Chapter 316: Chapter 314: Fairy Tale and Truth

Ancestor’s plan: as co-users of the “Corpse Holy Grail,” they divided the Holy Grail into twelve parts to prevent anyone of them from betraying. Then, sealed by the Red Robed Bishop with Divine Arts, they suppressed the Immortal Earl, and all twelve of them together feasted upon the Divinity.

From the root, the curse was to be lifted.

Regrettably, the plan was doomed right from the start.

One of the Ancestors, “Ragnar,” perished, but the Divinity inside him was not evenly distributed to the remaining holders of Divinity; instead, it was directly devoured by the Immortal Earl.

This Domain can dissolve the “Immortal” in an instant, and devour dozens of Transcendents in a single breath.

The four words Life Forbidden Zone are almost a perfect description.

The Immortal Earl and the Ancestors, they were still able to move because the “Divinity” inside their bodies, which was of the same Level as the Black Mud, balanced each other out.

But this also made them lose those terrifying abilities they had, which could easily destroy mountains and flatten the earth.

At the same time, this made the battle scenes even more disgusting.

When Ragnar died, even though the rest of the Ancestors felt the dreadful aura leaking from the Immortal Earl, just like the Black Mud under their feet and above their heads, the Earl himself was a “Pollution Source,” a stronger Pollution Source after absorbing Divinity.

“Eat her!”

The Ancestors finally broke free from their fear.

The green light in their eyes intensified to the extreme.

In a trance, they seemed to return to the tragic, horrific night of disaster centuries ago; they turned into devils, opening their mouths toward their kin.

Just like this moment, an Ancestor “thumped,” stamping on the Black Mud, pounced toward the Immortal Earl on all fours like a beast.

Then, the other Ancestors.

“Thump thump thump”

Amidst the splattering of Black Mud, eleven Ancestors, like “Hyenas,” ambushed.

The continuous sapping of Magic Power and Life Force did not prevent these Ancestors from turning into cannibalistic monsters.

But unlike that night, the ones they faced now were not the fragile “Subjects” but the lord himself.

And he was also a lord whose body sprouted fleshy tentacles.

Dozens of sturdy tentacles, pulsating with flesh buds and mouths that open and close, lashed out like whips; amidst the “bang bang bang” sounds, ten Ancestors were sent flying, rolling in the foul-smelling Black Mud.

A remaining one, a boy-like Ancestor.

He hadn’t reacted yet when a Phantom swept over and pounced, knocking him down with a thump.

Looking up, he saw a face that lured both men and women, her lips opened, revealing a radiant smile; she asked, “Guard Tailor Flower Farmer, then which one of my servants are you?”

“Beast Tamer, Count, I am the son of the man who nurtures various beasts for you.”

The boy, responded in a dazed manner.

However, he soon awakened from his “fascination.”

But it was too late.

A seductive mouth descended, its white teeth biting through his throat, his blood drained in an instant. The boy could only emit a hiss before drying up, turning into a husk that slowly sank into the Black Mud.

Another Ancestor, fallen.

“The taste is so sweet!”

With his bright tongue licking at the corners of his mouth, the Earl stood up and commented.

Above their heads, the Starlight ensnaring the “Corpse Holy Grail” extinguished two beams.

The Earl walked step by step, his originally thin body gradually became plumper; some male and female characteristics started to reappear on his chest and scantily covered pelvis, stirring strong, bizarre desires in everyone’s minds.

Behind her, crimson tentacles like blooming flowers, swayed and trembled.

Licking her lips, a playful and adorable expression appearing on her face, she seemed to recall something, then uttered words that made the Ancestors’ skin crawl.

“I’ve tried the appetizer, tasted the sweet soup, should the main course be served now…”

Amid her words, her eyes grew brighter.

If one were to ignore the “Abnormality,” anyone would think she is a food lover girl.

Only, her “delicious food” is all… people.

As she muttered, the meat bud tentacles behind her continued to swell and grow, one after another vivid tongues and white teeth emerged from the depths of the meat buds; they all aimed at the ten Ancestors, and at the playful sound of the Earl saying, “Let’s begin.”

Boom!

Tentacles surged forth explosively.

A horrifying and grueling scene unfolded in an instant.

The Ancestors frantically dodged, trying to approach the Earl, attempting to sneak attack, to surround and kill her.

But the result was, they couldn’t break through those tentacles; one by one, the Ancestors were captured.

Then, wrapped by the tentacles and served to the Earl’s mouth like “serving dishes.”

In front of everyone, she ate like the most elegant noble girl, every movement adhering precisely to noble etiquette; even calling the most scrutinizing court etiquette tutor could not pinpoint the slightest fault.

All these were taught by the real Samuel Winston.

The original promise the Earl gave her, was that he would make her the most beautiful, dignified “Countess.”

Now, she revisited these etiquettes in a special way.

The numbers of Ancestors decreased rapidly, all eaten alive by the Earl.

Every time she devoured one, the aura within her body grew stronger.

The starlight above the Holy Grail then extinguished one by one.

The sea of black sludge, the crimson moonlight, the meat sprout tentacles waving, the elegant feasting Immortal Earl… No one vomited; the Wild Transcendents unable to bear the scene had mostly died already.

Those remaining only felt a numbing chill on their scalps, body hair on end, as if an icy breath was freezing their souls.

“Stop her!”

Atop the makeshift Church, the Ascetic suddenly roared.

Beside him, a grave expression surfaced on the face of the Red Robed Bishop, his solemn voice resonating in everyone’s ears.

“According to the contract, we cannot intervene, and we also cannot retrieve the Holy Grail before all Ancestors have perished.”

Hearing the Bishop’s words, everyone was stunned.

What was this?

Had the Church shot itself in the foot?

They couldn’t intervene, and they couldn’t retrieve the Holy Grail before the death of the Ancestors.

Even reclaiming the Holy Grail wouldn’t improve the situation.

In the “Black Mud Domain,” the Earl was suppressed to mere savagely eating tentacle monster, but once the Holy Grail’s domain was lost, the Immortal Earl would immediately reach a “Demigod Level,” by which no one might survive.

From this perspective, the existence of the Domain seemed to still be a good thing.

The only peculiarity was, with each Ancestor being devoured, the Earl had sufficient strength to leave the Domain, yet she did not do so?

This question had just arisen in everyone’s minds.

The next moment, the answer was unveiled.

In that black mud ocean, the Earl transformed the eleventh Ancestor, an elderly woman, into a small meatball, stained with hair, teeth, and broken bones, elegantly placed into her mouth.

Behind her at that moment, the tentacles that grew full of flesh buds and mouths had swollen into a giant “sphere,” writhing and twisting, eventually blossoming into a flesh flower as expansive as the Immortal.

In front of her, there was still one living Ancestor, a young girl, or rather, the former Chief Maid of the Earl Castle, who was pierced through by tentacles and enveloped, leaving only her unconscious head exposed.

The Earl’s sole reason for sparing her seemed to be to prevent the retrieval of the Holy Grail.

At that moment, a strong Divine Radiance began faintly leaking from her, embodying a supremely evil and mad Divinity, even piercing the Domain’s shield, creeping into everyone’s minds, attempting to influence them.

If she were to ascend to Divinity, her camp would undoubtedly be evil and chaotic.

She was a “Half Evil God.”

However, at this moment, the Earl seemed completely oblivious to those outside the Domain, staring intently at them.

The Church, Jason and Rafael, alongside the Witches, as well as several powerful Wild Transcendents, and Tang Qi… all were ignored by her.

She was intriguingly gazing upward, fixated on the black mud continuously flowing from the Holy Grail.

That foul, mad scent, yet radiated an irresistibly strong allure to her.

She slowly walked over, extending a pale finger, seemingly desiring to dab a bit of black mud to taste it first.

This scene, even the Red Robed Bishop was stunned.

Black Mud!

Wasn’t this a Concentrated Liquid from a “Evil God Level” Exotic Realm Monster Corpse? Could this be consumable?

For any other Transcendent, the answer would surely be no.

But for the Immortal Earl, the answer suddenly became uncertain.

Just as the answer was about to emerge, a voice laden with mockery suddenly rang out.

It was that young girl Ancestor, she had awakened.

She looked at the Earl, her face undisguised with scorn, struggling to say: “Cough~ Cough… Count, what does it matter if you kill us, you can never retrieve all the Divine Blood, as long as you’re missing Merada’s part, you can never become a god, you can never resurrect your daughter Diana.”

“This is the punishment for your sins, hahaha.”

The Chief Maid’s words immediately stunned the Earl.

That beautifully puzzled face asked: “Diana? Why would I resurrect Diana?”

Before the Chief Maid could respond, she seemed to realize something. The puzzled look immediately turned into a radiant smile, then she uttered words that shocked the remaining Ancestor and all the Witches of the Merada Witch Group.

“So you all thought that? I returned from the Exotic Realm to resurrect my daughter Diana?”

“That sounds like a beautiful fairy tale.”

“Then have you ever considered where that vial of Divine Blood came from?”

At this point, the smile on the Earl’s face became utterly unrestrained.

“That vial of Divine Blood… is Diana!”

“Boom”

When the answer was revealed, all the “informed ones.”

Not just the witches, the remaining Ancestor, but also the Church and Ancient Castle Bureau, all were stunned.

Then, they simultaneously turned to Esmeralda.
