Yan Yunci didn’t know what to say after hearing Chen Yuhan’s words. Although Lin Xiao and them were just acquaintances, if someone asked her to ignore his life or death, she couldn’t do it either.

Therefore, she understood why Chen Yuhan risked his life to pull Lin Xiao out of the car. However, understanding and acceptance are worlds apart.

She could understand his decision, but she couldn’t accept him taking risks for a stranger. No matter what, his life is the most important. If something happened to him, she didn’t know what would happen to her and her grandfather.

Chen Yuhan didn’t know what she was thinking. But he knew she was angry with him. So, he played the sympathy card to her to win her forgiveness.

He pulled at her fingers lightly and said feebly, "Yunci, I feel dizzy. I feel so uncomfortable."

As soon as Yan Yunci heard his words, she instantly forgot her anger. She stood up, quickly pressed the red button on the bedside, and said anxiously, "Yuhan, wait a moment, the doctor will be here."

Not long after, the door was pushed open, and several doctors walked into the ward with several young doctors and nurses.

Chen Yuhan sighed when he saw this scene. He always feels that rich people like to waste resources. He doesn’t need so many doctors to take care of him.

Despite his sighs, the doctor came over and asked, "President Chen, how do you feel? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

"I feel dizzy and nauseous, especially when I move my head," Chen Yuhan said with a pale face.

Upon hearing this, the doctor checked his condition and the nurse checked his blood pressure and heartbeat.

After a while, Yan Yunci saw that the doctor had finished the examination and asked, "Doctor, how is Yuhan?"

"President Chen still has a concussion and needs to be hospitalized for a few days. We will do a full body check on him to make sure everything is fine."

Hearing this, Yan Yunci breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Then please help me with the procedures."

The doctor nodded and agreed readily, "No problem, Miss Yan."

"President Chen, don’t move around for now and get more rest," the doctor added.

"Thank you for your hard work, everyone," Chen Yuhan smiled.

After everyone left, Chen Yuhan looked at Yan Yunci, hesitated for a moment before he said, "Actually, there is no need to ask so many people to check on me. One doctor is enough."

Yan Yunci, who came from a wealthy family, didn’t understand Chen Yuhan’s thoughts and said, "It doesn’t hurt to find more doctors to check you out. We have to make sure you are okay."

"It’s a waste," Chen Yuhan said.

Hearing this, Yan Yunci frowned and asked, "Why is it a waste?"

"I’m alright and don’t need so many doctors. It’s a waste of medical resources. More importantly, we need to spend a lot of money to pay them," Chen Yuhan explained.

Hearing this, Yan Yunci looked at him doubtfully and said, "Our family has money to pay the hospital fee. So, this is not a problem at all."

Hearing her words, Chen Yuhan sighed. This was one of the reasons why he hesitated for so many years to advance their relationship. The two were born in different social classes and have different life experiences and mentality.

Although he likes her, he doesn’t know if they can understand each other after they take further steps in their relationship.

What should he do if they break up after being in a relationship?

He couldn’t risk their current situation for the sake of an unknown future, no matter how much he yearns for her love.

Yan Yunci nodded again. She saw Chen Yuhan’s efforts on earning money and is now experiencing the hardships of making money on her own. So, she agreed with him.

"Then do you think it would be good to invite so many doctors and nurses to examine me when I only have a concussion?" he asked again.

This time, Yan Yunci did not answer him directly, but thought for a long time before saying, "However, if there are more doctors, they will know if there is any problem with your body."

"Yunci, I know you are worried about me, but every doctor is great. One is enough."

After frowning for a long time, Yan Yunci finally said, "Okay. I will listen to you and tell the hospital director to assign one doctor for you."

Chen Yuhan breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "Good. Yunci, I’m a little tired. You go to eat something first, or go home and rest. There are nurses and doctors here. If I need anything, I can find them."

"No, I will stay here with you. Go to sleep and don’t worry about me," Yan Yunci said, pulling the thin quilt to cover Chen Yuhan’s body.

Seeing her stubborn look, Chen Yuhan said nothing and closed his eyes to sleep. He was so dizzy that he couldn’t think clearly.

Not long after, Yan Yunci heard the soft, even breathing coming from him. She looked at his pale face, held his hand, and played with his long fingers with a pout.
