Chapter 198: Chapter 117: Murder Game
’The flying sand?’
Wang Jixuan’s Spiritual Sense extended further as his cultivation improved and his soul strengthened.
However, constantly using Spiritual Sense to probe at a distance outside his body would tire him out quickly over time, so during cultivation, he only let his Spiritual Sense naturally expand, passively sensing the movements of the surrounding environment.
Now, out of habit, he unfolded his Spiritual Sense, and the edge of it just happened to catch a tuft of sand being blown up.
"Mu Dan, thermal imaging scan! Target the surface military camp!"
"Yes!"
After a few seconds of delay, a dense array of thermal imaging silhouettes appeared on the projection screen before him, making his eyes blur.
Mu Dan’s pupils shone with a red light.
"Comparing... Six intruders detected, all equipped with Holographic Belts and spiritual power shield devices, rapidly approaching the air vents’ intakes."
Wang Jixuan made a decisive call, "Raise the alarm! Hit them with the searchlights! Let the soldiers fire at will!"
"Yes!"
Mu Dan’s fingertips flickered rapidly, and the images on the projectors changed swiftly.
Above, Lingtong piloted a Mecha, shattering the ice sphere with a single stroke of her sword.
On the ground, soldiers were cheering continuously, celebrating their victory in this interception, which signified their successful counterattack against Spiritual Ability City.
At that moment.
The sirens of Fortress 82 blared!
Soldiers on duty received the same command in various ways, and commanders from each unit gave out the simplest of orders.
Around the corner of the camp, in front of a ventilation duct, a dozen soldiers charged forward hand in hand, knocking out a transparent figure;
A soldier threw a fast-acting color smoke grenade, outlining a running figure in the smoke;
Gunshots rang out from the edge of the camp, as several soldiers aimed and fired into the desert, plunging the main camp into chaos.
The battle was thus born.
Ordinary Human Warriors had just discovered the intruders when a roar that seemed capable of shattering eardrums came from the northwest corner, and a burly man erupted in black armor, charging into the crowd bulletproof like a monster from a special effects show.
C-Level Mutated Spiritual Ability User!
In an area slightly closer to the inside of the camp, the figure the soldiers had knocked out activated a Shield, and visible Shock Waves burst from behind his head, knocking soldiers backward, clutching their heads and screaming miserably.
B-Level Telekinesis Spirit Ability User!
All six intruders launched their attacks simultaneously, among them three B-Level Spirit Ability Users!
The enemy had really invested heavily!
All the Spiritual Ability Users were dressed in expensive combat suits, and their powerful combat abilities, in combination with their own powers, overwhelmed the ordinary soldiers.
Two hidden Half-human Mechas immediately appeared and launched their attacks.
Several squads from the Special Team were already moving in from the perimeter to encircle the camp.
These six Spiritual Ability Users, who had somehow approached the outside of the camp, were now incredibly close to their respective targets, with five of them rushing forward amidst the chaos, forcefully throwing over a dozen bottles of pink liquid into six different air vents!
Amidst the faint sound of breaking glass, a C-Level Spirit Ability User’s head was struck by a beam from the Destruction Cannon, instantly blowing off half of it!
Snipers fired!
The Special Team unleashed heavy fire!
The Half-human Mechas charged through the crowd into the fray;
With their mission accomplished, the remaining five Spiritual Ability Users did not linger to fight, turning to break out in different directions, capturing ordinary soldiers as human shields, limiting the military’s ability to use firepower.
The chaos in the camp intensified.
The remaining two C-Level Spirit Ability Users were suppressed by the soldiers.
Two B-Level Spirit Ability Users were caught and entangled in a fight by the Half-human Mechas;
Only one B-Level body-enhancing Spirit Ability User managed to break out of the camp, and, quite nonchalantly, headed straight towards the location of Wang Jixuan’s temporary supply station.
Master Wang was already putting on his X armor, but it took some time to don;
This ’Black Crocodile Skin’ Mutated Spiritual Ability User, now running on all fours in the desert, was achieving incredibly fast speeds.
’If I don’t have time to wear the armor, I shall slay this Great Demon without it!’
Master Wang was about to abandon the armor and rush out directly.
"Commander, Mu Dan requests to engage."
Mu Dan stated calmly,
"Mu Dan should be able to hold off the Spiritual Ability User."
Instructor Hei also leaned out of the car window, "Wang Zheng, let her go. You don’t need to rush to don the War Armor. It’s just a B- body enhancer; Mu Dan can handle it."
Master Wang nodded in agreement, "Delay as much as possible, I’m on my way."
"Yes, Mu Dan won’t disappoint the commander!"
Mu Dan replied crisply, turning to head to the exit of the supply station. Taking advantage of the moment the overhead electronic door opened, she removed the cat ear headband on her head and casually tied up her dark gold hair.
Bending her knees, she leaped, and with the weight of a regular person, the Loyal Wingman R99 Mu Dan gracefully jumped out of the three-meter-deep sand pit.
Wang Jixuan did not stop, continuing to don his armor, as the images on the holographic projection screen changed.
After jumping out of the supply station, Mu Dan walked gracefully with cat-like steps, holding her arms crossed before her, and wearing high heels she moved northwest, turning her head to look towards the camp.
Her calculations were precise, and after taking roughly thirty steps, she was directly in the path of the charging ’human crocodile.’
The B-Level Spiritual Ability User spotted Mu Dan from a hundred meters away. Feeling no threat, he continued to charge at over seventy miles an hour, his wake trailed by billowing dust from his hands and feet.
"The commander didn’t say whether to take prisoners, so Mu Dan will have to make a judgment. Mu Dan must fully demonstrate her close combat skills. That’s what Mu Dan thinks."
