Chapter 338: Chapter 338 I will make sure you lose miserably

After RK took his seat, he raised his head to flash a smile at Carson.

"Long time no see, RK!" Carson appeared to be nitwitted as before.

"Long time no see, Carson Vives." After the waiter approached their table, RK ordered a cup of coffee.

"You are no different from before."

"You haven’t changed either." RK could tell that the conversation between the two of them was heading in a boring direction.

"Do you remember the basketball match before graduation?" Carson took the initiative to ask.

"Yes, I do."

"Do you remember how my legs were injured? It was you. You are the one who caused it."

"It’s none of my business if you hurt your leg after not being able to accept the fact that you failed." RK retorted in an ice-cold voice. It was obvious that Carson wanted nothing more than to come up with a reason to fight with him.

"It’s your business. I say so." Carson started throwing an unreasonable tantrum.

"What do you want then?" RK’s tone was indifferent as if he couldn’t care less about his provocation.

"Nothing much. I am back to find fault with you." Observing the nonchalant response, Carson was infuriated by RK’s disregard for his anger.

Although RK used to be cold and arrogant, he had, at the very least, regarded him as his opponent. What was he trying to imply with his, "I am fine with anything. Do as you please" attitude? Was RK looking down on him? D*mn it!

"Carson, I will very much welcome your return. I, too, look forward to competing with you again, but I don’t want you to get my personal life involved." After pondering on it, RK felt that he need to draw a clear line with Carson. Since there were things he didn’t want to add to their fight, he would choose to ignore him once and for all!

"What are you talking about? Don’t you understand? I am just trying to find fault with you. Not only in your career but also in your private life. I will never let go nor miss out on anything related to you."

The corners of Carson’s lips raised to a smirk. He was well aware of how much RK value the RK group.

RK could easily rebuild a stronger company, but he could never find another son or daughter, or the woman in the hospital! He was kneeling aware that RK couldn’t be as fearless as he used to be. Once RK established a family, he would have weaknesses and worries. As such, he could make use of the point to defeat RK with ease.

"Then give it a try. I will make sure you lose miserably." With that, RK got up and left without another word.

Carson sat in his seat, sipping his orange juice as he fell lost in thought.

When he was in college...

There was an excellent student in psychology who did a test on him...

The test results acknowledge the fact that boys like him, who were seemingly tough on the surface but had a close preference for orange juice, were purest deep within their hearts.

Back then, he had laughed it off and jeered at the top student in psychology for being so so...

Right now, he was beginning to realize that he was much more sincere than RK. RK was gentle and refined even when giving a threat. Although he might appear dignified and poised, to be honest, he was a beast, a wolf hidden under sheep’s wool.

Fortunately, he had something on RK right now, so he could go against him without any worries. Once RK had his guard down by the slightest, he could decisively take action and seize RK’s weakness. He would then waste no time to make sure RK lived a life worse than death and beg for mercy on his knees. Ha, ha, ha...

Just as the thought of the scene delighted Carson.

Stella turned on her laptop and was captivated by her thoughts, yet she had not the slightest idea about what her next plot would be. After lying on the bed like a corpse for a while, she looked at the time. 9:40 p.m. Great. RK was wandering around having fun, abandoning her alone. Believe it or not, believe it or not, she would...

Deep down, Stella understood that she seemed to have nothing that could threaten him.

Since he was willing to stay and take care of her, he had done his best, not to mention the fact that he seemed to have no reason to stay. How could she have the right to threaten him? They obviously had no relationship in the slightest. She was at most considered his ex-wife and the mother of his son. There was no reason that he had to take care of her.

It was then Stella realized that she had been too blinded...

It was time to see through reality. There wouldn’t be long-term results between her and RK even without the involvement of Sophia.

She couldn’t have a long-term relationship with someone who had already abandoned her once. Not only she could not accept it, but she could not let go of the past either...

Even if she had decided not to hate him any longer...

She had decided not to investigate the incidents from six years ago, but it did not indicate that she could continue to stay and get into a relationship with RK as if nothing had happened.

Yet, she wondered why she had grown so dependent on RK during that amount of time. It was not what she would do. She wasn’t the kind of girl who could be tamed with a little coaxing. She wasn’t the kind of girl who could be easily tricked away by a casual sentence from others. It was a long time since she had grown into an adult, so she failed to understand what she had been avoiding during that period. Why did she insist on wanting RK to appear beside her? Was it the decision she had deep in her heart? It took her so long to rediscover her rationale...

She must have gone mad. She had to stop it as soon as possible.
