Adrian’s words stung RK’s heart.

Adrian lay on the bed in disappointment. He looked upset, which made RK very helpless.

"I will bring Alia here to play with you, okay?"

RK knew that he needed time to build up his relationship with the child. He wasn’t in a hurry to let Adrian admit his status so soon. It would take time. He would give Adrian enough time to accept him.

RK said a few words to Adrian and left. Adrian began to eat snacks unscrupulously again.

When Tristan visited Adrian, the boy and Alia were having a good time. Tristan wondered why Stella was not there with the two children. When he asked Adrian about this, he found out that Stella had been working overtime these few days and had no time to take care of her son.

Tristan helped to clean up Adrian’s toys. When he called Stella, he found that no one answered the phone. He also thought that it was because she was too busy, so he left without thinking too much.

The next day, Tristan was worried that Adrian had no one to take care of him. When he went to the hospital to see him, he found that Stella was still not there. She still didn’t answer her phone. Tristan suddenly had a bad feeling.

Tristan found the nurse who took care of Adrian. The nurse looked very busy, but she still explained things carefully.

"You are talking about Miss Stella, aren’t you? Miss Richard passed out because of her anemia, which happened yesterday. Mr. Kingston specifically told us not to tell Adrian."

Tristan asked about Stella’s situation and for her ward number. When he rushed to Stella’s ward, she was fast asleep. She had already woken up, however, her body was too weak and she could not get out of bed. She spent most of her time sleeping, and she fell into a deep sleep. She could only differentiate the day from the night by the strength of the light. The nurse told her that she would soon recover, but she had to pay attention to her health and rest more.

Tristan knows that what happened to her must have something to do with RK.

After sleeping for a few days, Stella finally regained consciousness. Just as she was about to get out of bed, Tristan stopped her and said, "Don’t rush. You just woke up and can’t walk around!"

"Adrian is fine. You don’t have to worry." Tristan put two pillows behind Stella to let her lean against them and poured her a glass of water patiently. "You don’t want Adrian to see you like this, do you?"

Stella asked, "When can I be discharged?"

"Soon." Tristan took the cup from Stella’s hand and asked, "Stella, what happened?"

"RK, he... I am afraid he will take Adrian away!"

RK had gone too far this time. Normally, he did not seem to be such an aggressive person. Why did he have to grab hold of Stella and not let go this time?

Was it because he wanted to reunite with Stella? Or was it simply because he wanted his son to return to the Kingston family?

Tristan felt that he needed to have a good talk with RK.

At noon, Stella was sitting on her bed and reading a book when she heard someone knocking on the door. As soon as, she looked up, she saw Aden’s face.

"How are you? Are you feeling better?" Aden put down the flowers he brought and sat on the chair in front of the bed.

"I am feeling much better. Thank you..."

"Adrian has been crazy recently. You don’t have to worry about him anymore. He is like a wild horse that had been taken off," Aden joked.

"I know he couldn’t be idle and could not say quiet for a while." Stella smiled helplessly. I have been making things difficult for him recently."

"That’s right. It’s not like you don’t know RK’s temper. He won’t change his mind no matter what the decision is."

"I know, so want to win the lawsuit. I don’t want Adrian to be wronged by him!"

Looking at Stella’s stubborn expression, Aden felt that she and RK were indeed a family. Even their temperaments were so similar. It was unreasonable for the two of them not to be together.

"Don’t worry. That guy doesn’t marry Sophia!" Aden said confidently.
