Little Wife's Diary: My Husband is My Boss!
Chapter 167: Our Little Family

Chapter 167: Our Little Family

Everyone was stunned when they heard Feng Zhexuan’s words.

Feng Zhexuan held his wife’s hand and added, "After all, no matter what the outcome, Grandpa Jin has said that he will treat you as his granddaughter. Therefore, this document will not affect Grandpa Jin’s decision at all."

When Yan Yuling heard her husband’s words, her worries disappeared. Everything her husband said was right. Regardless of the outcome, Grandpa Jin will treat her as his granddaughter.

Even if she is not his biological granddaughter, Grandpa Jin is still her adopted Grandpa.

When she regains her memory and learns the truth about her birth from her mother’s diary, she longs for true family love. Therefore, she was a little hesitant, fearing that the result would be wrong and she would be disappointed.

She hopes that Jin Rongsan is her biological grandfather so that she can find her biological father and question why he abandoned her and her mother back then.

Seeing his wife deep in thought, Feng Zhexuan held her hands and said, "Wife, if you don’t want to see it, don’t force yourself. You have me, and I will always be your closest family. We will build our own little family."

Yan Yuling came back to her senses and made up her mind, "Husband, I want to see the test results."

Jin Rongsan breathed a sigh of relief when he heard this. It seems that his granddaughter is very similar to his wife. They are all people who eat soft words but not hard words.

Feng Zhexuan handed the envelope to his wife and asked her to check the results.

Yan Yuling took the document, turned to the last page, and saw 92% written in red.

When she realized that the old man who saved her was her grandfather, her hands trembled. The old man in front of her is her closest relative, her only blood relative.

When this thought came to her mind, tears fell from the corners of her eyes, startling the three men.

Feng Zhexuan quickly pulled his wife into his arms and patted her back gently. He said nothing and let his wife cry.

Due to her emotional instability, Yan Yuling often cried over trivial matters. She knew what she was doing was ridiculous, but she couldn’t control her emotions.

After a while, her tears finally stopped, and she looked at her husband with red and swollen eyes.

Feng Zhexuan looked at his wife’s swollen eyes, feeling distressed, and sighed, "You, what should I do to make you feel better? If you keep crying like this, your eyes will hurt."

Tears began to well up in her eyes again when she heard her husband’s caring words. Yan Yuling buried her head in her husband’s arms and said, "Don’t be so nice to me, or I won’t be able to stop crying."

Feng Zhexuan was speechless as he watched his wife wiping her tears and snot on her custom-made shirt. He rubbed his wife’s hair lovingly and said helplessly, "Wife, what you are asking is impossible."

The two old men sitting opposite them were fed with dog food until their faces turned green.

Before knowing that Yan Yuling was his granddaughter, Jin Rongsan didn’t feel anything when he saw them showing off their affections.

But now that he knew her identity, he found that Feng Zhexuan was not very pleasing to his eyes. Whenever he saw this young man holding his granddaughter and kissing her, he felt irritated and suffocated.

He couldn’t stand it anymore and interrupted them with a cough, "Ahem!"

Seeing his friend’s unhappy expression, Grandpa Feng felt gloating in his heart. Such a good girl is my family’s granddaughter-in-law. Old Jin, you came too late!

Yan Yuling was startled by the cough, let go of her husband, and lowered her head shyly, while Feng Zhexuan stared at Jin Rongsan unhappily.

Jin Rongsan glared at the young man, looked at Yan Yuling, and said softly, "Yuling, won’t you call me Grandpa?"

Hearing this, Yan Yuling came over, sat next to Jin Rongsan, and said, "Grandpa."

As soon as she said this, she hugged her grandfather again and cried.

When Feng Zhexuan saw this, he sighed and went to get an ice pack for his wife. He should ask the doctor to prescribe some medicine to protect his wife’s eyes. It seems that his previous emotionless wife will become his crybaby in the future.

When he returned with an ice pack, his wife had calmed down and was wiping tears. He sat next to her, took away the rough tissue, and applied an ice pack wrapped in a clean towel to her eyes.

"Okay, be good and stop crying," he coaxed her gently.

Yan Yuling nodded and let her husband help her compress her swollen eyes.

After his wife’s red and swollen eyes got better, Feng Zhexuan took a warm wet towel and wiped his wife’s face.

Feeling better, Yan Yuling looked at her grandfather and asked, "Grandpa, can I ask what happened back then? Where is my father?"

When Jin Rongsan heard this, he was silent for a long time and then said, "I have never met your father."

Yan Yuling was stunned by his words, and then asked again, "Grandpa, what do you mean?"

Jin Rongsan took a deep breath and said hoarsely, "Forty-six years ago, your grandma left me without a word. I didn’t even know she was pregnant with my child when she left. I have been looking for her over the years, but I have never found any clues about her. I didn’t know she and I had a child until I met you."

"I don’t know what happened to her and our child, but I hope I can get a clue from you. Yuling, you are the first clue I have found in so many years."

When Yan Yuling heard this, her eyes dimmed and she said, "Grandpa, I have never met my biological father either. I only know about him from my mother. Once she showed me his photo when I was five years old."
