Chapter 325: Chapter 320: Blood Curse (5000-word chapter, seeking monthly ticket!)_3

“Madam, I hope you still remember our agreement.”

The last words were clearly not for Merada, but for another lady in the nearly forgotten corner, an old woman.

Esmeralda!

Since the First Generation Witch appeared, no one cared about the Witch Leader.

This otaku woman who dreamed of becoming a “Bestselling Comic Artist” now completely looked like an old woman who had lost her divinity, despite still possessing vast witch knowledge, but now, she was no different from an old human woman.

She stared at her “Ancestor,” with uncontrollable sorrow in her eyes, but not a trace of anger.

Perhaps there was some at the beginning, but it dissipated after hearing her conversation with Tang Qi.

She just looked at Merada, her hoarse old voice resonating.

“My first half of life was spent doing things I disliked, establishing the Witch Group, plotting for the prophecy to come true, thinking it was to lift the curse in my bloodline, to allow the Merada family to continue on, as an unavoidable mission and responsibility.”

“I had some guesses, until just now I became certain, all of this was influenced by you, right? Including that ridiculous comic? Those memories, were all instilled by you, you always hid within my bloodline, until you, through sealing, transferred into Sally’s body…”

Esmerada did not seem to need an answer from the Ancestor, she just voiced tremblingly, murmuring.

Then, she raised her head, along with the other witches, and looked towards Merada, asking a question.

“Do you know Elena?”

“Huh?”

The sudden question startled Merada, but her puzzled expression let the witches know the answer.

Esmerada, still not giving up, continued, “How about Cynthia? And Iola, Isabella, Emily, Gloria…they all died, for those prophecies…”

Towards the end, her voice grew softer until it was inaudible.

A sadness that led to despair and decisiveness suddenly emanated from Esmerada and the other witches.

Sensing this bizarre change, Merada shuddered, a bad premonition emerging.

Her expression drastically changed, just as she was about to do something, suddenly all the Merada witches, led by Esmerada, simultaneously bowed their heads, covering their eyes with hands, and a bizarre murmuring suddenly echoed throughout Winston Town.

“Boom~”

In just an instant, a hazy light mixed with a trace of blood burst forth from an unknown void, completely enveloping Merada.

In this light, there seemed to be an indescribable great power.

Even though she was a Demigod Level strong, at this moment, she was frozen.

But her perception still lingered.

Thus, she could hear the voices of the witches, and also the voice of Tang Qi.

Let All Spirits Above Mystery witness!

We despise her body!

Despise her skin!

Despise her flesh!

Despise her marrow!

Despise her soul!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

An unimaginable scene suddenly emerged on the spot.

The grey-black Nightmare Space was forcibly torn open, creating a gap through which ghostly light flitted, seemingly leading to an unknown, endless realm. Within it, countless eyes of all sorts slowly opened at this moment.

Each pair of eyes seemed to contain a terrifying power beyond perception.

They did not descend; they merely watched everything below.

The Witches’ “Chanting” was about to reach its conclusion.

Tang Qi explained intimately, yet this moment was a prompt of death for Melada.

“In an Age of Ignorance older than the Dark Age, there was a malevolent, brutal deity who delighted in enslaving his descendants until all his offspring united and summoned all gods to witness and launch a Profanity Blood Curse.”

“They succeeded, and that god… fell.”

“Due to the excessively stringent conditions, the Profanity Blood Curse, though passed down, was seldom felt by the deities. Originally, you need not have felt it either, but since you possess the Doomsday Magic and are barely considered a Demigod, plus all your actions, you should receive this honor.”

As Tang Qi’s words fell, the Witches also uttered their last line.

“May All Spirits bear witness!”

“We… curse her!”

“Boom”

As the Witches uttered their last word, they collapsed one after another, with the leader Esmeralda spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood, yet a radiant smile emerged on her aged face.

They succeeded!

Using their own bloodline, they cursed their “Ancestor.”

Witnessed by All Spirits Above Mystery.

An unprecedented scene appeared.

In that unknown, indescribable, unperceivable realm, pairs of eyes lit up brightly like the starry universe, an unimaginable sucking force forcibly extracting a soul from Sally’s body.

That was an old woman, ridden with countless scars and exuding a thick scent of evil—the First Generation Witch Melada.

At this moment, she seemed to be enduring unimaginable pain, wailing and roaring madly as she struggled. Bursts of tremendous power erupted, even including the Power of Disaster, but none of these availed.

The force extracting her soul was completely indescribable, unfelt, and irresistible; she couldn’t even make a sound. After vain resistance, she twisted into a dim light, slowly dissipating under the endless starlight.

Melada has fallen!

As the starlight twinkled, the void gap slowly closed.

The Doomsday Magic was receding!

Once again crimson moonlight fell over Winston Town!

Everyone stared blankly at the now tranquil ruins before their eyes.

Is it all over?

Escaping from the curse, Tang Qi flashed forward to catch the slowly collapsing Sally.

Melter Power surged into her body, along with his voice. Upon perceiving that it was indeed Sally waking up and not the “Witch’s alternate personality,” Tang Qi’s tense nerves finally relaxed a bit.

To solve the problem of the Immortal Earl and Melada, the mastermind behind the scenes, Tang Qi had almost exhausted all his methods and trump cards. If another Misfortune Witch’s secondary personality were to emerge, Tang Qi felt he would throw in the towel.

While his thoughts flickered, his gaze inadvertently swept over the “Corpse” lying beside them, almost blinded by the ghost light, Tang Qi’s mouth curved into a slight smile.

“Good, it’s not too bad!”

With a thought, the “Gluttony” instructed by Tang Qi emerged from somewhere, its bright red tongue flicking out in a roll, swallowing “Diana’s Corpse” into its belly.

Similarly freed from the Magic Tide’s power, the Church members and Jason looked on at this scene, each revealing an expression of helplessness.
