Chapter 426: Chapter 426 Just Marry me

Stella moved her hand away and didn’t even look at him. "I am going home." With that, she grabbed her bag and got up to leave.

RK forcefully pressed her down onto the chair. He picked up a tissue and wiped the food from the corner of her mouth. Then, he grabbed Stella’s hand tightly. Without giving her a chance to refuse, he dragged her into the car.

RK locked the car doors and watched as Stella kept trying to open the door, and failing.’

Stella gave up opening the car door and kicked it angrily. "Let me out."

"I will let you go when I am done speaking." RK pressed Stella down and fastened her seat belt. The car then sped through the endless stream of traffic.

Stella simply closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep, refusing to look at him. To ease the mood in the car, RK turned on the sound system, and soothing songs filled every corner of the car.

RK parked the car by the beach. Stella felt that the car had already stopped, so she opened her eyes steadily. "Why did you bring me to the beach?" RK rubbed his nose and got up to open the car door.

Stella didn’t wait for RK to open the car door for her. She opened the door and got out of the car on her own. She looked at RK with great caution and smiled helplessly. "Why are you looking at me like that? I can’t eat you anymore."

Stella snorted and turned to look at the sea. The sea looked more and more like a huge sapphire shining in the night sky, showing its open and soft side. She stood with her hands open in the wind, like a bird that was about to spread its wings and fly.

The faint moonlight fell on her body, and she appeared much softer than usual. RK couldn’t help looking at her. He stepped forward, took off his jacket, put it on her, and hugged her from behind.

Stella’s body stiffened all of a sudden, rejecting his embrace. RK pressed his lips against her ear and said softly, "Be careful. Don’t catch a cold."

Stella broke free from his embrace. "Get straight to the point. It’s not your style to beat around the bush."

"This kind of thing needs to be done bit by bit. If you are impatient, you will be destined for failure." RK slowly took out something from the pocket on the left side of his shirt. His eyes were filled with a tenderness that Stella didn’t understand.

Stella was stunned when she saw that it was a hollow red rose. RK lifted her hand and opened her palm. Then, he placed the hollow red rose in her hand.

Stella couldn’t understand what RK was doing, so he explained patiently, "The rose plant you gave me has bloomed and become a beautiful flower." Stella’s eyes turned red. It turned out that he still remembers it.

She calmed herself down and said in a normal voice, "Oh, that’s what you wanted to say."

"Just marry me, okay?" RK held Stella’s palm so that the hollow red rose would bloom in her palm.

"What did you say?" Stella couldn’t keep up with RK’s thought process and she asked in disbelief.

"Marry me," RK repeated. He looked at Stella seriously, and she could tell that he was not joking.

"Why?"

Stella’s brain went blank and she questioned helplessly.

"To give Adrian a complete family so that our child will not be short of the love of a father or a mother. That’s unfair to the child."

"I won’t agree to marry you. I will take good care of Adrian by myself."

"Are you sure you can take good care of him alone? Can you give him good things? He will be talked about by other children when he is in school. They will point fingers at him and say that he is a wild child without a father."

"I..." Stella was rendered speechless by RK’s words.

RK placed his hands on Stella’s shoulders and made her look straight at him. He wanted to use his enthusiasm and love to touch this woman who had been deeply hurt by him. He also wanted to thank her for giving birth to such a beautiful son for him.

"Look at what’s in your palm. I want to express my feelings for you. Let’s be a complete family for Adrian, okay?"

RK knew that he wouldn’t be able to move Stella alone. Their son was their only bond and the only one who could keep Stella by his side.

Stella looked at the sea for a while, and her mind was filled with thoughts. RK waited nervously for her answer, and his heart was full of anxiety. He was not this nervous when he talked about business worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Stella lowered her head and stared at her toes. In a muffled voice, she said, "I promise you."

RK bent down slightly and pressed his forehead against hers. His voice trembled and he was pleasantly surprised. "Can you say that again?"

"I promise you, for Adrian."
