Chapter 313: Chapter 311 Holy Grail

As one of the over fifty states in the Federation, Secret Phoenix State once held a respectable position in the Old Calendar Era, a time when demons ran rampant and humans hovered on the edge of survival like “two-legged sheep.”

Holy Confessor, Martin Sims, was among them.

Samuel Winston was there as well.

If someone from the Mysterious Side was willing to write a book titled “When the Stars of Secret Phoenix Shined,” the Immortal Earl would definitely have a spot in it.

And now, this powerful figure from “history,” his silhouette and icy gaze, filled everyone’s minds.

The “Wild Transcendent Ones” who have been carefully hiding in various parts of Winston Town are like ants being stared at by a monster, frozen in place, daring not to move.

If someone is weak-willed, their mind starts to breed an intense desire to worship and grovel.

Wanting to become his fervent followers, to become his servants.

Is this perhaps his or her talent?

Wherever the Immortal Earl goes, he seems to never lack followers — and the most fanatical ones at that.

But the Earl obviously has no sympathy for his “servants.”

As that mysterious and powerful figure slowly emerged from the vortex, stepping on board the Immortal, between the Scarlet Moon and the sea of blood, he glanced at the figurehead soaked in the blood by Dwarf Demon Priests, appearing somewhat disdainful of the mess made on it.

With her thoughts, a mysterious wind blew by, peeling off the mottled traces of blood on it.

The figurehead, bearing the image of an unknown evil god, was restored to new.

It was not until this moment that she seemed to notice the twelve ancestral figures surrounding the Immortal.

She stared at the ancestors, but no one could penetrate the mask to see the real Samuel Winston.

Yet anyone could hear the arrogance and strong doubt in the voice coming from beneath the mask.

“Who are you?”

The battle hadn’t even started, and the ancestors were already hurt.

Each ancestor felt insulted because it was clear that Samuel Winston didn’t mean to shame them intentionally; he genuinely wondered: who are these twelve people that have stolen the power of Divine Blood from him?

However, he didn’t seem to be in a hurry to reclaim the “Divine Blood,” first casting a doubtful glance at the ancestors.

Then, the Earl’s gaze suddenly pierced through the void, landing on an “Island” on the secondary street.

There, transformed by Tree Demons into a giant tree, Esmeralda was leading the witches, while Sally had disappeared without a trace at that moment.

“Quick reaction!”

Tang Qi quietly commented from the shadows.

Everyone in the venue could appear in front of Samuel, except for Sally.

Because the young girl’s face almost exactly resembled Diana’s.

The ancestors and the witches were still in the dark, thinking that this return of the Immortal Earl was genuinely to kill all the ancestors and their descendants to reclaim the Divine Blood, to use it to resurrect his beloved, Diana Winston…

Unfortunately, the truth was not so.

To prevent the Earl from going berserk prematurely, Esmeralda indeed followed Tang Qi’s suggestion to hide Sally.

The treatment of the Merada Witch Group was vastly different from that of the twelve ancestors.

The Earl, recognized them.

Or rather, sensed the bloodline aura emanating from them.

“It smells like Merada. Are you her descendants?”

“Is she doing well?”

Ignoring the ancestors, the Earl looked directly at Esmeralda and asked a question.

He paused, not waiting for the Witch Leader to respond, and continued, “Don’t be scared, since you also carry the scent of Divine Blood, it implies that Merada similarly stole a portion, perhaps to survive and meet me, her master, once more?”

“For her sake, I could just strip you of your powers instead of killing you.”

“Ah, the count’s mercy, Merada must have really cherished this.”

“Once I deal with these thieves, I’ll pay her a visit to catch up.”

“Boom”

One second before, it seemed that the Immortal Earl, just freed from the Exotic Realm, had slipped into a “chatty” state.

Without any warning, he suddenly entered a Great Horror.

She turned her head and stared fiercely at the ancestors.

Each ancestor, at the same moment, locked gazes with a pair of insane, cold eyes brimming with endless allure, not knowing whether it was the Earl’s contamination or the terrifying aura he carried from the Exotic Realm Evil God “Dark Dominator.”

The twelve ancestors, powerful enough to utterly dominate “Professional Level,” started howling simultaneously.

Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!

The Divinity Radiance originally returning to their bodies began escaping on its own, and even as the ancestors howled and desperately tried to repress it, they could only slow down the process.

Centered on the Immortal, the scarlet world.

Bits of radiance continuously leaked from the ancestors’ bodies, the Divine Light Points, rushing towards the figure on the majestic figurehead bearing the image of the unknown evil god.

A voice full of mysterious allure echoed through Winston.

“All of this is mine, the name Samuel Winston is destined to be immortal.”

“You thieves have preserved it for so many years, now it’s time for the property to return to its rightful owner. To show my appreciation, I will take your souls, my servants are dead, and this time I wish to try having ghost servants, you should feel honored.”

Return of property?

Ghost servants?

This scene unfolded, as if confirming the Earl’s words: Divinity was all hers, the Ancestors were merely thieves.

Despite it being unintentional initially.

That night at Earl Castle, everyone was a victim.

The Ancestors, tainted with Divine Blood, possessed immense power even during the Old Calendar Era, but they also slaughtered and devoured others, including their kin.

Now, with just one look, the Earl wished to reclaim all the “Divinity” – how could that be possible?

In an instant, Tang Qi saw madness and determination in the eyes of the Ancestors.

In each Ancestor’s eyes, there flashed an unwavering resolve.

The Twelve Ancestors, comprising both men and women, the elderly, and also children,

Have changed significantly over the long years.

If they reverted to their original forms, such as one being a guard in Earl Castle, a flower farmer, a chef, or a tailor, perhaps Samuel Winston might recognize them.

But now, they were the powerful Ancestors.

Unfortunately, the Divinity possessed by the Ancestors seemed unable to compare with the Earl.

A conflict ensued, and all Divinity chose to merge into Samuel Winston’s body.

She didn’t even need to do anything, merely standing proudly at the bow of the ship like a “great Divine,” looking down upon everyone in Winston Town.

Almost a hundred high-level Dwarf Demons wiped out by the Ancestors previously now seemed utterly insignificant.

They screamed and wailed, but couldn’t stop the forces they had controlled and possessed for long years from escaping their bodies.

Undoubtedly, this elicited intense discouragement.

However, the Ancestors had not only changed externally; internally, they had transformed too, no longer guards, flower farmers, chefs, or tailors, they had long become qualified, powerful Transcendents.

In a terrifying scene, a big man wearing a red helmet wielding a battle axe lifted his head fiercely.

His battle axe aimed at Samuel, he roared:

“Attack!”

“Boom~”

Amidst the roar, the battle god Ancestor Ragnar, his chest suddenly ripped open, and something resembling an immensely radiant Curios suddenly appeared before everyone.

Advancing, the remaining eleven Ancestors did the same.

Their bodies split apart, and in a “gruesome” manner, extracted the same type of Curios.

It was a cup!

A holy, silver-white double-handled cup!

An intense and unparalleled Holy Light instantly neutralized Samuel’s divine attraction.

It also caused tremendous pain to the Ancestors.

Each cup beamed with a Holy Light of exceedingly high level; Tang Qi felt a threat equal to the “Power of Confession” left by Martin Sims.

Perhaps the Church wouldn’t officially categorize the Ancestors as part of the Evil Camp.

But these Holy Lights disagreed.

They caused enormous damage to the Ancestors, sweeping them in pain more severe than the earlier divine assimilation.

Yet, this didn’t stop the Ancestors. After extracting the “Holy Grail” from within their bodies, they simultaneously turned their gazes towards another “Island” amidst the blood-red expanse inside Winston Town.

A temporary church!

At some unknown point, the oppression there had vanished.

Above it, tens of human figures emerged.

The foremost one, strikingly in a solemn, majestic Red Robe, was an old man with white, curly hair and a face full of wrinkles, yet his eyes seemed capable of perceiving everything.

“Red Robed Bishop?”

Including Tang Qi, the same thought arose in everybody’s minds.

At his side, stood an Ascetic.

And his gaze, from a distance, fell upon Samuel Winston.

When their eyes met, the Earl snorted coldly while the Red Robed old man’s body trembled, with two streams of Blood Tears flowing down from the corners of his eyes.

Clearly, the Red Robed Bishop was no match for the Immortal Earl.

However, at this moment, the bishop smiled.

As if facing a dying “demon”, the bishop was about to extend his warm, purifying palm…

The Red Robed Bishop slightly bowed his head, and chants full of sanctity immediately began to resonate, dozens of priests and Ascetics behind him likewise bowing their heads, joining their chants with the bishop’s.

Boom!

Amidst the chanting, beams of holy light descended from the sky, enveloping the Ancestors and those twelve double-handled Holy Grails.

The Ancestors screamed even more miserably.

But simultaneously, a strong and immense premonition of danger suddenly overwhelmed Samuel Winston’s mind.

“Rumble”

For the other Transcendents in Winston Town, it was similar to witnessing the “Dark Dominator,” a fear induced by facing a presence far surpassing their own Life’s Level, a trembling born instinctively from their soul.

“The Ancestors and the Church have allied?”

Within the shadows, Tang Qi was shocked.

Meanwhile, his gaze penetrated the void and even the Holy Light, focusing entirely on those twelve “Holy Grails” before the Ancestors.
