“She is sick? How could be she sick? Did she go to the hospital?” It was evident that RK was nervous. “Can she answer the phone now? Please give her the phone.”

“Stella, why didn’t you tell me that you are ill?” RK’s tone was full of displeasure.

“It’s okay. I just caught a cold. It’s not a big deal.”

“Why do you say that it’s not a big deal? Have you gone to the hospital for an infusion? What did the doctor say?”

Stella was speechless. Shouldn’t this kind of concern be so touching? Since when did she have such a tendency to be tortured?

“Yes, the doctor said that I should get another drip again tomorrow,” Stella replied honestly.

“Don’t make breakfast when you get up tomorrow morning, and don’t move around at home. Just wait for me obediently.”

When Violet got home, she was exhausted and laid down on the sofa.

She had always thought that Willy would never appear in front of her again. She had thought that she had moved on everything in the past, but when they heard his name and knew that he was nearby, her heart would still be in a mess and she didn’t know how to deal it with. What should she do? What could she do to completely get him out of her life?

In the beginning, she had always thought that she was an invincible person who could make money from nothing. When something happened, she never needs to rely on others. She could deal with everything by herself.

Therefore, her parents had trusted her since she was a child. They believed that she was a good girl who was independent and resourceful.
