Lord of Mysterious Wizard -
Chapter 374: 363 Evil Seed
Chapter 374: Chapter 363 Evil Seed
Library Tower, fourth floor, the once tidy residence was now thrown into chaos.
Tang Qi was drinking a Transcendent hot beverage while seemingly bored, studying the recipe book “Extraordinary Creature Cooking Guide.”
After flipping through a page, Tang Qi glanced at the two battling figures that were gradually fighting their way into his meditation room; the rest of the place had mostly been trashed.
Half an hour before, he had returned from the Ancient Castle Bureau.
He had not expected the Little Fairy to follow him, although Tang Qi could use Secret Realm Magic to expel it.
Nevertheless, in the end, he did not do so.
Elves are an ancient and proud Extraordinary Creature.
This meant that they could not be confined, especially since their wisdom was no less than that of humans. Therefore, the so-called “elf taming” was hardly feasible, with the more pureblooded elves being even less likely to be subdued.
Vilnas Fairies are probably the elven group closest to the Ancient Elves that still exists.
This was probably why Rafael and others did not stop it even though they had the chance.
With Jason’s strength, he could have stopped it in an instant and kept it forcefully at the Ancient Castle Bureau.
But the consequences would likely have been a frenzied Elf Infant killing some agents before being killed.
Or it could be imprisoned only to die of depression.
Actually, the latter was the main reason for the gradual disappearance of the Fairy Clan because of their exceptional wisdom, beautiful appearance, and strong Magic Talent. During the Age of Ignorance, the Dark Age, various elven groups were the top choice as pets for many strong beings.
In the dramatic “fairy capture movements,” many elven groups were wiped out.
The captured elves hardly ever succumbed. Their extreme Magic Talent also meant that they had terrifying magic resistance. Ordinary “hypnotism” or Illusion Witchcraft was useless against them.
Eventually, they were largely wiped out.
The Transcendents who were keen on this had to stop.
“Elves will not be enslaved!” This view was publicly recognized by the Mysterious Side.
Old Coulson, Rafael, and the young polymath Jennifer clearly knew this point.
And Jason, due to his Tilos Demon Bloodline, was hardly ever harsh on any Extraordinary Creature of the Order, Good Camp, let alone elves, a species loved by all.
“Thinking back, the information sold to me at the Mysterious Valley Market was really a bit of a rip-off.”
“Fortunately, I chose the Night Beast. If I had chosen the mother of this Little Fairy, the result would undoubtedly have been terrible.”
“Hmm, choosing the Centaur girl would have been even worse. They are gregarious, and although you could indeed obtain a loyal Centaur if you were to capture one successfully, the condition is that you must not be turned into a beehive by their arrows.”
After a few moments of thought, Tang Qi’s gaze fell again to his side.
There, a shadow was writhing restlessly.
Obviously, the Night Beast also wanted to join in.
Tang Qi showed a helpless expression, sent over a thought, and asked whom it intended to support.
Logically, it should be Gluttony, as the two got along pretty well.
But it’s different when it comes to an elf; even in the world of Extraordinary Creatures, their affinity was championship level.
The answer from the Night Beast caused Tang Qi’s expression to freeze.
“What do you mean, ‘support whom’? I’m taking on both!”
The voice full of pride resounded in Tang Qi’s mind.
Hearing this voice, and then watching the “roar” of the Night Beast as it rushed out, using Shadow Magic to wrap up Gluttony and the elf, perfectly realizing its goal of taking on both, and then getting beaten up by a joint force of the elf and Gluttony, Tang Qi couldn’t help but doubt his own taste in selecting pets.
He sighed. Suddenly, Tang Qi remembered something good happening today.
After Nidya, two more Level 5 Danger Sources in the isolation zone had been downgraded.
They were Shay and the girl Lily.
The conditions of the two were somewhat similar, both possessing powers they could not control on their own, and both temporarily needing Tang Qi’s help to not go berserk.
Originally, they were supposed to stay in the Isolation Zone, but Professor Eva believed that they no longer posed a Level 5 danger.
Both should be downgraded to Level 4, allowed to leave the Isolation Zone, and move into a special school building in Dragon Heart Castle Upper District. They wouldn’t attend classes with other students but would be arranged individual courses until they could control their powers, at least to the point where they wouldn’t hurt others.
Tang Qi agreed with Professor Eva’s opinion, so today, two girls would enter Dragon Heart Castle.
Once they left, only eight Level 5 Danger Sources would remain in the Isolation Zone.
And the real threats that needed Tang Qi’s attention were actually only seven.
Because the “Hannahs,” these peculiar Lolitas, had their dangers resolved by Tang Qi long ago. According to the definition of Danger Source, they didn’t even count as Level 1. But their trouble lay in their bodies; when they received their powers, the Hannahs became charred beings.
Possessing strong powers, yet almost unable to interact with people or even leave their life support devices.
What Tang Qi needed to do was find a way, or a kind of “Potion,” to restore their forms.
Until then, leaving them in the Isolation Zone was a form of protection.
Aside from the Hannahs, there were seven left.
This also included “Dream Eater” John.
Before entering the Professional Level, Tang Qi was not even confident enough to investigate John’s condition, and would have faced judgement for entering the fourteen-meter area.
Maybe tonight he could try again?
As Tang Qi sat in his chaotic room, watching the melee between three Extraordinary Creatures, sipping his hot beverage, and pondering tonight’s visit to the Isolation Zone.
Suddenly, a surge of heat welled up in his arms.
Before he could take out the Principal’s Badge, the urgent voice of Professor Eva drilled into his ears.
In fact, at this moment, Tang Qi had already foreseen the calamity.
Isolation Zone!
The White Lighthouse left behind by Esmeralda’s mother used to emit a white, vast radiance, but this time, as its light swept over the Mist Zone, it was as though drenched in fresh blood, crimson and blinding.
Ding ding ding!
The alarm bell resonated throughout Dragon Heart Castle.
Three strikes signified that an incident had occurred, but not the kind of disturbance caused by “invaders.”
If it were the school from before, it would probably descend into chaos.
But now, all students, under the guidance of the teachers and caregivers, orderly entered the chambers protected by powerful guardian magic.
Several teachers with decent combat capabilities, along with Professor Eva, quickly made their way to the Isolation Zone.
“Sigh”
They had just arrived, not yet entered, when Tang Qi’s figure walked straight out of the void.
In the area lit by the blood light of the lighthouse, the white, churning mist revealed a stone pillar rising from the bottom of the lake, and inside the small house on top, something extremely horrific seemed to be taking place.
A youthful, childish voice forcefully pierced through the spatial magic, invading everyone’s ears.
“Let me go, I want to get out.”
“You will all die, I guarantee it, I am going to kill you.”
“No, this time I want to taste human flesh, it will definitely be delicious… giggle giggle giggle”
Aside from Tang Qi, the teachers, including Professor Eva, couldn’t help but feel fear at the sound of this innocent voice, that pure malice, like a poisonous snake, was surging out from the small house like a tsunami.
Roars and bellows, along with muffled sounds, made the cozy-looking wooden house seem as if made of rubber, flickering with light yet continuously distorting as if a monster inside was wreaking havoc, trying to break free from the wooden house’s confinement.
“She’s breaking the seal!”
Professor Eva’s expression was as grave as never before.
Almost the instant her words fell, the small house shattered.
“Boom~”
The witch’s wooden house, heavily fortified with sealing witchcraft, suffered a horrific force’s strike, instantly reaching its limit; splintered wood, like raindrops, shot explosively in all directions, forcefully blasting a vacuum zone into the Fog Sea area.
Other small houses previously obscured by the mist were partially revealed.
And on the completely cleared stone pillar, an incredible figure appeared.
A little girl!
About seven or eight years old, she wore a red and white checkered dress, with two golden braids, thick bangs covering her forehead, black little girl’s shoes, white socks exposing two smooth calves.
She was slightly bowing her head, her facial features hidden in the shadow.
Professor Eva looked at her, and in a trance, she saw the little girl timidly lift her head, a face so adorably cute appeared.
She remembered the process in which the little girl was adopted, apparently she personally went to an orphanage with very poor conditions.
There, she saw a little girl who had experienced a multitude of tragedies, like a little animal covered in wounds, emitting an aura of pity so strong it could soften even the most hardened hearts, while completely unaware that the eyes of all the children and caregivers around her held fear, as if seeing a devil.
“I-I’m scared, it’s so dark inside.”
“Take me away from here!”
“Okay!”
Just as Professor Eva was about to agree, at that moment a strong premonition of danger surged within her.
Just as she was about to cast a mental witchcraft to break free from the illusion.
A cold snort abruptly rose.
“Hmph!”
“Crack crack”
All illusions shattered at that moment.
Everyone took a step back simultaneously, their faces pale as they awoke, and then they looked back towards the depths of the Fog Sea.
The little girl was still there.
Her body, shrouded in a red glow.
The last line of defense left by the witches, which seemed to hardly confine her.
Her body slowly writhing, waves of malice so tangible they seemed to solidify, that primal, venomous aura, insanely gushed from within her.
Teachers at the school also had the privilege to view the student register, especially the sources of danger in the Isolation Zone.
They quickly found the information related to this little girl in their minds, and their complexions grew even paler.
Tang Qi, who had shattered the illusion, stood before everyone else, his gaze fixed on the little girl.
“Sigh”
“Boom”
Almost simultaneously, the little girl looked up.
Their gazes met.
At the moment Tang Qi felt an overwhelming malice, under his eyes, intense ghost light surged tumultuously.
The first Information Fragment exploded in his mind.
“Extraordinary Creature:… Evil Seed!”
