This was a middle-aged Caucasian man, well-proportioned, even somewhat sexy, his features scholarly with a thick beard, but what was most striking were his eyes, which bore an outward, wisdom-filled glow of affinity.

Even without any Extraordinary Power, this guy could have made quite a career.

Pyramid selling master, professional scammer, cult leader… Tang Qi’s mind listed a string of professions, every one of them the sort that warranted imprisonment.

And once he possessed Extraordinary Power, everything became even more terrifying.

Tang Qi tried to ignore the disgusting smell, disregarding those stark white bodies, his gaze entirely focused on Charlie Lutson, who was half-kneeling on the bed, enjoying the pleasures of flesh entwined even as he directed the “Famine Variant” to capture members of Blue Lion Society.

Unsurprisingly, a strong ghost light surged at this moment.

Having seen one of the main characters, Tang Qi didn’t linger long.

Trying hard to suppress the killing intent rising within him, Tang Qi began searching for the target to rescue.

The kidnapped three children, as well as other innocent humans.

After an initial search turned up nothing, Tang Qi almost thought the sacrifice had already started.

However, seeing Charlie Lutson still directing those Famine Monsters, trying to capture members of Blue Lion Society, he quickly realized, the sacrificial ceremony must be in its final phase, but likely hadn’t started yet.

Charlie Lutson was trying to capture as many Extraordinary individuals as possible, throwing them into the Blood Maze, desperately attempting to replicate the achievements of his predecessors from the Dark Age.

Tang Qi didn’t leave this so-called den of licentious hell, the prayer hall. Since Charlie Lutson was here, the place of sacrifice must be here too.

People like Tang Qi, Hall, Sith, had many ways to resist enchantment.

Even though Charlie Lutson, unlike other Famine Variants, doesn’t require a long preparation to use his abilities, reciting revered names, and undergoing transformations, his other abilities are very weak.

An unctuously grotesque and terrifying voice emanated from the mountain of fat.

Then, under Tang Qi’s gaze, filled with either horror or sympathy, Charlie Lutson resignedly lay down, the item that might collapse at any moment soon submerged by the mountain, and the bed, seemingly made from some Extraordinary hardwood, began to emit groaning sounds of “creak creak”.

Charlie Lutson looked up delightedly, glancing at him, and immediately began chanting a Spell.

“Boom~”

Accompanied by nauseating murmurs, the small passage of the Blood Maze suddenly expanded, soon enough to accommodate one person to enter.

“Throw him in!”

Charlie Lutson’s command came, but an unbelievable scene occurred.

Those “Famine Variants,” did not throw the high school student into the passage; in fact, they contorted and disappeared.

Charlie Lutson, seeing this scene, felt an intense harbinger of danger at the core.

“Jessica~”

Instinctively, Lutson called out to his terrifyingly powerful wife.

Unfortunately, it was too late.

“Red!”
