When the old man heard Feng Zhexuan’s words, his eyes widened in horror, and said, "No, please spare me! I really don’t know anything!"

Feng Zhexuan sat on the only clean chair in the warehouse, watching the mercenaries using pliers to pull out the old man’s nails with an unsettling calmness.

"ARGH!!!"

The abandoned warehouse was filled with the painful screams of the old man and the scent of blood. The screaming lasted only five minutes before it died down.

Looking at the old man lying on the ground, Feng Zhexuan said coldly, "Wake him up."

Following his order, the mercenaries poured another bucket of ice water to wake the old man up.

After the old man woke up, he knelt on the ground. Ignoring his bleeding fingers, he begged, "Sir, please spare my life. I really don’t know what evidence you are talking about."

Feng Zhexuan clapped his hands slowly and said with amazement clear in his eyes, "You are indeed Feng Bohai’s good dog. Even though you were tortured like this, you still refused to speak."

He waved his hand and said coldly, "Cut off his fingers one by one until he confesses."

As soon as he finished speaking, a mercenary walked up to the old man with a dagger in his hand and an eerie smile on his face.

He pressed the old man’s palm to the ground and said, "Old man, you should just listen to the order and tell everything you know. It’s you who asked for this, so you can’t blame me."

When the old man saw the dagger shining in the dim light, cold sweat broke out on his back, and he shouted, "No! Please spare my life! I will tell..."

Crash!

Before he could finish speaking, his little finger was chopped off by a mercenary in one smooth movement. Blood spurted from his hand, staining the ground red.

Pain spread from his palms throughout his body, leaving him speechless. The severe pain made him unable to make a sound and he could only curl up on the ground as he whimpered like a dying dog.

"Do you want to tell me now?" Feng Zhexuan asked.

The old man gritted his teeth and said weakly, "I really don’t know what you are talking about."

Hearing this, Feng Zhexuan laughed and said, "Since you are so loyal to him, you can only blame yourself for your daughter’s death."

As soon as he finished speaking, the old man raised his head and shouted, "No, not my daughter!"

"Please don’t hurt my daughter. I-I will tell you everything," he finally surrendered.

He cares more about his children’s lives than his own. As long as the children can live a good life, he doesn’t mind getting his hands stained with blood and doing dirty work for Feng Bohai.

His two children were living a life he couldn’t have imagined now. Therefore, he will do whatever it takes to make sure they both know nothing about his or their past, even if it costs him his life.

Feng Zhexuan just looked at him, waiting for him to confess.

The old man knows that his daughter is safe for the time being with Guan Wufeng. But with Feng Zhexuan’s ability, it is only a matter of time before he does something.

Not only did they fool him for so many years, but they also changed his memory and made him think that Xing Xiayan was his savior. For a man as proud as he is, he will never let those who humiliate him go.

Recalling the scene of his wife’s death that day, the old man was so frightened that he almost peed himself. He never imagined that his wife would die at the hands of a thirteen-year-old child.

After hesitating for a while, the old man finally said, "The evidence of your kidnapping is stored in the locker at the train station."

"What about the evidence of my parents’ car accident?" Feng Zhexuan asked.

Before the old man could refute, he added, "Don’t try to fool me. I know it was Feng Bohai who ordered you to damage my parents’ car and caused the accident."

"You are just a lackey. If you confess everything and hand over the evidence, I will spare you and your children’s lives and ask the judge to reduce your punishment. You know what I and the Feng family can do."

When the old man heard this, his heart moved. Compared with Feng Bohai who was in prison, Feng Zhexuan is stronger and more capable. He still has bargaining chips in his hand. Maybe if he turned it over, he wouldn’t have to go to jail.

After weighing the pros and cons, the old man finally said, "I only have the recording of Feng Bohai ordering me to damage your parents’ car. As for other evidence, he destroyed it a few years ago."

"Where is the recording?" Feng Zhexuan asked.

"It’s hidden in my daughter’s house," the old man said.

Feng Zhexuan laughed and said, "You are indeed brave. You dare to hide the evidence under my nose."

As soon as he finished speaking, he stood up and said, "Send him to the police."

This time it was Wei Zheming who answered, "Okay."

Before leaving, Feng Zhexuan looked at the mercenaries and said, "After my assistant leaves here, your money will be transferred to you. I will add five million to your account as a bonus."

When the mercenary’s leader heard this, he smiled and said, "Thank you, boss! If you need our services in the future, please contact me!"

Feng Zhexuan nodded and strode out of the abandoned warehouse.

After he left, Wei Zheming called his assistant and waited for a car, while Feng Zhexuan drove back in his own car. Along the way, he was thinking about the boy in his memory.

He felt like he was missing something, but he couldn’t put his finger on what was wrong.
