately went out and poured a cup of warm water. She immediately found a medicine to relieve the fever, but she didn’t expect that Emily had a high fever.

Stella fed Emily good medicines. After thinking for a while, she felt that she call and ask for a leave.

She had wanted to call Manger Bailey to ask for a leave, but when she realized that she didn’t have Manager Bailey’s number, so she had no choice but to call RK.

Seeing that Stella had called him so early in the morning, RK thought that something might have happened to Stella, so he immediately picked it up.

“Hey, RK. Emily and I wanted to ask for a day off.” As soon as the phone was connected, Stella told her why she called him.

“What’s wrong? Did something happen to you?” RK got nervous when he heard that Stella was going to ask for leave.

“I am fine. It’s Emily who has a high fever. I have to take care of her.” Stella didn’t think too much about it and told RK the reason.

When RK heard that Stella was fine, he relaxed and agreed.

Stella went to look at Emily and found that it was a little better than before. She covered Emily with the quilt and then went out.

Stella went to the kitchen to have a look. She wanted to make some porridge for Emily. Otherwise, what if Emily felt hungry when she got up?

Stella returned to her bedroom and changed into casual clothes.

Stella had just changed her clothes when she heard a knock on the door. She was wondering who would come knocking in the morning.

With curiosity, Stella opened the door.

“Ruben?” Stella didn’t expect Ruben to come.

“Good morning, sister-in-law. Emily, is she alright?” Ruben asked as he walked inside.

Before Stella could answer Ruben’s question, he had already entered Emily’s bedroom. She thought that it should be RK who told Ruben about it, so she didn’t say anything. She closed the door and went to the kitchen.

As soon as Ruben arrived at Emily’s bedroom, he touched Emily’s forehead.

“Wake up, Emily. Are you feeling unwell?” Ruben called Emily softly.

“Hmm? I want to sleep.” Emily heard someone calling her in a daze, but she just wanted to sleep.

“Okay, then go to sleep.” Ruben tucked Emily in, bent down and kissed Emily on the forehead, and then went out.

“Sister-in-law, go to work. I will take care of Emily.” Ruben didn’t forget the expression on RK’s face when he told him about it. It was obvious that he wanted Stella to go to work.

Stella thought for a moment and nodded.

“Remember to make porridge for Emily.” Stella took off her apron and put it on Ruben’s hand.

“Okay, got it.” Ruben nodded and put on an apron, and walked into the kitchen.

Stella looked at Ruben’s back in the kitchen and felt relieved. Then, she went back to her bedroom to change her clothes and got ready to go to work.

As soon as Stella went downstairs, she saw a familiar car.

“Stella, I am here to pick you up.” RK saw Stella coming downstairs, so he opened the door and walked out.

Stella frowned. Without saying anything, she walked in front of RK.

“Was it you who told Ruben that Emily is ill?” Stella remembered that she had only told RK and no one else know about it except RK.

“Well, he can take care of his girlfriend by himself. You haven’t need to take care of her.”

RK wouldn’t admit that he was jealous. He just felt uncomfortable when he thought that Stella was cooking for others and taking care of them. When he thought that Stella didn’t take care of him when and ignored him when he was ill, so he was unhappy.

Stella was speechless. She didn’t expect RK to be so childish.

“Let’s go. Let’s go to work.” Stella walked past RK, went to the other side, opened the door, and got in.

RK didn’t say anything and went in as well. He waited for Stella to fasten her seat belt before starting the car.

To be honest, after Stella entered the car, she regretted when she saw RK start the car.

She went to the company in RK’s car. If someone saw her, the company probably wouldn’t be able to stop talking about the relationship between her and RK. After all, it had been hard for her to calm down in the past two days.
