Chapter 370: Chapter 359: The Principal’s Worshipper

William Castle!

This is the true official residence of the Ancient Castle Bureau, the Extraordinary Organization of Secret Phoenix State, located in Secret Phoenix City and serving as its headquarters. In terms of authority, the Ancient Castle Bureau holds more weight than the Secret Phoenix Branch of the Bright Church.

From Jason and Rafael, Tang Qi learned that the “Master” of William Castle was the founder of the Ancient Castle Bureau and the current leader of Secret Phoenix State, a genius big shot born into one of the Federation’s top families.

Originally, Tang Qi knew the name of this big shot.

But as he was about to step through the gateway, when he tried to recall it, he could not remember it at all.

“The aftereffects seem to be bigger than I imagined.”

With a wry smile, Tang Qi entered the gateway.

Without the memories of the original host and Old Morgan, Tang Qi would be a “smuggler” who can’t find his way around, and it would probably take a long time to truly integrate into the Federation. It wouldn’t be as smooth as at the beginning, without any abnormalities.

But now, with the separation of Soul Fragments, memories had also been stripped away.

Some “common knowledge” that Tang Qi himself had not experienced, such as the name of the highest official of Secret Phoenix State, was known to Tang Qi because of the original host’s memory. Jason and Rafael thought Tang Qi knew, so they didn’t mention it, and now that part of the memory had been erased.

He went from knowing to not knowing.

Of course, there was indeed an impact, but it wouldn’t be too severe.

Outside a majestic and luxurious bronze gate shimmering with ripples of light, Tang Qi’s figure suddenly appeared.

“Huh~”

Almost immediately, Tang Qi felt the atmosphere tense up.

Gaze after gaze looked over from a distance, clearly triggered by the alert.

However, it was quickly resolved when Tang Qi took out a palm-sized badge, forged of some unknown metal, bearing the emblem of the William family – a lifelike salamander wearing a noble crown. A stream of Magic Power was released, activating the magic within the badge.

Accompanied by some kind of fluctuation, the alarm was lifted.

The gate opened silently, and before Tang Qi could step through, he saw a path made of white tiles stretching out ahead, leading to the castle that made the Mysterious Side of Secret Phoenix State tremble with fear — so lofty and enormous that it compelled a solemn awe.

Suddenly, the “tap, tap, tap” sound approached, as a lavishly decorated carriage slowly advanced.

Unmanned, the two horses pulling the carriage seemed to be some kind of “hybrid” Extraordinary Creatures.

Their seemingly slow pace quickly brought them in front of Tang Qi, where a blonde woman, dressed in a lady’s suit and with her hair in a ponytail, looking very capable, leapt down from the carriage.

At first glance, ghost light surged in Tang Qi’s eyes.

A Transcendent!

This was not surprising at all; William Castle was filled with Transcendents.

“Welcome to your arrival, respected Mr. Principal.”

“Thank you!”

As Tang Qi extended his hand, he glanced at the carriage and some subtle movement behind it.

With his eyesight, he quickly saw and guessed the reason.

The Ancient Castle Bureau was preparing a “welcoming ceremony” for Tang Qi.

If he were still the “Wild Artifact Forger” that Old Coulson and Jason had sought to recruit, there would not be such a reception, and having someone to greet him would be considered good enough.

But now, Tang Qi’s identity was the new principal of Merada Special Education School, and in a way, he was also a big shot.

To come to the Ancient Castle Bureau and receive a welcoming ceremony was quite normal.

However, Tang Qi didn’t like these formalities. Glancing at the special agent Jennifer’s badge, he said, “Miss Jennifer, I’m here to visit friends.”

“If possible, could the lady escort me to see Old Coulson, Jason, and Rafael, and if you could introduce me to the Ancient Castle Bureau along the way, that would be even better.”

After Tang Qi finished speaking, Jennifer was momentarily stunned.

Then, the formulaic enthusiasm in her eyes suddenly changed into a more personal and radiant smile. She spoke into a button on her collar, and as a result, the luxurious but aesthetically displeasing carriage, as well as some movements behind, dispersed.

This blonde special agent called “Jennifer” stood beside Tang Qi, gesturing forward with a charming smile on her already attractive face, then said, “Mr. Principal, just call me Jennifer. That’s what Jason and Rafael call me too.”

“Those two guys seemed to have gone out on a mission today, but Elder Coulson is still in his laboratory. Shall we go to him now?”

“Gone out?”

Tang Qi didn’t expect to miss them, but since he was here, it was proper to pay a visit to Old Coulson first.

This old gentleman, whose profession was that of a “Healer,” had also been of great help to Tang Qi.

For instance, the “Mysterious Contract Ears” that had blasted the Black Snake Witch to half disabled were provided by Old Coulson.

“Alright.”

Tang Qi was constantly getting used to the power of the Melting Furnace after his transformation and didn’t have a strong desire for combat. A little delay didn’t matter, so he readily agreed.

As he agreed, Tang Qi casually observed Jennifer’s special badge.

[Extraordinary Creatures: polymath.]

[State: Normal.]

[Information Fragment One: A young polymath who is also a genius Doctor of History at the Secret Phoenix University. She is knowledgeable in various forms of Mysticism, specializing in the origins of Cults and the Deities they worship, and is most interested in the mysterious knowledge of the Age of Ignorance.]

[Information Fragment Two: She has a list of idols, including the ancient polymaths, and among the living, there are a total of three, which are her father, Rafael, and…]

“Could it be?”

The second Information Fragment stirred a sense of wonder in Tang Qi’s heart.

The next moment, the anticipated answer was revealed.

“The new Principal of the Witch School!”

Without a doubt, the person from the Ancient Castle Bureau who came out to receive Tang Qi was, very “coincidentally”, one of his worshippers.

There’s no need to guess the reason for her admiration of Tang Qi; it’s clear from her Profession that she is indeed a true, young polymath.

This type of Profession shares one thing in common: a strong desire for knowledge, especially Mysticism.

And Tang Qi, with the glorious achievements jointly witnessed by the Ancient Castle Bureau and the Church: he didn’t fight directly but used “ancient mysterious knowledge” to kill two Demigods.

Even in the Dark Age, few of those polymaths who left behind brilliant Starlight could do so.

Just by looking at this, Tang Qi truly deserves the admiration of a young polymath.

After realizing this, Tang Qi looked at Jennifer again and indeed noticed something different.

This seemingly capable blonde agent is likely pretending; details all over her exude a stronger bookish aura. As she leads Tang Qi at the front, introducing him to her surroundings, she can’t help but steal glances at him from the corner of her eyes.

Moreover, she appears to be suppressing her emotions.

But this kind of suppression clearly can’t last too long.

As the two enter the main castle, walking through the halls bustling with agents and past a somewhat magical double-spiral staircase, they enter a quiet corridor, where rooms are lined up extending into the distance, with what appears to be Old Coulson’s Laboratory at the end.

Just past the first room, Jennifer finally couldn’t hold back and, looking up at Tang Qi with eyes seemingly sparkling with “curiosity”, she cautiously said, “Mr. Principal, may I ask you a question?”

“Indeed, a polymath cannot endure the Desire for Knowledge.”

This thought silently crossed Tang Qi’s mind.

Then he nodded without refusing, saying, “You can ask, but I don’t guarantee that I’ll know the answer.”

Tang Qi’s words were sincere, after all, one’s own people know their own affairs.

Today, the Mysterious Side of Secret Phoenix City recognizes Tang Qi as a person of immense scholarship, but he can’t take it seriously since his extensive knowledge is actually gained through cheating.

The existence of the First Generation Witch was discovered with his Special Ability of Insight.

And the “Profanity Blood Curse” was something he exchanged for at the Master of Furnace Projection’s place.

Jennifer obviously took Tang Qi’s words for modesty and, after getting permission, she quickly asked excitedly: “I’ve read Rafael’s report, and I’ve also heard from Jason about how you killed the First Generation Melada Witch.”

“The Profanity Blood Curse from the Age of Ignorance is too shocking. I’ve reviewed many records of the Brutal deities from that epoch, filtering out several names of fallen deities. Can Mr. Principal help me confirm which one it is?”

“They are Tar, symbolizing primeval Horror, Radis who delights in killing, Anu who destroys everything…”

“It’s none of them!”

After Jennifer finished counting, Tang Qi directly shook his head.

However, he didn’t keep her in suspense and unveiled the answer.

When exchanging for the Profanity Blood Curse, the Furnace Projection also provided some related secrets, and it was harmless to inform Jennifer at this point.

“The cursed deity’s name is Tun, a god of Brutality from an Exotic Realm.”

“Tun?”

“He’s not without…?”

A look of shock appeared on Jennifer’s face.

Clearly, Tang Qi’s answer did not match the records she had researched earlier.

But Tang Qi was unlikely to deceive her, so the error must lie within the historical documents she had researched.

Suddenly, Jennifer experienced the feelings of her father.

Professor Steven, a professor with a substantial reputation within the Federation and also a well-known pirate history enthusiast, especially held great fondness for the “Immortal Earl,” Samuel Winston, who had both the titles of pirate and Hero.

Jennifer had even seen many exquisite statues of the Immortal Earl in her father’s office, as well as some other artworks.

Each was very expensive.

Before the “Immortal Count’s Major Event” in Winston Town, those artworks seemed very majestic. But after Rafael’s report was published, poor Professor Steven experienced the Misfortune of having his worldview shattered.

The Immortal Earl was an incredibly beautiful man, a “Son of Love God” with both male and female qualities.

A part of the Federation’s pirate history was thus absurdly rewritten.

However, what Jennifer found strange was that although Professor Steven had put away those artworks, he did not discard them but instead placed them in his “personal viewing room.”
