Yan Lingling was startled by the voice and stopped talking immediately as she looked at her father in horror.

While Lin Xiao and Yan Liguang were discussing the project, Feng Zhexuan glanced at his wife and saw that she was chewing a plate of fruit with relish as if she was watching a show.

"Baby, the play is over and you have eaten your fill. Should we go back now?" he asked while wiping the fruit stains on his wife’s lips.

Yan Yuling nodded, took a sip of tea, and said, "Dad, the meal is done. So, I will take my leave first."

Yan Liguang was concentrating on the discussion with Lin Xiao and was annoyed when he was disturbed. He glanced at Feng Zhexuan and said, "Yuling, it’s okay to have fun, but don’t leave any trouble on the outside."

Hearing her father’s words, Yan Yuling’s eyes turned cold but she still smiled and said, "Dad, don’t worry. If I am pregnant with my boyfriend’s child, I will definitely take care of myself and give birth safely. Who knows that one day I will need a child to stabilize my position as a legal wife."

As soon as she finished speaking, Wen Jiali looked at her with red eyes and said heartbrokenly, "Brother Liguang, I..."

"Yuling, apologize to your mother now!" Yan Liguang shouted.

Before leaving the room, Yan Yuling turned to look at her father. She let out a long sigh and said worriedly, "Dad, I think you should go to the hospital for a check-up."
