But now the ghosts have 2 types of power boosts, The first is that they can access the core of the possessed body and boost powers temporarily while they would be weakened for a period afterward but they can recover from it. Another is a greater boost which is a last-ditch effort and can only be used for one time.

As for the thing about inheriting a random memory upon successful possession and 2 ghosts attacking a single soul together to make the chances of possession greater by 50% is self-explanatory.
