Chapter 311: Chapter 309: Return (2nd update, seeking monthly tickets!)

Tang Qi borrowed the ability of the “Night Beast” to infiltrate the shadows, silently moving amidst the battlefield.

The descendants of the Twelve Ancestors, as well as their opponents, the high-level Dwarf Demons summoned in a special manner to Winston Town, failed to detect Tang Qi’s presence.

Both sides’ attention was entirely focused on each other, as yet another exceedingly brutal war began amidst the frenzied roars of the Dwarf Demon Priests.

This time, it seemed the high-level Dwarf Demons were also aware that there were no “Ancestors” among the Witch Group, and thus dispatched only two Advanced Dwarf Demons to make a showing, while the rest of the high-level Dwarf Demons poured all their extraordinary power from the Exotic Realm toward the descendants of the Twelve Ancestors.

If their powers were to be compared,

A “Bloodthirsty Dwarf Demon,” this type of high-level Dwarf Demon, would be roughly equivalent to an elder-level descendant of the Ancestors.

Therefore, once again, the Dwarf Demons gained the upper hand.

Their numbers were just slightly more than the remaining Ancestor Descendants.

In a space unseen to others, Tang Qi weaved through.

At his side, or before him, combat raged on. The living elder-level Ancestor Descendants, despite being on the losing side, were somewhat adapted to the power of the Exotic Realm. The battle was fierce for a moment, but the Ancestor Descendants did not collapse at a single blow.

Tang Qi first passed through the domain of the “Descendants of Gluttony.” Of the three elder-level Gluttons, one had already fallen. The female Glutton who had previously devoured a giant Dwarf Demon displayed horrific strength, single-handedly holding off three Advanced Dwarf Demons. Her massive jaws ceaselessly stuffed torn pieces of Dwarf Demon flesh into her mouth, the fresh blood resembling the most enchanting shade of lipstick.

Then, entering the nearly uncontrollable scene of the “Descendants of Lust” domain, Tang Qi suppressed the desire to open his eyes to the world, and in the next moment, he entered the area occupied by the Immortal Council.

His gaze fell directly into an Abnormality Domain where black and light interweaved, rendering the whole world into gray.

Inside, surrounding an altar, there was an endless fluttering of Moths.

But Tang Qi’s attention was completely captured by the eye hanging above the altar, emitting powerful Extraordinary Power, continuously bombarding the assaulting Dwarf Demons.

Vite’s Eye!

Inside it, enshrouded by the Purple Moon Radiance within the depths of darkness, a corpse was wrapped in black tentacles.

“Diana’s corpse!”

Tang Qi made no move. He needed to wait for the right moment. After all, the Night Beast was still in its Juvenile phase, and its Shadow Magic could not evade the penetrating power of “Vite’s Eye.”

The war continued, becoming even more gruesome.

The conflict that had occurred in Messer City couldn’t compare to the scenes now unfolding.

To some extent, this could be considered a battle between the Transcendents of Origin Blue Star and the Monsters of the Exotic Realm.

However, looking at the development, the Exotic Realm Monsters not only had the upper hand but were also about to end it all.

The elder-level descendants of the Ancestors were rapidly dwindling.

Though with each death, the power of those who survived increased significantly.

But this required a process, and in the thick of war, even the elder-level Transcendent descendants could hardly digest the newly assimilated power quickly, especially when the enemy outnumbered them by several times.

In the distance, observers such as Jason and Rafael, the strong members of the Church within the Church, some almost forgotten “Wild Transcendents,” and the Witches and Sally who had casually dealt with the two dispatched Advanced Dwarf Demons, were all stunned by the brutal atmosphere.

Tang Qi, at the core area of the war, watched with acute detail.

One after another, the elder-level strong fell before his eyes.

For example, the female Glutton who had attracted considerable attention with her formidable presence ultimately died.

Her death was grotesquely repugnant.

Several high-level Dwarf Demons laughed maniacally as they actively crawled into her mouth. Even being eaten did not stop them, and ultimately, they succeeded in bursting the strong fighter… to death.

Her body, like a small hill, collapsed with a “boom,” her fatty and massive abdomen torn open, revealing thick, mutated intestines and busted stomach, with severed bodies spilling out.

There was also a familiar elder-level Transcendent descendant from the “Anna Family,” whom Tang Qi had seen when entering Winston Town with Sally, the one permanently maintaining the form of a “Black Limb Pupa.”

He was swarmed and dismembered by several oddly-shaped high-level Dwarf Demons, his black phantom limbs consumed to nothing.

Soon, it was the turn of the one before Tang Qi.

The Vite Descendants, whose bloodline of extraordinary power was similar to “Hosts,” capable of quick proliferation and depriving other lives of their power, became completely ineffective against the dozen high-level Dwarf Demons that laughed uproariously as they surged in.

With equal-level Transcendents clashing, a numerical disparity almost guaranteed a predetermined outcome.

As the last “Vite Descendant” died, Vite’s Eye above the altar lost all its radiance and silently fell.

If it were other Transcendents, after annihilating their opponents, they would pick up the spoils.

But these frenzied Exotic Realm Dwarf Demons seemed to lack this notion.

The gigantic eyeball, upon touching the ground, rapidly shrank to the size of a normal Curio and rolled into the shadow beside the altar, mysteriously disappearing into the darkness.

The shadow that wrapped “Vite’s Eye,” just as it was about to quietly retreat, was suddenly stopped, as if it sensed something. Then, almost neglecting the risk of exposure, it twisted and stretched at the highest speed, leaving the Vite Descendant’s area.

No, leaving the battlefield.

The horror unfolded in the next moment.

The Dwarf Demons, having slaughtered the descendants of the Ancestors, began frenetically attacking the altar.

They seemed intent on shattering it, forcibly digging out the Twelve Ancestors possibly concealed within.

The goal of the Dwarf Demons was achieved.

Boom!

Without warning, an unimaginably brilliant radiance burst forth from the altar guarded by Vite Descendants. Several Advanced Dwarf Demons that had just climbed onto the altar were reduced to ashes amidst wails, without even the chance to struggle.

Within this radiance, an aura that any Professional Transcendant could sense emerged.

It was Divinity!

An overwhelmingly domineering and ancient Divinity!

As the first beam of Divine Radiance appeared, the remaining eleven altars erupted similarly.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The awakening had begun.

Consecutive Divine Radiance from twelve altars erupted, forming twelve pillars of light that seemed ready to pierce through the heavens, while the Dwarf Demons that were unbearably close, even within the radiance itself, vanished one after another.

They vanished so swiftly, like paper set ablaze by flames, fluttering, twisting, and dissipating into the air.

The twelve altars collapsed simultaneously into particles of light.

Within them, twelve figures wrapped in Divine Radiance entered everyone’s sight.

“The Twelve Ancestors!”

Both the Merada Witch Group and the strong members of the Church in the temporary church watched with grave expressions.

In Secret Phoenix State, it was impossible to ignore the Extraordinary Force of the Immortal Council and the Seven Ancestor Alliance.

Organizations like the Shepherd Sect were mere newcomers.

The Witch Group, despite its strong reputation, largely derived its status from Esmeralda, who appeared to be just a stay-at-home comic artist, but in reality, was a Witch Leader with great talent.

After all, the First Generation Witch had long vanished from Blue Star, a fact known by many factions.

Without the support of “Ancestors,” it was no wonder that the Immortal Council and the Seven Ancestor Alliance did not pay much attention to the Witch Group.

Now, the Twelve Ancestors had awakened.

These once famous powerhouses from the Old Calendar Era in the regions of the Secret Phoenix State, awakening from their slumber, returning to Secret Phoenix State, to this Land of Termination, Winston Town.

Enveloped in Divine Radiance, all that the onlookers could feel were the terrifying powers within and the faintly emerging symbols of aura.

The Ancestors were divided into two camps.

Seven auras that freely manipulated and toyed with desires represented seven sins, from which no life could escape—primitive sins integrated into the instinct of life, which no one could avoid. They merged and fought amongst themselves, subtly opposing the other camp.

These were five more powerful radiances, where all kinds of bizarre symbols took shape—a crossed battle-axe, a red helmet with a skull… a half-moon, a bat clutching a scroll… a white world, surging black spots… irregular mounds of flesh, a row of twisted, roaring monster faces… a shedding human figure, head held high, with a bright red mouth holding a moth…

At this moment, when the twelve figures simultaneously opened their eyes.

The frightening Divine Radiance covered the “Immortal” as well as that white Monster, the Dwarf Demon Priest, standing atop the Immortal.

Its power was slightly stronger than that of the High-level Dwarf Demons.

Unfortunately, it could not prevent itself from melting away like snow under the scorching sun, little by little.

Its wrinkled skin sizzled as chunks fell off, revealing the flesh within which rapidly rotted, and the bones began to emerge—it was walking towards Death.

But at this moment, its horrifying and disgusting face revealed an even more fanatical and triumphant expression.

It stood atop the lofty Immortal, looking down at everyone.

It began to laugh maniacally, a laughter filled with the satisfaction of a successful plot.

“Great Captain, your servant has accomplished the mission.”

“These foolish lowlifes have indeed awakened prematurely, releasing Divine power ahead of time. You can finally leave that damned place, returning to your homeland. Your humble servant will greet your return with every last drop of blood.”

“Pfft”

Accompanied by an ecstatic roar, the Dwarf Demon Priest suddenly thrust its hand into its own chest, ripping out a still-beating warm heart, stumbling towards the figurehead at the prow.

“Boom”

An ominous premonition took hold of everyone’s hearts.

The Twelve Ancestors, with their even sharper senses, did not need anyone else’s reminder.

A radiance more terrifying than before engulfed the Dwarf Demon Priest’s body with a loud noise.

But it was still a step too late.

As the Dwarf Demon Priest’s body came close to the figurehead, it abruptly paused, turning its head toward the Twelve Ancestors with a mocking smile.

Its arm detached on its own.

“Whoosh”

As the Dwarf Demon Priest vanished within the radiance, that withered claw holding the heart suddenly appeared above the figurehead.

With a “bang,” the heart was crushed, exploding into a cloud of blood mist containing immense Magic Power, swiftly merging into the figurehead of the unknown Evil God.

“Rumble!”

An unprecedented malice surged forth.
