Aden felt that he had gotten to know RK again that day.

In the past, no one could ever imagine RK doing the work of waiting on someone, such as combing their hair, washing their face, and applying facial masks. "Aden, go fetch Adrian and get people to guard outside the ward. If Tristan comes, stop him outside, and don’t let him harass me."

After hearing RK’s words, Aden had no choice but to do as he was told. He obediently ran to the kindergarten to pick up Adrian.

Adrian had just started school and was not in a good mood. He walked to the car with Alia. To be honest, it was not that he had never tried to run away. He had even tried it in kindergarten. Aden motioned for the driver to take Alia away then got into another car with Adrian.

"Uncle Aden, why are you here?" Adrian was very surprised to see Aden.

"I will take you to see Darling, okay?"

"Ah? Darling? Uncle, will you take me to find Darling? Bad Uncle doesn’t know, does he?" Adrian asked cautiously.

"Well, it was Bad Uncle who asked me to come. Darling is sick. Adrian, can you go and wake her up?"

"Darling is sick? How could it be? Darling is usually healthy." Adrian had a look of disbelief on his face.

"Darling fell. She is in the hospital now and needed to be taken care of by you, Adrian. However, you have to promise me that you won’t cry when you see her." Aden was very afraid that when Adrian saw Stella, he would not be able to accept it and cry, so he reminded the boy in advance.

"Don’t worry. I am very strong, and I won’t cry," Adrian promised firmly.

Aden sighed. Adrian didn’t know what was going on with Stella. When he saw her later, Aden didn’t know how much the boy would cry.

The car soon arrived at the hospital. Aden carried Adrian to the floor where Stella’s ICU was located. When they entered the ward, he could feel Adrian trembling slightly in his arms.

Adrian was just a child. In the current situation, even an adult couldn’t guarantee that he would not be indifferent. The matter was a big blow to Adrian.

Adrian climbed out of Aden’s arms and run to Stella’s bed. The doctor was not very sure about Stella’s condition. He said that her condition was very unstable, and the possibility of waking up was much lower than before. He said that it was like the patient had given up and didn’t want to wake up. RK had no other way but to get Aden to bring Adrian there. Otherwise, Stella might not wake up.

"Darling... Darling... Darling, what’s wrong with you? Did you fall? If you are so careless, I will ignore you in the future." As Adrian spoke, his eyes were full of tears. He remembered that he promised Uncle Aden not to cry, so he tried his best to hold back his tears. Then, he kept holding Stella and called her, "Darling, there was an exam in kindergarten, and I got full marks. The teacher praised me for being very smart. Darling, look, I got full marks!"

As Adrian spoke, his tears fell. In an instant, he lost the demeanor of a little man and burst into tears as he clung to Stella’s chest.

Who was crying? Was it Adrian? Why did he sound so sad? No, she couldn’t let Adrian cry. Maybe he had been bullied. Was he hiding now, waiting for Darling to save him? She must rush out of that annoying place. Adrian was waiting for her. She still wanted to get even with RK and take custody of Adrian back so that he could go home with her. No, she couldn’t lose.

Then, RK saw that Stella’s eyelids seemed to have twitched.

"Hey, Aden did you see that? Stella’s eyelids seemed to have moved.

"Yes, yes, I saw it!"

"Doctor, doctor!" RK called the doctor over. The doctors and nurses immediately rushed over and examined Stella for a while. When they came out, they have a sigh of relief when they saw RK.

"It’s a miracle. The patient is out of danger and will wake up in a few days. Congratulations!"

RK happily circled with Adrian in his arms. Adrian was so happy that he laughed foolishly. For the first time, father and son got rid of the grudge between them and cheered together whole-heartedly.

Aden also smiled.

All of this was wonderful. It was the first time RK felt that God was taking care of him.
