“Now, is the Watcher Volcano re-emerging?”

As the Big Man said this with disbelief, on the sea area ravaged by the lava, several horrifying auras that almost caused an Extraordinary Storm flashed by. A group of officials in red hats, wearing the official Extraordinary uniforms, were simultaneously collecting several “Curios.”

The sudden appearance of powerful artifacts did not cause a disturbance. The Extraordinary individuals and some Extraordinary Organizations attracted by the great commotion recognized these so-called “Red Hat Dogs.”

They are the official Extraordinary Institution of the Maya Empire, evolved from a historically violent institution, the “Blood Helmet.”

Due to its gore-filled official title and the infamous history of the empire’s foundation, they are privately referred to with contempt as the Red Hat Dogs.

The Maya Empire, one of the neighbors of the Southern Continent as well as Divine Eagle Federation, and also the most powerful of them. Its strength is far inferior compared to the Federation, yet sufficient to intimidate several small countries in the Southern Continent or even further south.

This Maya, however, has no relation to the true “Mayans.”

They are the descendants of sea pirates, invaders, and exiled criminals from the Old Continent. In order to smoothly rule the vast native population of the Southern Continent, they shamelessly and brutally adopted the Maya name for themselves. It was effective, though quite despicable.

After using several Artifacts, a few Red Hats reported to their leader, a young man two meters tall with exceptionally long arms, lowering their heads slightly.
