After getting his wife’s consent, Feng Zhexuan asked her to unlock the phone, clicked on the message, and said, "It’s from Yan Yunci. She is asking for your ward number. She said she is here and wants to visit you."

When she heard that the message was from her friend, Yan Yuling was overjoyed and said, "Then let her come over. We haven’t contacted each other for some time. I don’t know how she is doing now."

Feng Zhexuan nodded and sent the ward number. After sending the message, he locked the phone and said, "Wife, I have to go to the company. If you need anything, call the nurse or call me."

"I will wait until Yan Yunci comes over before going to the company," Feng Zhexuan said.

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door.

At first, they thought it was Yan Yunci. But when the door opened, they were both surprised to see the man.

While his mind was spinning rapidly, he still had a gentle smile on his face. He picked up the chair, sat down beside the bed, and said, "Thank you, Mr. Feng."

Then, he reached out his hand to hold Yan Yuling’s wrist.

When Feng Zhexuan saw this, his eyes widened and he quickly stopped his hand while asking angrily, "What are you going to do?"

Looking at the hand holding his wrist, Jian Yuan said, "I just want to check Yuling’s pulse."

"There is no need to bother you. The attending doctor has done a full body examination and there is nothing wrong with my wife," Feng Zhexuan said coldly.

Yan Yuling looked at them and saw her husband’s jealousy. Remembering her promise to him, she smiled and said, "Jianci, I’m fine. There is no need to bother you with this small matter."

After hesitating for a moment, she added, "Well, my husband’s vinegar jar can easily overturn, so it’s better to keep our distance. It’s not good to be too close."

She is his Xiao Ling’er and he is her Brother Yuan. She said she wanted to marry him when she grew up. Has she forgotten her promise?
