After a moment, he took a sip of his wine to mask his nervousness and asked, "If she is not his daughter, then who is her father?"

The man shook his head and said, "No one knows. After all, this might be a rumor spread by the mistress’s daughter to ruin the legitimate daughter’s reputation."

"If she is not Chairman Yan’s daughter, then wouldn’t that mean his wife had an affair with another man? Moreover, which man would be willing to raise another man’s daughter? So, that rumor must be false," he added.

When he heard this, Jin Zhiwen’s eyes dimmed. He let out a soft laugh and said in a low voice, "That’s right, she is still alive. So, that person’s late wife must be someone else."

"What did you say?" the man asked.

"It’s nothing. Senior, I still have a matter to attend to. Let’s meet another day," Jin Zhiwen said as he stood up.

"Okay, if you need anything, just give me a call."

"Mn."

Meanwhile, in the hospital, Feng Zhexuan stood at the bedside and asked, "Doctor, is my wife alright?"

The doctor looked at the test results and said, "Mr. Feng, your wife is fine. Although there are some substances left in her blood, after some rest, she will recover. Once she finishes the IV drip, she can leave the hospital."

Hearing this, Feng Zhexuan let out a sigh of relief and said, "Thank you, Doctor."

Before leaving, the doctor looked at Feng Zhexuan and added seriously, "Mr. Feng, while you may want to add excitement or seek help in doing that kind of exercise, using this kind of drug is harmful to the body. You should do more exercise to increase your stamina instead of depending on medicine."

Feng Zhexuan was stunned by the doctor’s words and standing there with wide eyes full of shock. He didn’t understand how the doctor could reach that conclusion. After all, he was in good health and very strong. He didn’t need any medicine to perform!
