Chapter 328: Results of The Trip

Lyan stood atop a ridge overlooking the sprawling landscape of the mountain tribes. The last several days had been a whirlwind of activity, negotiations, and solidifying his newfound leadership. Uniting the tribes under a single banner was no small feat, but with determination and strategic thinking, Lyan had managed to bring together a once-fractured people.

The first order of business had been to establish systems and rules to ensure peace and cooperation among the tribes. Lyan had spent countless hours with the tribal leaders, discussing and drafting a code of conduct that would prevent raids and promote unity. The most crucial part of the new system was the Council of Chiefs, where representatives from each tribe would gather to discuss issues, resolve disputes, and make decisions collectively. This council would meet monthly, and any tribe found breaking the rules would face collective punishment from the other tribes.

Lyan also introduced a new system of trade and resource sharing. Each tribe had its unique strengths—some excelled in hunting, others in gathering, and a few in crafting. By encouraging trade between tribes, he ensured that everyone had access to the resources they needed without resorting to violence. The tribes could exchange goods at a central marketplace, which would also serve as a place for socializing and bonding.

Additionally, Lyan implemented a mutual aid system. Tribes that faced natural disasters, such as harsh winters or droughts, could rely on the support of their neighbors. This sense of community and interdependence was something new to the mountain tribes, but they embraced it eagerly, recognizing the benefits it brought.

Ranching and farming were new concepts to many of the mountain tribes, but Lyan saw their potential. He worked closely with each tribe, analyzing their land and determining the best crops and animals to raise. In the fertile valleys, he suggested growing hardy crops like barley and potatoes, which could withstand the cooler mountain climate. In areas with more open grasslands, he introduced sheep and goats, animals well-suited to the terrain.

The tribes took to these new ideas with enthusiasm. Under Lyan’s guidance, they built pens for livestock and planted the first seeds. Lyan walked through the fields, offering advice and encouragement. He felt a deep sense of satisfaction seeing the tribes working together, sharing knowledge, and helping each other.

In just over a week, the changes were evident. Fields of green sprouted where there had once been barren land, and the bleating of goats filled the air. The mountain tribes, once known for their fierce independence and frequent conflicts, were beginning to see themselves as part of a larger, united community.

With the systems in place and the tribes adjusting well, it was time for Lyan to return to Grafen. He selected three women to accompany him as representatives: Lara, Tara, and a formidable chieftain named Sigrid. Sigrid was a tall, imposing woman with long, blond braids and piercing blue eyes. She had earned her position through sheer strength and cunning, and her presence would ensure that the mountain tribes’ interests were well-represented.

Lyan and his companions set out for Grafen, the journey taking them through the rugged terrain they had come to know so well. Alongside them rode twenty mountain tribe archer cavalry, their presence both a symbol of the new alliance and a practical means of communication and defense. The archers, skilled and silent, moved like shadows, their horses sure-footed on the rocky paths.

During the journey, Lyan couldn’t help but reflect on the events of the past days. He had spent time with many of the mountain tribe women, fulfilling their desires for his seed. The experience had been both exhausting and exhilarating, and he found himself thinking fondly of the strength and passion they had shown. Despite his attempts to hide his perverted side, Lyan knew he wasn’t fooling anyone. His companions, especially the women, seemed to understand and accept him as he was, which only deepened his connection to them.

As they neared Grafen, the familiar sight of the castle came into view. The massive stone structure stood as a testament to Lyan’s efforts and the unity he had forged. His companions, Josephine, Alina, Belle, and the others, let out sighs of relief, eager to be back home.

The gates of Grafen opened, and the group was greeted by the castle’s servants and guards. Their eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the mountain tribesmen and the three women who accompanied Lyan. Whispers of curiosity and awe spread through the crowd as they watched the new arrivals.

"Welcome back, my lord," a servant said, bowing deeply. "We are pleased to see you return safely."

Lyan nodded, his eyes scanning the familiar faces. "Thank you. It’s good to be back."

As they made their way through the courtyard, the monsters inside the castle emerged to greet them. The skeletal warriors, their armor clinking softly, bowed in unison. The acid ants scuttled forward, their antennae twitching in recognition. The winter wolves, their fur shimmering in the sunlight, bounded over, their tails wagging with excitement.

"Look at them," Belle remarked with a smile. "They missed us."

"Seems like they were worried we’d never return," Alina added, chuckling.

Lyan couldn’t help but smile. "We were only gone for a few days, but I suppose it felt longer to them."

The three women from the mountain tribes watched the scene with wide eyes. Sigrid, always composed, raised an eyebrow. "You have quite the... diverse household, chief."

Lara and Tara giggled, clearly amused by the sight of the enthusiastic monsters. "They love chief," Tara said simply. "Just like us."

Lyan led the group inside, where the warmth and familiarity of the castle welcomed them. The hallways were filled with the comforting hum of daily life, the scent of cooking food wafting through the air. The castle’s inhabitants greeted them with nods and smiles, though their curiosity about the mountain tribesmen was palpable.

As they settled back into the routine of castle life, Lyan gathered his companions in the main hall. The mountain tribe representatives stood beside him, their presence a reminder of the alliances he had forged.

"We have much to discuss," Lyan began, addressing the gathered group. "The mountain tribes are now our allies, and we must ensure that this alliance is strong and beneficial for everyone involved."

Josephine nodded, her eyes sharp with interest. "What do you propose, Lyan?"

"First, we need to establish regular communication between Grafen and the mountain tribes," Lyan replied. "Our archer cavalry will serve as messengers and scouts, ensuring that we are always aware of each other’s needs and any potential threats."

Alina crossed her arms, her expression thoughtful. "How many tribes are we talking about, exactly?"

"There are ten tribes in total," Lyan explained. "Each tribe has pledged their loyalty to our cause. In total, we have around 1200 mountain tribesmen under our banner, ready to defend and support Grafen."

Belle’s eyes widened in surprise. "That’s quite an army."

Lyan nodded. "It is. And we must ensure that they are integrated into our plans effectively. The Council of Chiefs will help with this, as each tribe will have a voice in our discussions and decisions."

Sigrid stepped forward, her presence commanding. "We are here to serve and support, chief. The tribes have put their trust in you, and we will do our part to uphold that trust."

Lyan smiled at her words. "Thank you, Sigrid. Your support means a great deal."

With the discussions concluded, Lyan felt a sense of accomplishment and anticipation. The future held many challenges, but with the strength of his companions and the unity of the mountain tribes, he knew they could face anything.

As the day turned to evening, Lyan stood on the balcony of his chambers, gazing out over the land he had worked so hard to protect. Lara and Tara joined him, their presence a comforting reminder of the bonds he had forged.

"It’s been quite a journey," Lyan mused, his voice soft.

Lara nodded, her hand resting on his arm. "And it’s just beginning. We have much to do, but we will do it together."

Tara smiled, her eyes filled with determination. "We make strong future. Together."

Lyan took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his responsibilities and the strength of his resolve. "Yes," he said quietly. "Together, we will build a future where our people can thrive in peace and unity."

As the first stars appeared in the sky, Lyan felt a sense of calm and purpose. The journey had been long, but it had only just begun. With his companions by his side and the mountain tribes united under his leadership, he was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

"It’s time to get back to work," he said, a determined smile on his lips. "There’s much to do, and together, we will make it happen."
