Chapter 1789: Chapter 16 Rest_3

The first innate Cloud Ban of the Wind-Driving Staff is completely related to the Wind Path.

With both references, combined with the unique environment of the Wind Disaster, he could feel the state of the wind more profoundly. In this overlap, he felt an endless understanding of the wind in his spirit!

He sat cross-legged atop the Realm Membrane.

Sometimes like plucking a zither string, casually disrupting the winds blowing around him.

Sometimes using the wind as threads, weaving across, creating an unhindered path for Fanming.

At times wielding the wind as a blade, slicing through the void, causing countless gusts to extinguish.

Soft and strong at will, movement and stillness as he pleases.

Thus, under Wang Ba’s Wind Drive, Fanming carried the Little Cang World tirelessly across this seemingly peaceful yet perilous void.

While Wang Ba himself was fully immersed in the world of wind, gaining insights into the Wind Path at lightning speed.

Time slipped away bit by bit.

One day, two days…

One year, two years…

The wind howled outside the realm, but inside the Little Cang World, there arrived a first period of peace as it ventured into the Realm Sea.

Though years pass unnoticed within the Realm Sea, more than thirty years had swiftly elapsed inside the realm.

Fanming’s speed had noticeably slowed down. Even with the winds propelling it forward, the heavy burden of Little Cang World remained unbearable.

On the Realm Membrane, Wang Ba’s figure remained seated in place.

Dustless, with a dark bronze staff before him, its Spiritual Light flickering occasionally.

Inside the Taoist Field.

Jiang Yi furrowed her brows and withdrew her gaze.

She looked at Ling Weizi and shook her head slightly:

“He should still be cultivating. Without him, no one can make full use of these Hanging Talismans.”

Ling Weizi did not respond to this but glanced outside the realm, noticeably seeing Fanming’s large wing movements slow significantly, which deepened his look:

“I’m afraid Fanming may not hold up. If it stops, surrounded by no Chaos Origin Substance, replenishment will be impossible, which could be a big issue.”

Hearing this, Jiang Yi’s expression turned more serious, and she frowned:

“Since Wang Ba dared to venture in, he must have been prepared, but…”

She glanced outside the realm.

All these years, unable to relax, she continually watched for any dangers beyond the Realm Membrane while cultivating and observing the situation.

To her surprise, over three decades of flying, there was not the slightest abnormality outside the realm.

Yet this Wind Disaster Area seemed never-ending, as if despite flying for so long, nothing changed substantially.

Except for the faint specks pointable in the distant far reaches, she almost suspected that Fanming was just going around in circles at the same spot.

This made her respect the vastness of the Wind Disaster Area, while worrying that Little Cang World might be trapped here forever.

To be honest, at times she would rather encounter some World Eaters, at least those were living beings.

“But everyone’s progress over these years is substantial. With the Taoist Field and Realm Sea Star Chart, the effect is truly remarkable. Even Qi Yan and others are close to reaching Dao Domain Perfection in Class I…”

Ling Weizi, noticing the heavy atmosphere, slightly shifted the topic to other matters, words filled with admiration.

Busy with crafting Hanging Talismans, he had no time for cultivation, causing him, once equal with Qi Yan and others, to fall behind.

Jiang Yi nodded slightly:

“Now excluding me, there are already three in the Void Refining realm. Such progress, even in the Cloud Sky Realm, meets the top personal disciple standards of major sects… This Star Chart is truly an incredible Enlightenment Treasure.”

She could not help but sigh.

The three she referred to were Ji Ying, Liang Wuji of the Longevity Sect, and the Wu Monkey King from the Wheel-turning Temple of the Great Snow Mountain occupying a corner of the Taoist Field.

The former two had long achieved Immortal Ascension, with deep foundations compared to others, now aided by the Taoist Field and Star Chart, naturally leading to quick ascension into the Void Refinement Realm.

The latter had autonomously summoned the Thunder Tribulation shortly after Little Cang World and Fanming entered the Wind Disaster Area, stepping into the Void Refining realm.

The latter’s condition needed no elaboration, it was special.

The quick ascension of the first two undoubtedly attributed to the role of the Taoist Field, where cultivators, exposed to Dao Intention, indirectly enhanced comprehension, paired with Spiritual Energy nourishing the Primordial Spirit, and the insights from the Star Chart, leading to substantial daily progress in Dao Domain construction.

“The Taoist Field, the Star Chart, and that trip to the Guantao Realm…”

Ling Weizi added enviously.

“Indeed, exposure to another world significantly aids in understanding Dao Domain.”

Jiang Yi nodded in agreement.

The reincarnation in the Little Cang World journey had deepened her insights; though her Primordial Spirit had yet to fully recover to its peak, she surpassed even in Dao Domain theory.

“But it’s far from enough.”

Suddenly, the image of the Six-fingered Innate Divine Demon flashed in Jiang Yi’s mind, extinguishing any budding pride.

Refining Void Cultivators, though rare indeed, were too weak for free movement within the Realm Sea.

“No wonder it’s said that only at the Tribulation-Transcending realm can one roam freely in the Realm Sea.”

She sighed.

Just as she was about to speak, she suddenly sensed something and looked outside the realm.

On the Realm Membrane, the figure that had sat for so long had somehow stood up, holding the bronze staff.

“The Deputy Sect Master’s cultivation has ended!”

Ling Weizi exclaimed joyously.

Jiang Yi said nothing, her eyes fixed on the bronze staff in Wang Ba’s hand.

On the bronze staff, two mysterious patterns silently lit up.

As these two patterns illuminated, the dark surface of the bronze staff began to disintegrate, revealing the warm jade beneath!

Seeing this, Wang Ba, standing on the Realm Membrane, smiled and proclaimed loudly:

“Drive the wind across the seas, passing the East King’s abode!”

With the jade staff in hand, the turbulent winds around them suddenly calmed.

Like a subject meeting a monarch, bowing in reverence and not daring to move lightly.

Wang Ba caressed this jade staff, eyes filled with fondness.

The three innate Cloud Bans were now completely refined; he had thoroughly mastered this innate Dao Treasure, the ‘Wind-Driving Staff.’

Upon refining, he came to know the true purpose of the Wind-Driving Staff.

With a thought.

Outside the spherical protective shield, winds surged like waves, protecting Fanming and the Little Cang World.

Fanming paused in surprise, while Little Cang World detached from Fanming, standing in the void.

“For thirty-eight years past, but considering your toil, take this time to rest, for after this… there shall be no such leisure.”

Wang Ba stood with his hands behind his back atop the Little Cang World Realm Membrane, the jade staff hovering by his side.

A Chaos Origin Substance emerged from within the Little Cang World Realm Membrane, swiftly pouring into Fanming.

His gaze did not fall on Fanming but reached toward the distance.

Amid the winds, he had already heard something different; he could faintly feel that the time left for them in peace was running out…
